I first heard this song via a video someone made of them rehearsing it during a sound check, months ahead of when they actually recorded and released it. It was torture having to wait that long to hear the finished track. Listening to the soundcheck, you could just tell it filled the stadium with sounds of joy. The hair stood up on my arms and the back of my neck and I knew it was going to be something really special.
The Gibson Style U was a harp guitar produced by the Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Company from 1902 until 1925 the instrument that Jake is playing in this video is 100 years old ❤
