My 2010 was broken before I bought it and was repaired using epoxy. Lasted me about a year. Price for this repair kit is a bit steep for a few bucks worth of parts, but still better than spending the big bucks on a whole new door panel, which has the same cheap plastic piece that will break again anyway. This repair is much stronger than OEM and may very well last a lifetime. Installation was easy as in this video. Worth the money for sure.
A description of the connections and disconnections that need to be made between the panel and the door would be helpful.

So there's a big assumption in this..in that it breaks at the hoop part. I bought this, got my door apart, and it had broken at the bend past the place where this mounts. So... while it should work with some breaks, it doesn't work with all of them.

The process of replacing the whole handle requires to remove the melted rivets. You replace these with very small/short screws that don't hold up well.

Dude, wtf. You can just buy a new handle. Why I’m the world you need to buy a whole new panel? Handle costs $30. Just RUclips replace c300 interior handle.
You can do that, but many have bought our repair kit after the screws that are supplied in the "handle replacement" kit rip out from the door panel. Everyone has options, some just like how we handle (pun intended) the situation.
