@@bonesonstones1 thats why the commenter said "before" because moms do get attacked for giving their children cows milk, like a lot. Especially whole, unpasteurized, raw cows milk. Which despite what people believe, it does go through a form of tests and contains the enzymes that break down the lactose making raw milk easier to digest. My dad couldnt have breast milk or formula, bad reactions to both, and so my great grandpa gave him raw cows milk.

Okay, you just made me utterly homesick. I had no idea you were in Strasburg. Fifty years ago, my mom would have been walking me on those same streets and sidewalks. In fact, I'm kinda thinking that house you were looking at might have been my babysitters house. My mom taught school, and I went there in the morning and to another sitter in the afternoon. Her kids kinda picked on me, so after a while, the other sitter took me on morning and evening. I know she was on that section of that street. I'm not sure if that was the house or not. I remember that little cabin too. Friends of the family lived behind it. It is so nice to see a little bit of home.

you are a beautiful Mum. At this age i had my kids help sort. While teaching colors.White's, darks, pinks and blues! You can keep your daughter busy folding wash cloths, or rolling them with towels. including dish towels and cleaning cloths. let them see what you choose to clean, then remind them they go in a differnt pile when clean.( we have the same system at church. White towls for sink and dishes, gray towels for dusting an cleaning. White towels are never used on the floor or in the bathrooms.) Soon they will sit and copy you. keeps them from running into the next room where you cant see em, or keeps em busy in the living room while your in the kitchen. You will be so pleased when Sis is teaching her little brother how to sort and fold! God bless your home& family

The most important thing when it comes to cowsmilk is, that you know for sure they spend EVERY SINGLE DAY Outside, can run and eat fresh grass.

I love how you put your hair up, I too have long hair (mine is past waist length) I rarely wear it down, with kids and a household to take care of, keeping it up is a MUST. I would fight with it all day if I didn't. I was wondering have you thought about doing a video about the way you put your hair up? That may be a weird request lol But I have yet to be able to find a way to put it up (without a hair clip, I can rarely find any big enough).
Also, I love your channel. It has been something my daughters and Iove to see. I have one daughter that sews so the videos are really a good resource for her. I myself crochet and love to make stuff so Its fun for me too. I love how bubbly you are it is absolutely infectious! Please keep the videos coming you are doing a fantastic job and helping a lot of us moms out there that may feel a little bit disconnected from others.
sorry for the long post lol
much love and blessings to you!!!

I just loved watching you. It seems like such a lovely family, and you are doing a great job as a mom. I love how you communicate with your child, without any "baby talk". Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the video!!! We frequently visit Lancaster...at least once a month. We love it!!! I usually pick up a figurine and a Budget from Amish Farm House. We love Bird in Hand farmers market. We usually count how many horse n buggies we see...😆 Lancaster is our happy place 🌸

Yes I totally agree with you. My husband and I visit the Amish country a few times a year and we love it. My most favorite place to go. The peace and serenity you feel can't be found just anywhere. I love the Bird In Hand, Ronks, Strasburg, Ephrata, Intercourse area. If you ever need some pine furniture you should check out Skelp Level Woodworking in Leola. His name is Samuel Ebersol and very nice. He's making a tv cabinet for my husband and I that we will pick up in a couple weeks. Also, love your videos Megan and you have such sweet kids.

We do no-fold methods, too! Now that the kids are a little bigger, they fold pants and shorts and match socks, but all tops are hung up, and we don't bother folding their undies. My kids are 11 and 8, and now take care of their own laundry, and part of that was starting with a "putting away" method that was simple enough for them start handling on their own with just a little supervision starting around age 4.

You speak quickly and extremely clear. You have excellent eye contact with the camera. Your life is interesting but the show about ordinary, happy family life could drag if you did not have these special qualities. As it is, we learn so much with rapt attention in an intermediate length of time. I added you to my subscriptions.

I love your videos! I am not religious in the least, live in the epicenter of political correctness, and don't have kids. You and I have nothing in common...yet, I feel we could talk and talk. Thank you for sharing your life. It's a calming education.

You are obviously rearing your daughter right. She is smart, very capable, pleasant, and a good eater, too. She's very verbal. You don't baby talk her. Kids are just adorable. Love the way you get your housework done and find joy in it. In short, you got it goin' on, woman!
