As a muslim women I have a lot in common with you.
1) I come from a large family of 6.
2) I grew up in a traditional family where mom stayed home with us and dad worked.
3) I am in University trying to become a teacher.
4) I have such a bubbly happy personality and I hope to find a man that is calm and collected: I need to find a man like your hubby. You picked a good one.🤗
5) If I ever have a car I hope my husband takes care of it. I really do love to be treated like a lady.

Why do want a hubby like hers. I am married 16 years and one thing i have learned is that most marriages have problems it doesn't matter how perfect it seems. You believe in allah i believe in jesus. All i can say is pray for a loving and caring husband let allah grant you that. I will pray for you to get a wonderful hubby too.

We are Atheist and yet, this is so familiar to me and my husband. Goes to show that it isn't about religion, is about values and love for one another.
I am not mennonite. I am Orthodox Christian and I watch your channel because I love to see people who have faith. This world would be such a wonderful one if everybody would have faith. The most dangerous environment is one where people don't believe in anything, because even if one believes in whatever, one has inside that drive of finding the truth and God just gives it to you when you search for it. It's so wonderful that you both come from big families! How much love must there be because love multiplies and does not divide. You are such a cute couple and I wish you all the best, all that are needed for your family to grow respectful and God loving generations of people. XO ~ Catalina

I agree with you! I stumbled upon her videos a few months ago and my husband and I are both atheist but I absolutely love her videos. She has such a way with sharing her beliefs in an educational way and not a jamming jesus down your throat way! Shes just purely amazing
That's lovely statement Katt. Tolerance, respect, and acceptance of others what's truly important, regardless of one's faith. I have a dear, loving Muslim friend, I'm a life-long Christian and we find many similarities between our two faiths. We both live close to Lancaster County, PA and (before Covid 19) would go out to the area for shopping at Amish stores - great produce and baked goods! We once met up with a lovely Amish lady, chatted for a few minutes and realized we all love, honor and respect the same God, even though we worship and practice our faith differently. It was an eye-opening moment.

Just so you know, I don’t watch your channel because you are Mennonite. I watch because I respect you as a women. I watch lots of ladies who I want to support. I love how diverse the channels I watch are. I’ve learned lots of cool stuff from different women. There’s lots of cool chicks out there! My hubby and I take care of the cars together and have the best time. We laugh so hard when we work together. It makes the job more fun.

Me too! I'm actually a massive fan of 'Knorpp and South' channel which chronicles the lives of Mike & Megan Knorpp who are Mormon's with 9 children, 5 of whom are adopted from China. Anyways I kept getting recommendations for this channel everytime I watched one of the Knorpp's videos. I am neither Mormon or Mennonite myself, I was actually raised in an Anglican/Catholic household but I find it fascinating to learn about different religions and watch how different families live. 😊

As for our household we are pretty traditional. My husband works and I’m a SAHM. I do the house work and child care and hubby takes care of the car and finances. I have to constantly remind him the car needs cleaning tho lol. He’s gets around to it though ;)

One of your videos showed up in my feed today and I watched it...and kept on watching! You have the perfect personality and excitement for creating videos! The first video was regarding sewing - which I can do but don't really like - but you explained everything very well. The second one was where you responded to assumptions re the Mennonite "way of life". I was extremely impressed with you, your knowledge of the Bible, your explanation as to how you/your church chooses to interpret parts of the Bible, and your matter-of-factness. I really appreciated learning more about Mennonites. It's really no different than any other Christian church - each one is different, some more conservative, some more liberal, and each has its own traditions. You did an excellent job responding to our many assumptions! Keep doing what you're doing! You are very good at it! It looks like you're acquiring more new subscribers! I'll definitely keep watching!

Southern Baptist from Alabama here! I just LOVE you two! It’s so refreshing to see people of mennonite faith on here. I have a mother in law (or my second mama as I call her) that has a Mennonite background. My husband and I attended their church for many years before returning to my home church and I have such great memories of those people! She and my father in law are now members of our baptist church but she still wears her covering and before joining spoke at lengths with our pastor about how she wished to keep it and why and why she chose to still dress the way she did and he said were just glad to have you and you dress as you wish.

Am not a Mennonite, grew up in a Dutch Baptist congregation (the 1689 Baptist Confession of faith / Spurgeon kind of Baptist) ... yep, I'm Dutch.
Noticed that the Mennonites in America have stayed more close to their old roots than the Dutch people (female preachers, consecrating gay marriages, ecumenical/interfaith movement). Makes me wonder how you (as a community/congregation) think about those kinds of things. From where I stand with these things I think I'd sooner fit in with your people than the 'Doopsgezinden' as they are now called here.
I’m a proud pagan but love to learn other religions( just to be informed). I love how this channel is to the point, down to earth, and nonjudgmental! I grew up in the Bible Belt of the USA and I went to a catholic school with penacostal( spelling? It’s late😂) grandparents. I’ve been pagan for 10 years now. My best friend growing up is Buddhist. I worked at our local mall and Amish would come to buy fabrics and shoes. They never were willing to really talk and we don’t have a lot of mennonites in our area to even learn that lifestyle! So you can imagine how many wild stories and false facts were spread 😅 it’s refreshing to learn from someone firsthand and someone who is open to talking about it and squish those false stories and rumors!

Not Mennonite but my husband and I keep pretty traditional gender rolls. My husband washes both the cars. But I do the bookkeeping and bills. I studied accounting in university so it works for us that I’m in charge of that.
