I was born in the 60's and have been a Zeppelin fan all of my life. Yes I know that Greta Van Fleet can sound like Zeppelin but to be perfectly honest, Robert Plant didn't have the range that this young man has. I think Gretta Van Fleet has superior vocals.

This whole album is a masterpiece! Broken Bells candlelight series a must! Stardust Chords is a favorite too. Josh pierces the soul with his lyrics and voice.

Chills and goosebumps. Josh is so emotional in the Candlelight Sessions performances, there are tears in his eyes sometimes. Jake is pure talent. Sam and Danny are super underrated. Love GVF!

Oh you're so right. I'm a lifelong rocker I'm 60 years old. My niece bought me tickets cuz she knew I loved Greta Van Fleet and I told her that I was going to be emotional because their music always makes me feel that way. The concert experience was transcendent mind-blowing amazing they're so good. And to be in a crowd of like-minded people the peaceful army if you will is such an amazing experience also.

Just the feel of the singing and the piano. And the music kinda feels like Tuesdays gone mixed with the intro to freebird. It just has that feel to it
Greta Van Fleet are in my opinion the cream of the crop in the modern age of rock. Keeping the old school vibe alive and they are getting better and better with every new project they release. They are heavy in my rotation 🔥🔥🔥

Dude, you’re not alone. Literally multiple times a month I find myself tearing up to a different GVF song. It pierces your soul. Every single aspect of their music is seemingly perfect.

Light My Love is definitely my fave!!!Tears Of Rain… Great song and the vocals are absolutely OUTSTANDING! But also, do yourself a favor and give When the Curtain Falls, The Weight of Dreams and Stardust Chords a listen along with Black Smoke Rising. Soooo many amazing songs from this band!!!

I’ve been a GVF fan since before their first album Anthem of the peaceful army was released. I was sooo excited for their Battle at gardens gate album that the first time I listened to it I legit balled my eyes out because my emotions got to me. The song that really got me was built by nations.. it was the first song I listened to that wasn’t a pre-released song. I was sobbing even though it’s not even close to a slow, emotional song. Their music is beautiful. My favorite band.

I cried when I first heard this song and it pushes tears up every time. And it's not sadness, or loneliness or despair - just a pure form of emotion evoked by this beautiful song. There is just something there. Magic.
I've been listening to them since 2020 when I discovered them by accident and yes their music invoked an emotional response that I have not had since October 30th 2001 when U2 did Madison Square Garden several weeks after the attacks on the WTC and made us all sing as one with them.
I had the extreme fortune of seeing GVF at Madison Square Garden on Sept 12th 2023, it was an experience that I will never forget its hard for a lot of people to understand what you feel as those lyrics are blasted at you hard and deep into your soul. After going thru the nightmare of COVID the things that I was a part of this was not just a concert, it was a means of releasing all the hurt from what went on and begin healing my soul. It took me three days to over come the emotional high.
GVF are not just four guys singing together they are the reiteration of Rock Gods that once shook the world with their vocals slamming us with their lyrics that made us love and celebrate life.
Honestly this reaction made me so happy! this song takes me to different places I absolutely love GVF and love when people who enjoy rock and roll agree and see the talent in these guys! ✨✨👏🏻🖤

I’m a year late on this reaction but I love it!! I got to see GVF live in Atlanta last November and it was awesome. They were on tour with Metallica and cage the elephant. But it was awesome to see all these Metallica fans reactions who have never heard of Greta van fleet. One guy said “who are these weird looking guys wearing pajamas” and then they played The Weight of Dreams (one you should check out) and the solo came up and that same guy looked at me and said “this band is legit”. And stood up and clapped the rest of the show. They’re awesome
