- Demonstrating Hand exercises with Patient Inder Pal. He had a ICA and MCA Brain Hemorrhage On April 2014. Initially his speech was gone, during acute onset followed by hemiplegia on right side.
He is under going Physiotherapy sessions with Prodyut Das for last 2 months and has improved drastically. His right leg is totally normal now, with near normal gait pattern. The right arm had zero muscle power, when we started and now you can see the difference.

Excellent! He uses low-cost equipment effectively. I'll be applying some of these with my Mom who just had a stroke at 95. Only her right hand and arm appear to have been affected. Physical therapy works wonders for all ages. Thank you for this video!

best video for stroke physiotherapy on you tube....is very helpful..we stay in a remote area where no proper neuro physiotherapist is available..this video is very helpful..please post a similiar video for lower limb as well..it will be of great help..

It's been 3 months now , he's still weak but walking and getting more feeling on his left hand. Physical therapy has really helped him.

Every time I try to some help for my son so I can help him everyone some how shown an advance video I would love from someone to show a video from where everything started my sons left arm and left leg at this point not moving can someone help me so I can help him to get where this stage so he can do all that thank you

With Due Respect...Aren't the exercise patterns and specially the ball one is increasing the flexion synergy in the upper limb? kindly provide proper information including which also mention is the patient is in flaccid or spastic phase at the time of this treatment. people are following this treatment without knowing that there is much more to this treatment not just making the patient do active exercises and count.

+Chandan K. Barman when I was still in inpatient intensive therapy I was put into a device called a standing frame for increasing amounts of time which encouraged the return of that limb as I was completely paralyzed on my left side at first & in a wheelchair but, I now walk & have great endurance & stamina

My grandmother got brain stroke and she gate left side paralyse. She is 90+. Before stroke she was able to use her both legs and hands normally. But after that she is struggling to move her both left leg and hand. Can you please advice me what kind of physiotherapy treatment to be give. Please

My dad had a stroke... why when he lay down his leg that was affected straighten but when he stands up it like bends and it is hard to straighten?.
It is due to Hamstring tightness

How did you take care of the hip instability? because these exerecises seem to work on isolated shoulder stability exercises without including core stability, this effects the gait cycle greatly if not approached from a standing position

Hi, my husband is 28 and had a stroke last year. His right hand leg and speech got affected. I really need your guidance. Please help me. Everyone says he is young he will recover. He is highly motivated but since lockdown i dont know what to do. Please advise your contact info. His hand is very weak and in legs he is walking but with severe hyperextention and ankle spasticity.
I don't know why the doctors say that exerting will heal your hand when my hand is not healed till today.

+Moven Masss no, these are exercises to facilitate recovery of range of motion, I'm a ruptured brain aneurysm survivor but, my resultant hemiplygia is much more extensive

Hello! The exercises shown in the video have been developed based on patient's problem and evidence based practice. It includes -
Range of motion exs for grade 3 muscles (against gravity)
Suspension therapy for grade 2 muscles (gravity eliminated)
Resistance exercises for grade 3+ muscles
Coordination/frenkel exercises to improve fine motor and gross motor skills
Exercises incorporating functional tasks for better outcome
PNF pattern
etc
Please note this is just a 15 min video of exercises demo. There are many more exercises that was done on this patient.
Fortunately there was no spasticity, otherwise I would have added stretching exercises and special techniques to break the synergy patterns. I would advise to read -

Hello this is how the rehabilitation stroke recover??? I have the stroke too but I when the physical therapy they not help me do anything they just give me 5,7 different stuff let me pick up done and go home, so that's is not right for stroke treatment correct!!! Can you recommend where do I have to go please so they can help my finger straight and open please my finger very weak they can't even hold anything 😢😢 thank you so much

hello my name is john thomas, I had a stroke 12 years ago at age of 20. I did physical therapy for 2 years after with no improvement. I screwed up and let that defeat me, a very big mistake. I have renewed motivation now due to some problems in life I cannot solve like this. which is why I've been constantly working on loosening the tendons in both arm and leg. My tendons are super tight but I am making progress,. it isn't easy but anything in life worthwhile usually isn't easy to achieve right. I decided to post this hoping to give you enlightenment about not giving up like I did. Use your good hand and arm to help move your fingers and hand. that should help some, try as many different movements you can think of. every moment helps. believe me these last 12 years have been horribly miserable and would not wish that upon my worst most hated enemy. also remain positive believe it or not it does make a difference. best if luck to you and every other stroke victim.

Shw is overweight and she started moving her leg and arm but from the main joint but I'm worried what to do nwxt. ,😭 if anyone knows pls answer me. tejinder kaur Not every person with stroke has speech problem. But yes when there is a problem with speech, you could contact with a logotherapist.
