    Wow that is a monster card! I really want the Seaver and Gibson proofs from 1968 with the pictures showing them as lefties and a different photo. Will probably never get them but these are on my dream card list. This card is very similar to those and is an amazing pick-up. Definitely one to be proud of. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

      Wow I’m not familiar with those two!

    • @Brad-mj3tg
      @Brad-mj3tg 6 дней назад

      Will not let me post links. But if you google 1968 Gibson proof you can see a picture in an SCD article called Topps proofs part 2 and there is one for a King’s ransom on EBay. if you google 1968 Seaver proof there is a Net 54 thread that shows it. The interesting thing is that neither is a reverse negative as both pretended to be lefties to fool the photographer. Unfortunately Topps caught it and went with more boring pictures for their 1968 cards. I think you would enjoy seeing them.

    Great addition to the collection. Put Maris in the hall. The homerun chase, the asterisk, two MVPs, the impact that 61 season had on pop culture. Can the stat nerds just let one or two actual famous players enter the hall of fame every once in a while?

  • @cardboardandplastic9267
    @cardboardandplastic9267 6 дней назад +2

    That was a two white glove card. Roger Maris should be a HOF player, even if the stats are far from it. His 61 HR season is still talked about today and he won back to back MVP's over Mantle. It is the Hall of FAME! How can you not include players like Maris and Larsen who are talked about 60 years after they stopped playing. That is famous in my book.

    • @MrJmangini
