Works perfectly, thanks Basic Redstone! I have one small addition to it: If you use an item filter, make sure that you keep one block space between the redstone from the filter and the redstone from the crafter. In my iron farm I didn't do that, which prevented to poppies to flow into the composter, breaking the storage system.
Occasionally crafts both iron nuggets and iron pressure plates in my iron farm. Edit: Design is fine. Turns out combining this with a hopper filter, you have to be careful the redstone torch that locks the hopper doesn't also extend to the crafter (sending it an unwanted signal to craft every time it locks the hopper). Letting the hopper come into the crafter sideways instead of from the top gives it an extra block sapace from the redstone torch. No more BS crafts.
Help Mine isn't working. I've built the autocrafter exactly as has been shown here in this vid but it isn't crafting repeatedly. Only once every time i try to set it up again :| Idk I'm doing something wrong?
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have tried to make something similar with repeaters but I could not get the timing right and it kept making nuggets and iron bars this is so much simpeler and works better
THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH. I had to tweak it a lot to work with my item filter but I finally got it to work after forgetting to place ONE Redstone Dust xD
Make sure you leave at least one block space between the redstone from the sorter and the redstone from the crafter, they can bite and break your storage system (it happened to me with my iron farm).
did you clicked the 9 buttons? if you want to craft block from ingots you don't need to click the buttons, if you want to craft nuggets from ingots you need to click 8 out of 9 buttons
I have the same issue. Unless you let the crafter fill completely with 9 stacks of 64 ingots. It will just start crafting nuggets, once it's only getting filtered one ingot at time.
I’ve got a pig man farm, so I’m thinking I will have one section that makes nuggets into ingots, which adds to the chest that’s already storing them, and then make a second one that crafts blocks. Will this work?
Just read this - built our gold farm to do exactly this. Burns extra stuff, takes gold ingots and nuggets and converts each until final output is gold blocks
@@jeffreylynch3889 ran into a lot of problems with this though, you have to have overload protection on the sorter, because when you afk on it for too long, the hoppers won't have enough time to get rid of all the swords with how fast it kills pigmen. great source of xp but it has broken so many times.
@@Woenkomat2 There are tutorials about that, it's pretty simple. Just make sure you keep a block space between the redstone from the item filter and the redstone from the crafter.
this doesnt work because full pwer is going throught the side of the compareter, so the output will allways be zero, unblock one of the slots in the side compareter and it will work fine
@ so I built an auto crafter using 2 observers and a composter. It seemed to be working fine but now it always sends a double pulse to my auto crafter resulting in nuggets almost every block crafted
If you have ingredients already in the crafter, take them out and let them flow back in and then it'll auto-craft, might be your issue hope this helps :)
Two observers will constantly be powering the crafter, so as soon as a single ingot is in the crafter it will craft nuggets. So yes, this is how to do it my friend.
@@Airsoft_Dude To change it back into ingots again...? what you say makes no sense to me. If you want to make blocks, you need the crafter to be entirely filled up, which requires a comparator circuit.

recommend setting the repeater delay by 1 so if items are coming in at the speed of a hopper the crafter can keep up without causing a jam
2 ticks?
thanks! I just connected two of these together for my gold farm and it autocrafts gold blocks now

just make an item filter for poppies and let the rest go into this

use item filter to sort them out
it works but the poppys from the iron farm keep on blocking it so it just gets stuck how could you prevent that?
