Perfect use of that vinyl material. I did a han solo belt the same way but used a nylon tool belt as the base. Love the stitching too that is very ingenious.
Omg thank you! I've been wondering how to get te belt right for weeks! Only thin I'll do different are the holsters. I'll make them using only fake leather and stiching them directly to the pants so the don't start dancing around while walking or running. The first ones I did are sturdier but they are not very comfy when sitting😢Can't wait to see how you make the jacket!❤ keep up the good work!
Hi Zonbi, you're such a great inspiration. I'm almost done with my holsters, I just need a suggestion. where can I buy that fake leather (will a generic fabric store work?) and also, what do I use to stick it to the foam, contact cement??? Thanks in advance.
work as always. I have one question, why put the Velcro in the back of the belt instead of the front like a "real" belt and hide it behind the foam belt buckle?
Zonbi, I'm working on my first ever cosplay, and I was wondering: after you've painted your pieces, do you seal them with anything, or is crumbling or damaged paint not really a concern?
Cool, thanks. I've got some clear plastidip in addition to what I used to prime it, but I'm just debating whether or not to use it as a sealant after painting the pieces. Mod podge is probably a great option if I have enough of it, haha.
I’m going to be Cosplay as star lords infinity war version and I don’t know how to make belt and I know how thank you for my cosplay for 2019 and I’m going to ask my parents to help me again thanks
The stitching is one of the most creative things I've seen! I can't stitch well so this will be so useful! cx

Puffy paint for stitching? Genius!
Aw thanks!
You're a painting master! It looks AMAZING!!! I'm excited to see all the pieces come together! :)
Thank you!!!
Girl. That is LEGIT! You should really sell those patterns on ETSY!

I'm probably gonna use this method for my dragon age 2 cosplay! Thanks for making this!!! 😊
Dragon Age 2!! YES! That's awesome!

The best Star Lord belt and holsters so far. Just wondering how did you make the buckle?

are u going to make the Walkman and the blaster helmet and jacket next
Did you use Velcro tape for the back to adjust?
Hi are u gluing the parts together or are you using one big stripe for the belt ?
For the contact cement can I just where a Covid mask?
I'm impressed
You skipped the blaster holsters though
it looks just like leather. nice job 👍!! can't wait to see it all done. are you going to be wearing this suit to any cons?
Thank you so much! I will be wearing this to cons in the future for sure! Not sure which ones though :^)
ZonZonZonbi cool! maybe make a video and maybe I'll see you there with mine 😃

if youre worried about your paint cracking I'd seal it with ModPodge! Make sure you pay attention to if it is matte or shiny though. Happy Cosplay!
I like using plasti-dip to prime my foam to prevent paint chipping. There's lots of way to seal foam though!

what leather did you use??
The amount of tools and materials you used to create this belt well over surpasses the cost of buying a readily made star lord belt already.
