Just a quick update since we last filmed: We were able to talk to another pediatric neurologist in the area from a smaller clinic and get more hands-on help. Currently Fletcher's seizures are down to almost zero (as of the past 4 days.) Keep praying as test results roll in over the next couple of weeks, that we could find a treatment plan for him that would be successful. Every day feels like a roller coaster, but with God we are learning to navigate this new normal. We are so appreciative of you all! Thanks for being here.❤
This is wonderful news!! I am so glad they have not as frequent and I pray they will continue to stay at zero 💗 One of my daughters (10) developed an eye tic last fall, shortly after getting that nasty virus we all are sick of... It was so stressful, i can not imagine dealing with full on seizures (plus caring for a newborn)! Her tics only last a few months, but I am anxious they will come back or turn into more. I will continue to pray for you and your family ~ Its okay to not do videos every week too. I love seeing you but if you need time I am sure many of us understand!
God bless you guys so much❤. Love ya all. I pray for good results and easy to heal without medicine. Hallelujah! In Jesus' mighty name, I pray, Amen. BTW just wondering, did they check his vitamin levels, and check him for Lyme disease? Just wondering. 3 kids that I know ended up with Lyme disease last summer. We live in Ohio. Ticks are so bad hear. All 3 kids ended up with different weird symptoms. None had seizures though. I'm definitely not a Dr. But I hear Lyme disease can do crazy things. God bless you so much. Hope you get answers soon. *hugs*
Thank you for the update. I cant imagine what your going trough.. we Will keep praying for him and hope that the seizures will stay low… the Lord bless you and keep you, The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. ❤
Prayers for Fletcher❣️❣️ Prayers for you too Meghan. As a mom, I know the heartache that you’re going through. Trust in the Lord. He will protect Fletcher. ❤️❤️❤️
Have him tested for tick born illness. Seizures are a common symptom in children. This is suspect as it started right after camping. He will be alright. Have faith. Prayers for healing and comfort for all.
Yes, this! I came to say the same. My daughter has a coinfection of Lyme disease called bartonella or bartonellosis. Seizures are common within the Lyme disease and various coinfections. My friend's daughter had a ordeal with Bells Palsy from a tick bite. Tick borne disease can cause wild neurological symptoms. We will be praying for the seizures to stop. And we will also be praying for God's peace for you and Josh.❤
@@melissalee2286 This is what I was thinking too. My friend has the same. Please get him checked for lymes (if you need advice on Dr's in the VA area, please PM me). God bless you all x
@@melissalee2286 same with my daughter! epileptic EEG activity with lyme and bartonella! and all the hospital tests western blot and Elisa came back negative for years because once its "chronic" they dont pick it up on the standard tests. we had to order the self pay tests from vibrant American and igenix and right away they saw multiple types of lyme and bartonella and other infections!
Agreed! I live in Northern Canada where Ticks were not seen until recently. My friend and I have both been bitten in the past year. The weather is MUCH warmer than normal and ticks are thriving. I would definitely get checked.
Josh Thank you for saying this. We are having our own health uncertainty right now. While waiting on my results I told my husband life goes on, I'm going to live what I have left to the fullness. Good days and bad. Thanks again Josh.
I might be Jewish but I know "the will of God will never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you" with so much love and constant prayers for you all...someone in Georgia loves you. Peace to you, in all you do... 🤲🩵
A few thoughts after watching this: 1. Yes praying for your family 2. You married well. Josh gives a great example of a person not leaning to their own understanding. He leans into his faith and encourages himself in the Lord like David. It doesn’t mean he isn’t scared but he clearly knows where his help comes from in his heart. That’s a blessing to have. 3. If Jeremiah 29:11 is the word God gave you for this time, remember the promise God made to his people in that verse would only come AFTER their time in Babylon. Babylon is rough but a promise from God is a promise that will be kept. 4. I pray for the health of your son, the peace in your mind and soul and the building of your faith. 5. Your community is an awesome support.
Epilepsy isn't a death sentence. I am 41, I am able to drive, I have lived on my own since I graduated college. The only thing I don't do is haunted houses and I'm careful around flashing lights and fireworks. My life is normal... I just happen to take meds.
Yes. Our daughter had them. When she was diagnosed I did not wanted her to go anywhere. Yet, my husband said. She will live a full life and we will support her. God is good. She is doing well now
be careful in saying that. Some people sadly have died from it. Yes it is rare but it can unfortunately happen. Not saying that anything will happen just saying saying it's not a death sentence is not always true.
You are right of course that some people can live full lives with it. However I lost my little brother in 2021 to his epilepsy. He was 25 years old and riding home on his motorcycle after working a full day and never made it home. He took medication too but his just kept getting worse and his doctor insisted he could work and drive and live a normal life.
@@skysclowderofcatsI am so sorry for your loss! I’m horrified at your Brothers neurologist- who should have told your brother to report his seizures to the DMV/ DVLA and that he couldn't drive for a year after a seizure. My husband has epilepsy, it’s been very well controlled by medication for 12 years (praise God may it long continue)- after any seizure my husband would by law have to inform the DVLA in our country and he wouldn't be allowed to drive until his consultant or gp / doctor sign a form saying he hasnt had a seizure for over a year. In the UK my husband is given a free bus pass for travel for that year. If your brothers doctor told him he was fine to drive, please consider reporting them as that bad advice is likely the reason your brother is no longer here.
My mother had epilepsy from age 5 until she died at age 80 from something else. She went to college, had a career, married and had children, went to church, entertained at our home, and travelled. There is hope.
Oh Megan. How my heart feels this. My 20 month was admitted to the ER in April for vomiting and inability walk. They found a brain tumor and he’s been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain cancer. I feel all this. I’m so sorry for your family! We spent three months straight in the hospital with him and are enjoying a 2 week break at. We are a family of 5. Please pray for my brave little boy Henry. He will undergo 3 bone marrow transplant cycles. They are intense chemotherapy and if he lives, he will spend several years recovering from the intensity. We go in 8/12 and will be in patient for another 3-4 months then living local to the hospital for 8 weeks of radiation. His brother and sister won’t be allowed visits (germs…) and this is going to be so hard for us.
Praying for complete healing and restoration for your little son. There is victory in the finished work of the cross. Pray going into your appointments and then go forth in joy and peace knowing that he who promised IS faithful. Sending love to you Mama and family.
When Josh said, “this has changed our perspective,” that’s what our Holy Father does for us through hardship and trials! Praying for you and your sweet family! Hold onto Jesus, Megan!
Hi Megan, my daughter was diagnosed with petite mal seizures at five. She was on medication until she was 13. She out grew them. She is 28 and fine! Please stay strong… God is with you….. God is good….🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕
I too was diagnosed with Petite ma seizures at a young age and was on medication all through my teen life. Outgrew them at 21 years old. I'm 30 years old and still have not had a seizure since.
My grandson had tiny seizures when he was very very young. Had all the tests and could find nothing wrong. Was put on medicine and was told he would probably outgrow them. He did! He's 20 now and hasn't had a seizure in several years and of course no meds. I know your son will outgrow this small glitch in your lives
Oh Megan.... I have a daughter with a shunt (hydrocephalus caused from Spina Bifida). Our life was constant emergency for years. Your voice explaining your trip to the ER is something I can absolutely relate to! I'm so very sorry. My daughter has had 12 surgeries and while it's a norm for our life now (last week we rushed her to get brain and spine xrays) I still get shaken.
A few years ago my husband had a traumatic brain injury, one of my go to passages was Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, and ever present help in trouble.
Josh, your godly humility brought me to tears. Yes, thank God the situation isn't worse. Continue drawing on GOD'S STRENGTH and HIS FAVOR as He carries the family through this. As you mentioned, "THERE IS A PATH FORWARD." You're a WISE young man, Josh. I know. You're God's man in this difficult season of your family's life Proverbs 18:22 says it all. P.S. I followed your suggestion and reached out with another word of encouragement to a grieving family I know and will continue to regularly do so.
From a Mom who has walked through some scary medical things with my son this past year, Megan- you need to breath, calm down, and just focus on each day as it comes. Things could be so so much worse than what you are dealing with. It feels like a lot and it is, but you are are working through the best way possible. Keep your stress away from Fletcher, he will sense it. Trust the specialists, but know your son and advocate for him. You got some of the very best news, the MRI was clear and showed NO masses! It might just be a bit of time to find the right medication protocol for him, therapy's, etc.
Coming from a mother who had a severely ill son for over 2 years and who for more than a year did not know if he'd still be here with us the next day... the peace and calm is a process that cannot be rushed and comes with time. I still remember being a wreck when we first started navigated all the health issues of my son. There's a big learning curve regardless of the diagnosis and a fear of an uncertain future. I'm sure as Megan surrenders to God and learns to trust Him in a new way, the peace and calm will come. As she learns more about the diagnosis, the treatments, and adjusts to this new reality, she will learn to navigate it. But for now, it's ok to be overwhelmed with emotions and scared.
Josh is such a calm grounded father and husband, and his wisdom is amazing for such a young man. Stay strong Megan, you are stronger than you believe. ❤❤
Praying ❤️ I struggled with epilepsy from age 7-15 and then they just stopped and I was able to get off the medication after a year being seizure free. I haven’t had one since. Our God is greater than any problem we face.
Right after my husband died suddenly and my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, my 8 yr old started having seizures. I was already a grief-stricken mess so I thought I was going to lose him. He couldn't function or respond during them. He would just suddenly collapse to the ground. They were happening frequently. We went through numerous specialists and many tests, including having a 72 hour EEG, where they caught many seizures. They diagnosed him with non-epileptic seizures. He had them for 6 months then they just stopped, as strangely as they started. He then never had another one. He just graduated high school. His last one was over 9 years ago. His doctors think it is definitely a non-issue for him now.
Oh Megan. I am so sorry. My 3 year old daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy at 5 months old. Her seizures also started out of nowhere and became relentless within about 48 hours. Hearing you describe Fletcher made me burst into tears because I know that awful, scared, helpless feeling. Praise God for modern medicine and His presence in such uncertainty. Praying for your family and for healing for Fletcher ❤️
Hugs and prayers to you and your family and YES the family of God is wonderful..lean on them as I’m SURE you will be there for others in the future as you are able.
The power of fervent prayer and the blood of Jesus cannot be underestimated. He is the one who heals the sick and afflicted. As you pursue man's remedies, please never forget this.
Hi Megan, my heart goes out you and your family ❤ I got diagnosed with epilepsy last year and back then it felt like a death sentence. I promise you it gets so much better. I know lots of people with epilepsy who have gone on to live really normal lives! Currently mine is getting more stable since I started my medication. It’s not easy but the Lord has his plan for your son and he will help him through it ❤️❤️❤️
My heart goes out to you all. My son was diagnosed with epilepsy right around the same age. One of the best things we did was to travel to a major medical center with epilepsy specialists. It made things so much better and the only thing I regret is that we didn't do it sooner. I've heard nothing but good things about CHOP in Philly and their epilepsy program. Not sure how far that would be for you guys. Know that my prayers are with you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My daughter has Epilepsy caused by a brain defect and a tumor. She is 6 years seizure free. I can give you the gift of hope. And plenty of prayers for your family through this all.
You have a wise husband. He said: there is a path forward, and he is so right. Take hold of those words. Praying for you as you navigate this. Be Still and know that I am God.
My mom had Epilepsy she took medication to control the seizures. They do have to find the right combination to keep the seizures under control. My mom did very well very few seizures. She worked full time with the State of Maryland for over 30 years. Lived a normal life. Nothing stopped her.😊
Megan, it just breaks my heart watching your face as you and Josh explained everything. My sister went through this exact scenario with her 8-month-old son last summer. It was such a horrible, terrifying few weeks waiting for a diagnosis and just hoping that the meds would work. Just like you, she followed her maternal instinct and insisted on having her son seen and evaluated by multiple docs, and he has been seizure-free for over a year now because of it. You guys are WONDERFUL parents and advocates for Fletcher, and I am truly thinking of you every day as you navigate this!
I don’t even know you personally but I just want to give you a hug. That mom anxiety when our babies are sick is horrible. Praying everything gets better soon stay strong mama!
Megan and Josh you are loved. Your family is loved. Community is everything in an emergency. Take one day at a time until you find your new normal. Praying 🙏
I was a pediatric nurse for many years and can empathize with your fear and anxiety. It’s hard to trust in God when things are out of your control. But, your Bible verse is a great one to cling to. Our God has great plans for little Fletcher and he will not be harmed. Prayers continue for your entire family. Hope Fletcher is still improving. Hang on to Josh and to your faith. God has got this!
I have adult seizures that started last winter, I see them as an inconvenience. The only thing that changed in my life is I had to stop driving. My female cousin had seizures since she was a little girl. Now she is a grandmother. You just trust God. You are never alone.
Megan and Josh, my best friends husband has had epilepsy for most of his life. He is now turning 50, he has w great sense of humour, has worked full time so far, has been a scout leader and has adopted a son. The only thing that he is not able to do is drive. A good life is ahead for Fletcher.
Kids are so stinkin resilient. They teach us everyday, if only us parents can find how to be half as much so. Hoping you find your path forward and through for Fletcher quickly. And if doctors cannot offer attentive and expert care locally, CHOP is annoyingly far away but such an amazing resource to have so near.
This reminds me of Jehoshaphat in 2nd Chronicles. He and all the people are in danger of the other armies. They gather together to praise God and cry out to him. The whole chapter is so good but eventually it says - ”Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”“ 2 Chronicles 20:12 NIV - just love the comfort in being able to approach God and say “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”
Praying for your family. I'm glad you have such strong family, friends, and community support. You are such good parents! You got your son to the hospital and it sounds like he he receiving excellent medical care. I've had students with the same medical diagnosis and they are doing very well. They are full-tilt energetic and learning and growing and having fun. I hope that gives you hope for your son's future, knowing that he is not alone, and will be capable of fulfilling all God's plans for him and dreams he has for himself.
I’m so sorry. 😭 I can see the pain yall are going through. Yall have been in my thoughts over the last weeks. Praying for yall and praying for Fletcher. 🩷
Precious Fletcher…praying for his healing…Josh and Megan you are so brave to share your hearts and your lives with us…Your honesty and love shines through..I’m praying for Fletcher and all of your family.
I'm so sorry you're going through this. It's a very scary and challenging time. My grandson had a seizure a year ago, after turning 2. He had a fever and all the sudden he was seizing. He seized for 5 mins. Terrifying doesn't describe the feeling. A nurse lives 2 doors down from us, so I ran screaming for her and she took him immediately and tried to calm us as we waited for the ambulance. We had a lot of people praying. It took a couple hours for him to come around and the er staff were incredible. We pray it doesn't happen again, but any sign of fever and we have to medicate him. I know this is a very hard time and I will not stop praying for full healing. You are wonderful parents and God is right there with you.
Keep this in mind. I was estranged from my daughter and grandson. He was about 5 years old at the time. I was so sad and crying in prayer to Jesus to please protect my beautiful boy. Suddenly my spirit heard the Lord say, OUR beautiful boy". It reminded me that Jesus loves my grandson so much more than even I do. He is in control of the life of your beautiful boy too.
Praying for your family. I work in the medical field and I know that it is frustrating at times. Lots of waiting on tests and meds and such. GODS got you and your family. He is an awesome God.
Watching this as we just finished discharging our 39 week old twin girl from her 3 week NICU stay. It’s been such a hard 3 weeks. Can SO relate to your feelings of anxiety, tiredness, the craziness of finding care for your other kids while trying to be there for your kid in the hospital, feeling alone in the hospital like no one understands, all while being surrounded by an amazing church community- it’s all SO hard. Normal feels so far away. Will be praying for you all. Everything will eventually become a distant memory.
We have been praying since the first news. Praying that the Lord holds you up, gives you comfort and wisdom for doctors. Praying you get answers and for healing. Our God is mighty. And He loves us!!!❤
My grandson was diagnosed with Epilepsy when he was a few months old, he is still on his medication, does well in school and plays sports, loves his golf! Prayers for your family.
I’m praying for you all! The scriptural verse of Isaiah 55:8-9 “ my plans are not your plans, nor are your ways my ways…” is such a great Biblical verse! May God give you strength in this hard unknown time for Fletcher and you all! Philippians 4:13 “ I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” God knows all about our broken hearts! May He pour out grace and more grace each day to you!
Oh Megan ....... i cried watching this as i felt the heaviness of the burden you are both carrying. God is our healer and we are continuing to pray for answers regarding Fletchers health and for peace for you all. Thanks for the update.
I'm glad that your community is holding and caring for you. Josh, you seem like such a pillar of strength and your attitude/outlook is so good. I hope you aren't forgetting to take care of yourself, too. As a mama, I can't even imagine being in your shoes. For what it's worth, someone close to me has epilepsy with the same type of seizures as Fletcher, and they were able to get it managed eventually. Love, strength and blessings to you and your beautiful family.
Oh Megan, I feel for you. My 7 year old son had one seizure last summer while we were on vacation half way across the country and it still affects me. Prayers for your whole family. 🙏
It's great that you had an answer soon. Our son was 8 months old when he started having seizures and no meds worked. It wasn't until he was in 3rd grade when they did a 3 day EEG and found seizure activity but they still don't know what kind of seizures he has. Praise God he's doing good now but still has them. I know it's so scary in the middle of everything. I'm praying for y'all! ❤ Just remember you are the only advocate for him and you know him best! Remember God Loves y'all ❤
Listening to your story brought back a flood of memories of when my son started having seizures. I understand your pain and the helplessness you feel. Please don't ever blame yourself or try and figure out what you could have, should have done. Don't beat yourself up, it is what it is. You have an amazing husband, a great support system and a strong belief in God. It will get better and the doctors will find the best medicine for Fletcher. I'm praying for you and your family. One day you will look back and realize all the love and amazing people you have in your life because of Fletcher. At least I do because of my son Robert. ❤ It will get better.
You are so strong. We had a scare like that when my daughter was nine months old, and we spent four days in the hospital with her. Turns out that it was a thing that she would grow out of, and she's fine now, but wow. Scariest four days of my life. I know you know, but God is with you and your family. Love always. 🌷
Thank you for giving this update even though it was hard to do. I know a lot of us have been waiting to hear. Praying for you and your family. One of my daughters was in the hospital multiple times at 8 years old due to appendicitis and a terrible infection after 2 surgeries. We got through it because of our church family. I had 4 kids younger than her at the time and 1 older. I had to take the baby to the hospital and have friends watch the other ones. People came and cleaned our house, one lady did all of our laundry twice! They brought food, diapers, so many things. It was a huge blessing. Honestly the house cleaning and laundry were even better than the meal deliveries.
I will continue to pray for Fletcher and for each of your family who is dealing with this scary time; even though your other children don't grasp what's going on, I'm sure they are affected by the changes in life. Bless you as you navigate such a big challenge.
Prayers for your whole family. My mom had epilepsy. She lived a long, very normal life with medication, worked a high profile job, drove every day, everything. I pray you can feel hopeful.❤
We are praying for you guys. You are going through a very hard time, praying for healing for Fletcher, and for peace for you guys. So encouraging to hear about the support of community and how you are trusting God. We are here in Lancaster as well, we understand! we have been going through a journey ourselves. Our 3 year old now 4 year old little girl was diagnosed with liver cancer the day before Thanksgiving last year . We are so grateful for community and for the trust we have in God to help us through. It is so encouraging to hear your story. Thank you. I know you are overwhelmed right now, we are here if you ever would like to talk. It is so encouraging to talk to others that have been through similar experiences.
Sorry you are going thru this . Sending prayers to your family. This is a great teaching tools for mom and dads. We as parents have an intuition with our kids and Josh's spirit was calling to him to take notice.. It took me 3 years of pushing the medical system to listen to me about what I was seeing with my son (his seizures were very quick and impossible to video) I was dismissed, called crazy and I continued to push for help.. My son was diagnosed with seizures and brain cancer this year.. Make sure you get an MRI. As seizures is the first sign of more going on.
I will be praying for your family my daughter has LGS it’s a form of epilepsy and I completely experienced feeling the way you felt my daughter was on keppra and it completely changed her behavior and we were able to get her off of that one she is completely on 2 different meds but once we found the right meds she is thriving my daughter goes to Hershey and has a very good pediatric neurologist Megan I felt alone when I experienced this with my daughter but I want to let you know u are not alone there is a hole community out we are all here for you and your family 💕
Most important, you have each other. I love how you are together with this. A medical issue with my son caused my husband to blame me. And it turned out to be a medical issue. Praying for your love to grow through this ❤.
Seizures are so scary and unnerving. I had a toddler have a seizure during nap time when I worked in daycare and I was alone in the classroom. Thankfully everything was fine, but it was still unsettling. You guys are not obligated to share any of this with the world if it’s too upsetting for you. Keep trusting in Jesus. 🙏
Oh Megan. That’s just so hard!!! Praying for you and your family and I hope you can continue life normally. I had fever seizures when I was younger. I must have given my mom a fright every single time I can’t even imagine.
Megan, I don’t know if you will see this message and maybe someone has already mentioned this but maybe have him checked for Lymes? My Dad, after a hunting trip had seizures for the first time in his life. After years of doctors and medicine they discovered lymes and traced it back to that hunting trip and a tick bite. And the seizures were a symptom of the tick bite! Praying for you and your family!!
Yes, that can be the cause too. I know of a few people who actually have Lyme and it’s been hard, but they’re okay and the seizures can be caused by that. Hugs to you and your family❤️
Megan. I'm just watching this today and crying and praying over the fear of this unknown. Josh is right, there is a path forward. God knows the path, just take the night right step. Loving your family all the way from Keizer, Oregon. Been loving you and your family for about 4 years. It IS so humbling to receive help during these times. Let people love you the way you ALWAYS have loved them prior to this. You are an inspiration to me!!❤ I'm currently healing from knee surgery and my kids come back home Sunday. I'm going to be mom-ing from the couch where my leg must stay straight for a month. You pray for me and I'll pray for you.😊❤
When my daughter was in the ICU three years ago my friend gave me plaquers that had EXODUS 14:14 on them "The Lord will fight for you, you only need to be still". I know this is scary, and very lonely right now but it does get better a I promise. (A medical mom of 5 years who travels two hours every 8 weeks for specailist appointments)
You are so so so so lucky to have friends who care and cook for you and are there for you. So many do not. My family members have SO few people who help. It's heartbreaking.
Oh Sweet Momma, I am so very sorry Fletcher is struggling with seizures. My eldest has had epilepsy since she was two (she’s 37 now). Hang in there with him. You are doing wonderful in a very frightening and challenging time. Praying for Little Fletcher and discernment of the doctors to find the proper medical protocol. Please take care of yourself!❤
So sorry about this happening to your son! 😢I hope you will see my comment: I have a family member who had epilepsy from a young age. On all the meds and 7 x brain operations. What the Lord used to heal him was the KETO DIET. It is actually mainly used with children, as they respond best to this. But the Dr saw this as the last resort. Which I wish was used when he was younger. Kath Megaw in South Africa is the dietitian who helped with the eating plan. With this diet the brain cools down and heals itself, as all sugar is removed. Sticking with it for atleast 3 months will show if the diet will work with a patient. I will be praying for you all!❤
Ketogenic diets have been used to treat very difficult to control seizures for decades, that’s where the keto diet came from! But for seizures it must be followed very strictly and is quite a burden for the family, although often effective. There are many things to try first and I will pray for direction and peace as you navigate those choices. I’m a PICU nurse and have seen all of this first hand, May the prayers of many lift you up and the arms of God carry you! These times of nearness to the Lord are precious, and feeling His love through His people is a treasure. I just spent a month in the hospital before/after giving birth and experienced much of the same and it is life-changing when you receive such support. I’m glad you have that!
Praying for your family, for peace and good answers. I have friends with epilepsy that have lived wonderful lives. Be encouraged. Met you through Minimal Mom.
When my son was 14 we saw some big concerns about his health, physically and mentally. We went to our doctor, and we're immediately referred to specialists. It was a gruelling time, my kids are my world. He's now 18 and learning to navigate life as an autistic person with some other diagnosis on top of that. That time was HARD. But let me tell you, seeing his successes in life is amazing. I tear up with JOY when I see him thrive. He just graduated highschool and I've never cried so many happy tears. And I cried a lot during that time of our lives. There is another side to this.
Josh what a gift you are to your family. Your strength and understanding and faith AND intelligence is so impressive. Prayers to you and your family as you navigate through this challenge.
My daughter had seizures for one month and then they suddenly stopped. We never found out what caused it. I just plead the Blood of Jesus over her and that nothing from the enemy was allowed on her little life. God is faithful through EVERYTHING!
You have so many people lifting you all up. I know this is so difficult to go thru. Children are amazingly resilient and he ìs a strong boy. I will keep praying for all of you.
Until you go through something like this, you don't realize HOW much other peoples prayers mean. Never discount anything you do/say to someone going through a difficult time as being too small or insignificant. Just knowing others care and are praying for you means so very much. I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers.
Megan- I’m right below you in Baltimore and I was where you are 5 years ago. My daughter was having HUNDREDS of seizures a day and we have control now. We’ve been to MANY seizures docs.. happy to talk with you about hospitals, etc. It will come. It will. Praying for Fletcher, you and your whole family. God is close to the brokenhearted ❤
Your life update is both moving and deeply inspiring. It's incredible to see how you’ve navigated through challenges with such grace and faith. Your story is a testament to resilience and the power of staying hopeful, no matter how daunting the journey may seem. It’s clear that, even in the toughest times, your faith and strength shine brightly. Thank you for sharing your heartfelt journey with us. And I am Floating Village Life.
Prayers coming from Maryland! We were up seeing Daniel last week, and I was so hoping I would "run into you", it was a wonderful vaca day for us. God bless you all and praying God with put the right medical people in your path.

Thanks for being here.❤
I'm sure they did a full tick panel and checked his strep titer panels, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Just to rule out PANDAS. Will be praying!
I am thinking the same thing. At least have him tested to rule it out.
Agreed! I live in Northern Canada where Ticks were not seen until recently. My friend and I have both been bitten in the past year. The weather is MUCH warmer than normal and ticks are thriving. I would definitely get checked.
“There’s a path forward and there’s a path through it. We just need to find that path.” -Josh
😭❤️ such great perspective!
He is such a good leader for his family.
That is a beutiful saying, Bless you all and will be praying
Josh balances Megan so so well
Josh Thank you for saying this. We are having our own health uncertainty right now. While waiting on my results I told my husband life goes on, I'm going to live what I have left to the fullness. Good days and bad. Thanks again Josh.
I loved this quote as well - it really stuck with me
I might be Jewish but I know "the will of God will never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you" with so much love and constant prayers for you all...someone in Georgia loves you. Peace to you, in all you do... 🤲🩵
Amen
A few thoughts after watching this:
1. Yes praying for your family
I was coming here to say….Megan you have a treasure in Josh!!!! Continuing to pray for y’all!!❤
Amen, and amen 🙏
That’s a good word
Amen!
She did a shameless outfit plug and a day out with Evonnie before her “terrible news” 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Please watch healing journeys by Andrew Wommack ministries. See how God heals. Amazing testimonies.

Prayers to your family on this long hard road
Please don’t mistake the likes, I wish there was a hug button I could click instead. Praying for you all!
We had a foster son who had very bad seizures and was put on medication. He lives a very normal life. Your son is going to be fine.
No offense but you aren’t his dr and can’t say that. Every case is different and some people aren’t fine
Continuing to pray for you all!
"Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning." Psalms 30:5 ❤
A few years ago my husband had a traumatic brain injury, one of my go to passages was Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, and ever present help in trouble.
Josh you have such a calm and reassuring demeanor. I admire your calmness and faith. Praying for you all!
I could not get through this without his strength.
Yes he does; what a wonderful husband and father. Sending you all big hugs!! ❤
PS- I want to have a girls day with Evonnie 😍
@@MeganFoxUnlockedyou are like me. I don’t do well in things concerning my kids or now grand kids.
Josh is a good man❤
Josh, your godly humility brought me to tears.
Praying for you all. I'm an RN, a christian, and Mama of 5 grown kids. God is always in control.
I'm so sorry. Yes praising God for modern medicine.
Hugs and prayers to you and your family and YES the family of God is wonderful..lean on them as I’m SURE you will be there for others in the future as you are able.
We know who holds tomorrow! God bless Fletcher, God bless your family!
Look into the ketogenic diet for treatment of seizures!!@@MeganFoxUnlocked
Have friends who took their little boy to CHOP with good results all seizures stopped.
As a seizure momma I understand, praying for you all !!!! There are so many of us mommas walking this road of agony for our Special Ones
My daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy at 4 years old she is now 35. Sending prayers 🙏🏻🩷
That's A great Bible verse!
Your daughter is quite the little artist! YOU are such a good mama!
Praying for healing., wisdom , and strength for your family. Know you are being held in His arms and many are lifting you up to the Lord.
Megan and Josh, I cannot fathom your distress. I am praying for you and all your children. Hugs to you all.
I have adult seizures that started last winter, I see them as an inconvenience. The only thing that changed in my life is I had to stop driving. My female cousin had seizures since she was a little girl. Now she is a grandmother. You just trust God. You are never alone.
If you get anti-epilepsy medication that stops your seizures you'll be able to drive again.
Check for Lyme disease……praying for you, Josh is such a good dad💖
The whole chapter is so good but eventually it says -
”Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”“
2 Chronicles 20:12 NIV
- just love the comfort in being able to approach God and say “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”
♥️

Amen! Well said!!❤
This section of scripture has meant a lot to my mom.
I've been going through a lot in my own life and this passage has been incredibly helpful spiritually for me. Thank you for sharing that one!
On our church (in FL) prayer list since the first instagram I saw. Our prayer team is praying for your whole family and will continue.
5:31 You have amazing drawing skills! I love doodling as well! ✏🤍
Praying for your family. I work in the medical field and I know that it is frustrating at times. Lots of waiting on tests and meds and such. GODS got you and your family. He is an awesome God.
That verse got me through my first pregnancy after two losses. It is powerful, and I'm glad you have it to cling to. Sending prayers, love, and light
Prayers lifted for the Fox family. I love seeing your Unity Megan and Josh ❤
I’m praying for you all! The scriptural verse of Isaiah 55:8-9
“ my plans are not your plans, nor are your ways my ways…” is such a great Biblical verse!
May God give you strength in this hard unknown time for Fletcher and you all!
Philippians 4:13 “ I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
God knows all about our broken hearts!
May He pour out grace and more grace each day to you!
Praying for you! My mom has had epilepsy for decades and as long as she takes her meds she's fine. So sorry you are having to experience this ❤
Oh Megan ....... i cried watching this as i felt the heaviness of the burden you are both carrying.
What a blessing it is to have Josh ❤
Josh you’re amazing support for her. You all are an inspiration.
Oh Megan, I feel for you. My 7 year old son had one seizure last summer while we were on vacation half way across the country and it still affects me. Prayers for your whole family. 🙏
Josh your strength is admirable. I can imagine your keeping Megan grounded and to stay positive. Sending love and prayers to you all ❤
It's great that you had an answer soon. ❤
Just remember you are the only advocate for him and you know him best!
Remember God Loves y'all ❤
God is able and willing to heal Fletcher! I pray that it happens quickly!
So sorry you and your family are going through this. It is scary but God is good, lean on him
You are so strong.
Praying for your mama heart that is hurting, as well as your sweet family.
🫂 Holding you all in my heart! ❤
Prayers for your little guy and both of you .
Praying for you Meggan, everything will be OK, we have a big God!
I admire the strength and positivity in your husband. Praying for your son.
Watching this and being teary eye. Thank you so much for sharing. I will have your baby in my prayers ❤
This was my thought also. Takes a long time for doctors wanting to test for it.
My seizures began after a tick bite as well. My cousins got epileptic seizures after being diagnosed with lymes disease.
Is there any chance he’s been exposed to mold in the house or elsewhere?
Thank you for updating your viewers. I'm 🙏🏻for you all!! God is in control and will give you strength and healing for Fletcher!!❤
Prayers for your sweet baby. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. God is still good. ❤
