    Whoa I never would’ve guessed that’s steamed fish! It looks almost like a Thai tea creme brûlée cuz of the presentation heh

    i love thai food because they favour cilantro heavily and i just love the way it garnishes the dish its just a potent combination for aroma :D

    the good thing about where i live is that 2 doors down from my apartment literally is one of the best thai food in my suburb haha/ or area :D - dont make me go down there i am still full from lunch lol.. yes i love the name crying tiger.. flying bok choy (i just made the last one up)

    Looks like you went to Flavortown. The crab and shrimp you ate at the beginning looked particularly mouthwatering. I've never seen breaded fried crab before.

      We sure did! We love how the Thai food in this neighborhood keeps the spice, flavor and funk profiles on point. That soft shell crab is really good - we love being able to eat it just like that without digging out the meat

      Yes! Our good friend who cooks Lao food taught us so much about the cuisine. Really interesting how papaya salad and laap (larb) are from Lao influence. This one didn’t have mint, but do love that flavor. Have even tried alligator laap at a Lao restaurant in Washington, DC before - really good!

    Watching this for the 3rd time and finally get to comment! Thai food is one of my favourite cuisine (Sue) Fresh lemongrass salad with shrimp sounds so refreshing! Haven't tried Pad kee mao in my life, that looks like a great dish! Looks like fried keuy teow, but Im' sure it taste different!

    Ground pork dishes is some of Nabol's favorite things. I would probably like that steamed fish dish. For a second there, I thought it was a plan. Hehe And we would love that plantain wrapped dish for sure.

      Banana leaf! If you forced us to choose, it may be our favorite too. Galangal is a more potent type of ginger with a really unique flavor. Delicious!

      Absolutely! Love the marinade they use and that dipping sauce. Those two are great noodle dishes, though definitely partial to pad kee mao

      Pad thai wrapped in omelette when we were in Thailand changed that dish forever for us haha.

    WtF! Soft shell curry crab!?!?!? Dude first time i seen this!! This is so freaking 🔥 looking!!! That shrimp salad looks outstanding.. I dont think i seen these type of thai dishes before

      Dude! That chu chee crab soft shell crab is such an awesome dish - a must try here! That lemongrass salad with shrimp was really flavor packed. This spot has some real unique gems
