Using Remet RP-300 Firewood Processor

Using Remet RP-300 Firewood Processor. I finally got to try out my new toy for processing smaller diameter trees quickly into split firewood. We did a quick comparison and found the RP-300 cuts and splits about 2.8 times faster than my traditional PALAX firewood processor that uses a chainsaw blade to cut to length then hydraulics push the wood through the splitter. This new machine cuts and splits in one smooth motion that is very fast. I love it.
It looks like the Palax ( which is great) averages about 4.5 seconds per cut and the RP 300 is slightly less than 2 seconds per cut!
I hope to set it up next to the Palax, and cut every tree down to the smaller diameter then show the rest through the RP 300 while I start with the next tree. Stay tuned for the whole setup!
