    Thank you so much! European sunscreens are so much more accessible than Korean ones

    Thanx for the honest review. Spf is very important, but we have to bear in mind that they are quite pricey for many people around the Globe. I'm from Europe. Fortunately, I can afford quite a few good ones. As for those who can't, go for Body milks and lotions (200ml), Eucerin, La Roche, Avene. If they are safe enough for the toddlers skin, they are def to go on our adult faces. Thank you 💖 P. S. Love how aware you are on both spectrums in all of your reviews. 🤗

    that Garnier sunscreen is the best thing EVER! I used to use the La Roche Posay one you showed, but it wasn't mattifying and would leave a bit of shine on the skin which got worse throughout the day. The Garnier one is like a semi-mat finish which easily sinks into the skin and I think it is the niacinamide and HA int he formula that give it this gel like texture.

      @@beer_bad fun fact! I'm actually autistic and I used to just write what I meant and always with proper sentence structure and punctuation but I found that people often thought I was being rude, blunt or formal when I had no intention to be. So I intentionally added in more modifiers, internet abbreviations and slang, saying "like" as a filler word, and emoji 😊 to soften my writing and try to make myself seem as informal and friendly as I actually feel I am. It's become automatic now and I'm sure it annoys some people because a lot of these linguistic habits are associated with young women, but overall it's helped me express myself in a way that is true to my actual personality. I am aware that 'literally' adds no meaning to that sentence but I'm happy with that because I'm not using it to make the sentence more comprehensible but to give a feeling of how I might talk in person.

The Eucerin one was a complete disaster for me and my husband who has Skin Type I, he burnt so badly... maybe also because he was in and out of the water, but it doesn't protect that well. For me the ideal sunscreen should be water resistant, protecting well from direct sun and no need of reapplication... BTW, I think your review is missing on the "protection from the sun part"...

    Garnier is like one of the most well-known brands in my country. Unfortunately, the products that they sell here are a lot different than what they sell in Europe and North America. They really focus on cute and eye-catching packaging. All of their products (besides the pink micellar water) contain a high amount of fragrance and alcohol, which i'm very sensitive of. Not to mention they use the word "whitening" as a selling point. I've been wanting to try that sunscreen, but what they sell here is basically the green Loreal sunscreen in a Garnier tube (the tube is identical, too, but comes in a yellow color, which is their signature color here).

    Thank you for presenting European brands! I am based in France and it is more accessible to me (less expensive and no transport fees)! Unfortunately one thing I can't find here is a mineral sunscreen that is brown skin friendly :(. It is even not that easy to find a mineral sunscreen at all, which I really don't understand as it seem quite developed in the US! I might settle for the La Roche Posay Invisible sunscreen as it does not sting the eyes (my biggest fear with chemical filters) but one of the main ingredient is alcohol so I will keep looking at American sunscreens..

    • @Soleil5291
      @Soleil5291 Год назад +1

      Most mineral sunscreens aren’t white skin friendly either. The really good ones (20% and up active zinc oxide) leave a white cast for literally everyone. I mix in a foundation 2 shades darker than my regular foundation with the sunscreen and it works for me. Idk anyone whose wearing a GOOD mineral sunscreen all on its own, regardless of skin tone. The brown skin friendly thing is convincing black and brown people that they can’t use mineral, meanwhile- even white people are twisting their arm trying to make the mineral work. Try the foundation thing. You will be so happy.
      Pippette
      Thinkbaby
      Vanicream spf 50 or 30
      Pure and simple copper tone baby mineral
      I use these and I use a foundation to mix

    •  Год назад

For example, I just saw online the Eucerin Sun Photoaging Control Tinted SPF 50+ Light/Eucerin Sun Fluid Photoaging Control SPF 50 ones and the ingredients are so much better than the Eucerin Age Defense one only available in the US - just, illogical and makes no sense why I can't at least order it online but no, they don't allow it, same with so many of these other amazing European/International options.
    Anyways, your overview was fantastic and very well done, very thorough and comparable as well, great work! If you have suggestions how US people can gain access to any of these or even better K sun/skincare options, please let me know!
