I read somewhere that a "smart guard" app giving sentry mode capability becomes available in the BYD store (in car) when you have the dashcam installed - did your car get this app available by now? I believe there was a BYD update after you made this video? I'll be following your instructions as soon as I get the car - camera already arrived 🙂
@@faenstull I'm, not sure I will be able to help you with that I'm afraid. I returned the car to the dealer a month ago. After 3x at the workshop in a total of 7 weeks I finally had enough of it. So now I'm driving a Skoda Enyaq Coupé 85 Sportline instead.
How many kw is your home charger and what max speed do you get? I have 22kw charger but only reached 5,5kw. Not sure if installation fault or if the charging curve is bad from 89-100%
I have a 22kW charger as well, but I'm limited to the 11kW with the triple phase (which is very common here in Denmark). The BYD Seal is limited to 11kW as well here in the EU, while China and other countries have a 7,5kW limit I believe it is.
Yes as said before, 11KW in triple fase wich is unusual. Almost all houses in Spain are one phase and that is 7kw.whatwever the case, your contract must be of 11KW.@@deserialized
I had a similar problem with my Huawei charger and the answer was a bad translation in the description of a parameter in the App. Do you speak Spanish, because I´m in Spain aswell @@deserialized

Nej, det virker kun ved kørsel lige pt.
Jeg har dog læst, at BYD arbejder på en kæmpe opdatering, så den får noget der minder om Tesla's sentrymode.
@Iddqd_84 sentry mode would be great
