I really enjoy watching these fellas on these courses.........their excellent balance and courage on the obstacles. I biked for 40+ years but had a couple of what the doctors called "mini-strokes" that have really affected my balance. I'm getting better but will never get close to what I once was in those terms.....but, I still like to watch and enjoy these guys.
incredible. watched this by chance this morning 116am on ch 214 Mavtv... they are incredible motorcycle riders. Unbelievable. 11/15/2023 X Trial Barcelona. They should put this on regular tv like abc sports or something. Unbelievable.
I completed in this sport and did very well. Although the sections I rode were not as difficult as the ones you see here. Never the less,I know what caliber of training and the amount of practice it took for me to do as well as I did proves that unless the week had 9 days and each day was 50hrs long ,I wouldn't have been able to do what these guys are doing. Anyone who understands and actually competes in this sport at a above average level can truly appreciate just how unbelievably awesome riders like the ones you see here really are.
I don't really see something like this being an olympic sport. As I see it, the olympics are a show of human prowess. I could could see cycle(?) trials but if moto trials were in the olympics then by extension things like motogp, f1, rally, etc. should also be included and I'm sure you can see the discrepancy between these disciplines of equipment knowledge vary from pure physical prowess. It's not saying the fitness needs to be above average but I do believe there is a key distinction.
This X-Trial is the most extreme difficulty I've seen yet- Toni was pretty aggravated at times in every round, you rarely see that :) Just tells you how crazy those sections were. Raga almost had him in the end.

Love watching these guys. Their skill and balance is insane. I, however, fall over when I’m sitting down.

X- trail is the most skillfull chapter in FIM motor sport in bikes and Toni is exceptionally talented with his Montesa,
He's like MM93 on the RCV.
