how.... I just ordered my QK 75 and then I might just resell it. This is insane, this cost like 1/3 of QK75 but still producing similar sound. Mind blowing
qk75 is considerably better but there's a lot you can do with a good budget board, same as there's a lot you can do with a much more expensive board. rest assured your money is gonna be well spent with this keyboard, great build quality, material, typing feel, sound, build flexibility, etc.
Only after I bought the materials did I realise the very reason why custom keyboards are expensive 😂 But doing it myself saves a lot more, as much as it's tempting to buy ones that are already custom built
@@CyrusKawaii Yeah, I'm satisfied with the sound. But take my words with a grain of salt, I'm still learning. But it did give that creamy sound. And I like it better than my old keyboard.
Hi guys! So I ordered this kit directly from Taobao but unfortunately, they are out of stock at the current moment. I tried to find it again on Taobao to provide a link so that you guys can have a look into this board, but I couldn’t find it so I assumed that the listing has been deleted :( I will keep you guys posted as soon as they are in-stock again and will provide a link to Taobao where you can get this board. Thanks everyone for watching :)
I’m always so impressed by these keyboard but then I realize how much work I have to put in to get it to sound like that and I’m just like, no thank you. Also all of these keyboards are wireless and aren’t full size, which I don’t like either. I’d want a full size wired keyboard, which apparently no one likes in the custom keyboard community. I want to get into this hobby, but I feel so alienated. I’m sticking with my Razer Blackwidow v4 pro for now.
This keyboard with oil kings sounds really good, although oil kings are expensive. They sound similar to these, a bit deeper. (70 gateron oilkings = £40) a mix of thock and creamy :)
Hi, nice build! I was wondering if I could use creamy yellow akko v3 switches and have similar sounds? I was also wondering how much thin was that extra EVA foam? Should I buy a 1mm or more?
I just ordered this kit but with jelly blacks, I don't know if I should have gone with crystals like you because it surely sounds amazing. I hope I can make mine sound like yours.
I'm waiting for mine to arrive too. I have jelly back, it's smooth but just doesn't give the creamy sound. I would suggest KTT Strawberry, Rose or Kang White, Gateron Yellow Pro (or Milky Yellow), or the new Akko Cream yellow V3.
Ive built one keyboard so far, the gamakay lk67 with lubed gateron yellows and honey milk keycaps. Ive now ordered this keyboard to be my second built with some akko cs lavenders and the same keycap clones as you. I am overly excited, and cannot wait for everything to arrive. Though, im wondering what the best way to lube and modify stabs are. The stabs on my lk67 are stock and they sound alright, but i wanna modify the stabs on this one. Great video btw!
Thanks bro :) for the stock stabs of the gmk67, I’d recommend relubing the stabs with 205g0 on the housings + stems and permatex or xht-bdz for the wires, balancing the wires if needed or you could potentially do the holee mod but I’ve always try to avoid that cuz it makes your stabs sound muted and feel bit mushy, after that you’re pretty much good to go :D
this is kind of late but I'm building the exact same board with the akko cs lavenders and the gmk67. How has it sounded for you, and could you paste a link for the keycap clones (I can't really find them online)
