And then they do crazy stunts like when they are cleaning the roof at the end. That is still a signifant fall. Same with the jumping off the skip when loading those branches. I am sure these guys are quite safe goind the tree work, but when you mitigate high hazards all day, it is very easy to forget about low hazards.
Many people think that arborist charge too much for their work, but they don't realise the skills these guys have and the cost of the equipment they use
I love this work. I'm 70 now. I was doing this work in Anchorage in my teens and 20s. All with spikes and ropes. It was a kick..... Watching you brought back some of my best years. Thanks
The laughter, the smiles the professionalism all at the same time... You really made something special here man. It's been a real pleasure watching you grow and meeting the people you introduce to us. Thank you so much for sharing this snippet of your life, you don't know the effect it has on people, it's good. Life gets really hard sometimes but it's helpful to know that this exists in the world.
@GuiltyofTreeson Ditto At first, I was watching the channel where you started. Then moved over to follow your journey. You have come a long way, but have grown with incredible experiences.
I’m a home owner. My neighbors helped me cut down two trees . One on my yard and one on hoa property. The person in charge had a log cutting business years ago. Experience sure did help and we were safe. You are da MAN! Love your videos!!!!! Will you be we bring your coffee back?
Another great job. The three of you make a great team. I love how you explain all the equipment, and why you are using what you are using, and hearing why you think one thing may be better than another..
You , Randy and Kevin are an amazing group of professional arborists your watch in action. Your meticulous attention to detail and safety while working is exemplary! I wish all arborists didn’t work with such extraordinary attention to detail, as all of you do! Always a pleasure to watch you and your associates in action. The quality of the finished product that you consistently turn out, is outstanding!!! You and Randy have a wild sense of humor , which makes your videos all the more enjoyable to watch! Keep up the good work Jacob!
Impressive as hell. When you know, you know. I'm certain the homeowner took a huge sigh of relief after seeing the first pieces come down in a controlled manner.
Judging by the state of the roof over the back porch, I'd wager the reason they were there in the first place was that the first pieces came down on their own days or weeks ago.
I remember doing tree work with my buddy for the first time and he’s like hold this rope and I was like bro I’m not going to be able To hold this nd it was light as a feather. Science of rigging is fascinating. Shit blew my mind.
Randy is great to have around for training purposes. I think the new guys just being able to see ya'll communication style is not just good for the jobs but also the channel.
so nice to know that im not the only who still gets freaked out rigging tops especially in the wind. Today i was in a big ol" soft maple and it was crazy windy and i felt great until it was time to take the top. my rope guy might not have been as perfect as Randy but he did a damn good job and made me feel 100 times better when all i had left to do was chunk down the firewood and drop the stick! saty safe out there brother your videos keep me going after days like today working entire Sundays knowing theirs a full week ahead of me!
I really appreciate that you are open about pricing! It’s really helpful to be able to compare my pricing with someone like yourself! You’re killing it. Keep it up and stay safe
Hey guys great job.i used to cut paperwood with my dad I'm 59 now and my dad is gone ( passed on) videos like this I really get enjoyment out of.thank you guys from tennessee.
Tree climbers are the toughest people I kno . I’ve got a chance to help a few on the jobs and just they way it all works and skill is a great experience. Evryone needs to be in sync to make it happen and when you got good people it’s deff makes job easyer and safer . My hats off to all y’all guys
Enjoyed the video. Nice working together. Smooth operation. Limbs down and chipped. Top off and chipped. Chunks down with no damage. Kudos to all! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I never wood of thought I could spend an hour of my life watching a tree come down. I will say the climb up seemed the scariest, I kept picturing him cutting that rope!
I did a small oak trimming job once a couple years ago after watching some videos like this and getting some climbing gear. I used only manual tools and managed to get every limb down safely by myself just using pulleys and the belay on my harness. It was by far the most fun I have had doing manual labor, and the thought and planning that went into it all was very satisfying for my autistic brain.
Man, after having a team take out a tree in our backyard and do a half ass job on cleanup, I gotta say props to you for going the extra mile and making sure the yard looks nice when you are done. That's such a big difference to not leave a bunch saw chips behind.
Love your videos, and the increasing production value! But i gotta say, Randy takes these videos to the next level. Your calm explanations of what you’re doing interspersed with his quips and humor is absolute gold.
Great job everybody - a difficult job made to look efficient and totally neat clean up - home owners need to be very happy about what you and your crew did - u and August a nd VTW are the only crews I keep up with - see you on the next one 🤓👍
I wore climbing spurs for 26 years and I wish I would have retired them after 10 years ( I destroyed my ankles and feet ihave had both knees TKR and had my 2nd toe on both feet amputated because they would actually cross over my big toes because I got in the bad habit of curling my toes when I would climb to take the pressure off my instep and try to put more force on my heels. Be careful the wear and tear you put on your body no matter how much you love your job it becomes an addiction especially when you own your own business and have a great group of guys that depend on you if I could turn back time I would have trusted my guys more I guess idk it's hard to pay someone to risk their life it's easier to always take the risk. I had 3 guys I could have trained and trusted but I just couldn't ever really stop until I couldn't do it anymore. Ps I do enjoy watching you work and trash talk it brings back great memories stay safe and dig deep guys
I’m a lifelong Puget Sounder and maybe only BC people and Redwood California people would know the sheer size of these Doug firs that grow here like weeds. Totally fair since you’re doing clean up too. While these massive firs are beautiful people need to give them space and not crowd the base with decorative gardens. Well done and keep up the great work. Be safe always!. ❤
Looking good Jacob! Can’t gag the chipper, that beast is eating just like the saws. Randy’s Ditch Witch is getting it, the new guy is running with both cans filled with saw dust. Well done boys😊
thanks for making the video, it was great including the editing. I'd forgotten how much I use to love doing this stuff... I remember the wind.... and hating the negative rigging....
Really great video. Hard conditions for sure. But successful and done to perfection... Drone driver - - - - great job, outstanding views... I see the neighbors coming out to check out the work.
I have a morbid fear of heights, here in Liverpool [UK] we have a huge tower [Saint Johns Beacon] it’s massive and every time that I walk under at and look up, it sends my loopy. I had to force myself to watch this amazing content. 👍👍👍
Wish you were down here by me, I'd love for you to take care of our giant tree. Amazing work, not rushing, and taking great care of what you are doing by ensuring everyones always safe.
Leaving a tall stump like that's a good idea. Here in North Carolina we have pelated woodpeckers which are something to see and they love these kind of stumps! Great job on this!
I dont even make 5k a month, but then again I also dont live on a property that could even remotely fit such a tree. I could instantly tell you are pros, that you love your job, and that you are well worth the cost. Hats off to you!
Videography was great, including drone and, rope and rigging close up, with Jake explaining knots and carabiners. I was surprised about heating with douglas fir. I thought fir was too sappy. Not much said about the wood chipper. Maybe you need more time before offering an opinion. The chipper did well on this job I think. Ditch Witch was perfect! Margin for error was about zero on this job. Great work not damaging customer's nicely maintained garden.
I'm impressed. I helped a "topman" (?) once and was impressed with his overview. that was a Popplar overhanging two neighbours. Not as restrictive as this fir. thank you for sharing
Got a good crew there. Keep on keeping everyone safe. Isaac, go easy on your knees dude. All those high jumps off od things (especially with a backpack blower) are going to catch up to you.
Thanks for telling us how much you are charging for the job, for the ones that can't do what you guys do it puts things in perspective
fuck id pay you more to remove that lady and keep the tree. Youve got chainsaws and all.
I think it's worth it. That's a lot of equipment, manpower and skill. The end result and clean up after was worth it.
that tree is very challenging, and the fact that they cleared everything up means it's a fair price.
Should be more... hazard pay is included 😊
I realize these kinds of trees don't grow in DC, but this would be a steal for $10k here
Randy MUST be fun to work with and he is also very caring. After every wood rig he would ask, "you OK?" I LOVE that.
Beautiful team!
I noticed that too!
professional for sure! these dudes are good at what they doo, and good at enjoying it! i wish i enojyed it this much
Totally agree! Having a good team is always key! Especially in this type of work 👊🏻
And then they do crazy stunts like when they are cleaning the roof at the end. That is still a signifant fall. Same with the jumping off the skip when loading those branches.

I accidentally hit the closed captions and every time the chipper was running it would say "music". Damn right it is! Play on brotha!
Haha that’s amazing
Priceless 👌 😂
😂😂😂😂 sweet music! I agree!👍
@SirensC3 yeah.. after a bit it sticks to ya. 🤔😆😂🤣👌👍
Haha nice!
idk why i got recommended a tree service company but the editing is phenomenal and was genuinely interested
You have put together a great fun team! I really enjoy the banter but the seriousness of the work! You’re the only tree removal group I watch! 13:49
Wow, thank you!
@GuiltyofTreeson Ditto
At first, I was watching the channel where you started. Then moved over to follow your journey.
You have come a long way, but have grown with incredible experiences.
same, don't understand how I ended up here, but better than many movies since '00!
Hey Jacob, hope you see this. At the end, thanking the boys/complementing them, is so so good. Can literally make someones day!
I noticed that also, absolutely a fantastic gesture!!
I’m a home owner. My neighbors helped me cut down two trees . One on my yard and one on hoa property. The person in charge had a log cutting business years ago. Experience sure did help and we were safe.
You are da MAN!
Love your videos!!!!!

Jake, Randy and Kevin are okay. But Isaac is obviously the star of the show. Everything would grind to a halt without that dude on site💪🏼😄
Impressive as hell. When you know, you know. I'm certain the homeowner took a huge sigh of relief after seeing the first pieces come down in a controlled manner.

To hold this nd it was light as a feather. Science of rigging is fascinating. Shit blew my mind.
They shouldve done it 20 years ago to be honest, but better late than never.
It’s always a fun video when Randy comes along! Y’all do beautiful work! I’m sure the client was pleased!❤❤❤
All right: Fancy videography, high winds, a drone and Randy’s dog! This video could NOT have been better!❤❤❤
Randy is great to have around for training purposes. I think the new guys just being able to see ya'll communication style is not just good for the jobs but also the channel.

3 guys, 3 trucks, a shredder, a trailer, a stump grinder thing, plus the rigging, difficulty, and all the extra shit? Seems more than fair to me.
Hey guys great job.i used to cut paperwood with my dad I'm 59 now and my dad is gone ( passed on) videos like this I really get enjoyment out of.thank you guys from tennessee.
GREAT PROFESSIONAL JOB. HOMEOWNER MUST BE VERY HAPPY‼️ Vinny 🇺🇸
That single rope with that chain so close gives me heart palpitations haha! Nice work.
Just made the exact same comment. Very scary. Slip, drop, rip and RIP.
just remember there's a steel core flipline below the block as backup, was totally safe imho
I really enjoy the two man banter. Yes, your trucks, your job, and you doing the damn thing.
Flat out impressive job . Thank you for your time that you take to share and teach as you go .
The camera work on this big job was excellent. Great video, thanks.
Might be the only 1 hour tree video I have watched and enjoyed every minute 🥰
This is a great crew. Always enjoy watching a team work well together, hard to find. God bless
Tree climbers are the toughest people I kno . I’ve got a chance to help a few on the jobs and just they way it all works and skill is a great experience. Evryone needs to be in sync to make it happen and when you got good people it’s deff makes job easyer and safer . My hats off to all y’all guys

It really is s dangerous job but you all make it look fun and easy. ♥️👍
I never wood of thought I could spend an hour of my life watching a tree come down. I will say the climb up seemed the scariest, I kept picturing him cutting that rope!
There must be a part of a mans mind that has developed alongside chopping down trees for millennia...
I did a small oak trimming job once a couple years ago after watching some videos like this and getting some climbing gear. Once again amazing work. Safe-Efficient-Effective Operation!! The reason this is my favorite subscription. Keep living the dream.
You guys are amazing to watch. That a tough job made to look easy. Professionals.
Watched in the UK. You guys think you're the A Team! Well you're not. You're the AAA Team. Absolutely amazing to watch. Thank you. ❤
Yes! Randy and his dog are back!
Yes Mandy randy is back baby!!!❤️❤️😎🤘🏻
I’m not sure why this is one of my favorite RUclips channels, but it is.
Fantastic teamwork & equipment for a fantastic job!!! Congrat's to all!
Great job everybody - a difficult job made to look efficient and totally neat clean up - home owners need to be very happy about what you and your crew did - u and August a nd VTW are the only crews I keep up with - see you on the next one 🤓👍
That was seriously impressive work guys! Hat's off to you all!
Great job! It's always awesome to see Stump! Sending ear scratches and snuggles to him!
Jake, you men are a well oiled and very safety conscious team. You rock. I love watching tree work.
Great teamwork, great equipment, staying focused, working safely and making your work entertaining!!! Priceless!!! 😊
Outstanding work as always guys. Worth every penny ❤
One of your best videos. Entertaining and educational.
That was one to be proud of. Great work all around and it didn't look easy
I love watching your videos….you are growing your business the right way.
I love how happy his dog is not hot and stuffy just sat happily drinking water
Outstanding guys. Very well done.
You guys should be proud.
Beautiful job guys great drone footage. Glad your all ok.😊❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Beautiful professional work 10/10 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Love what your doing. Randy is his natural comedic self. Thanks
This was probably the most "normal" job ive seen you post, and it was still just as enjoyable to watch as all the others🤙
Absolutely awesome and very professional work guys
Super cool top rig Randy!
A ton of work done smooth. Great finished project.
Just amazing, I was afraid to blink in case I missed anything, awesome job
Watching from Alberta,Canada
Jake and Randy are such a great team. Love this channel.
Looking good Jacob! Can’t gag the chipper, that beast is eating just like the saws. Randy’s Ditch Witch is getting it, the new guy is running with both cans filled with saw dust. Well done boys😊
Good stuff bro ! I love seeing your success. There’s more then enough trees for all of us to eat
This video took me back to when I first started watching you back when you were still at Eastside. Tall fir. 4 dudes having a good time. Great video.
多謝!
Thank you!
Amazing job. Super clean.
always fun to watch the pros work...thanks for another great clip
This felling of This fir was flawless fellas fabulous work ! Top Notch
Glad to see new vids on the regular now. I learn a lot from them
Great Job Jake ,and Crew. Liked the Rigging in the no drop zone. Randy did an exellent Job on the Ground. That was a narrow passage to the Chipper.
Great video crew! Be safe!
What a great operation, but especially your support crew!
thanks for making the video, it was great including the editing. I'd forgotten how much I use to love doing this stuff... I remember the wind.... and hating the negative rigging....
Hey great job making the video man. Getting the conversation between everyone really makes it awesome. Liked! Subscribed!
Really great video. Hard conditions for sure. But successful and done to perfection...
Drone driver - - - - great job, outstanding views... I see the neighbors coming out to check out the work.
I watched you many years ago and just saw this video. Very entertaining and educational, scratches an itch I did not know I had
I have a morbid fear of heights, here in Liverpool [UK] we have a huge tower [Saint Johns Beacon] it’s massive and every time that I walk under at and look up, it sends my loopy. I had to force myself to watch this amazing content. 👍👍👍

Old tree man here. That friction device is awesome. Smooth for the climber.
You guys work well together. Nice crew
That line brake is awesome and the little grabber machine. Great job.
Great job guys, love your videos
This is Dope to watch
Great job
I dont even make 5k a month, but then again I also dont live on a property that could even remotely fit such a tree.
I could instantly tell you are pros, that you love your job, and that you are well worth the cost. Hats off to you!
This was so satisfying to watch. It was surprised that the chipper could bite those thick logs so easily
Fabulous skills and clean work on a very complicated situation. Very nicely done!
I like that you tell us the price once in awhile. Gives us an understanding of what is involved.
Great job ... 👏🏼 👍🏼 👌🏼

Jeez, you can only say "Wow!" and "Damn" so many times!! The guy up in the tree, hanging on for dear life, has all my respect!!
the J.I.R.K. crew has done it again. awesome job boys. another great video
Good team work 🎉🎉🎉
This is amazing how a lot of thinking and set up went through. A lot could go wrong at each step.
Excellent job, well done👍
Lot of work.outstanding job
Good take down. I enjoyed it.😊
Omg! Very impressive. Great work.
Wish the crews on my job site had the teamwork you guys do. From safety to getting the job done, nice work.
