Yes! Our good friend who cooks Lao food taught us so much about the cuisine. Really interesting how papaya salad and laap (larb) are from Lao influence. This one didn’t have mint, but do love that flavor. Have even tried alligator laap at a Lao restaurant in Washington, DC before - really good!
