I'm so glad that them changing the major chord in the chorus to it's relative minor chord caught your attention! As a musician, subtle things like that give me life.

Thank you Evan for explaining it better! I am a DIY self-taught musician since I was 11, and don't have the technical way to express myself in reactions, just the instinct for it

I love the fact you mentioned one of Josh's vocal heroes, Joe Cocker... I have listened to all of your reviews... the heart of the Fleet is for everyone to interpret it and have it mean something different to each person. I'm super happy that you have discovered what The Peaceful Army has done so many times before, these guys are ethereal, honest, kind, Humble, talented, beautiful, Intelligent, Spiritual humans. It's why people are just drawn to them... I'm really happy you have found these guys and Welcome to the Peaceful Army. Hope to catch you at a show sometime.... until then Peace, Love, Unity & Equality my friend ✌🏼🤍🌍🤝🏻🎶

I might be way out on a limb here, but does anyone else catch that there might be references to other life forms in this song? I was just introduced to GVF about a month ago and as a 66 year old woman, (who lived thru the Zeppelin age) they are the best thing I have heard in a very long time. They just make me feel good. I am also a retired female vocalist so lyrics are really special to me. Such talent.

I loved the Wonder Years - awesome TV show! Jimmy Page played guitar on that Beatles cover by Joe Cocker. This song by GVF is very simple and sweet. Love hearing Sam on piano. Good reaction Mike. Now time to go back to their early stuff and check out more live material!

It does bring back some memories, that is true, at least for me it does.
I appreciate a good love song when im in the mood and this song specifically suits the album, great reaction, I saw that you reacted to Age of Man at the red rocks, I would like to see a reaction to Flower Power (Red rocks) as well, I think thats the most emotional song that I've seen them perform live, anyways, cool reaction and setup.

I love your review I think you're spot-on. For me the song spoke of self evolution, about letting go of past preconceived notions or ideas, past hurts and allowing ourselves to grow and change and move forward as human beings. A grand evolution as human beings maybe allowing ourselves to explore our own capabilities and the Beautiful Things We can achieve together as human beings. Making our world a better place to be in. 👍👍🕊❤💫
( the song reminds me of being a little girl and Waltzing with my father I miss those days)

What they changed up there was the chord progression. The melody would be what Josh is singing. You seem to notice all the things they would hope we would. The extra care and treatment of the piece. That's a sensitive ear and good feel for what you're listening to.

I really like your reactions and i would like to recommend another Greta Van Fleet Reaction: You need to watch the Lover, Leaver Live Version (Greta Van Fleet - Live at the Red Rocks) Amphitheater: Encore Part. This is just pure insane, Joshs Voice is so great and Jake doing "things" with his Guitar, this is just truly amazing. Lover Leaver in the Encore Part: 00:00 - 13:56 then they are playing Highway Tune (13:57 - 19:07). After that they are playing the end of Lover Leaver with some more experimental parts (19:07 - 27:22).

@@Yeedeed Oh ok, well i would recommend everything uploaded by Greta Van Fleet, but i think i got something that is not GVF. I can totally recommend Måneskin - Zitti E Buoni Live Euriviosion 2021. This is an italian Rock Band and they won the Eurovision Song Contest this year. The ESC is probably the biggest music contest in Europe. Each contry gets points by jury and by public vote. Maneskin won, because they got so many points by the public, which is very surprising for by, because it's Rock and Rock is not that popular anymore sadly. I don't know if it is the same in the US, but in Europe, they are so hyped at the moment, that i kinda see a chance for a comeback of Rock to the mainstream maybe. Yeah, so sorry for that long answer and that it took so long to answer, but i hope it's not too late and that this performance is possible to react to.
