- Talad Rot Fai Srinakarin, also known as Train Market, is a massive open air night market in Bangkok. This market is a great little gem to see and experience, especially if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and looking for a new place to explore, eat and enjoy shopping at the same time.
Talad Rot Fai Srinakarin is located on Srinakarin Soi 51, just behind Seacon Square Shopping Mall. The main entrance to Talad Rot Fai Srinakarin is behind Seacon Square shopping center. It’s lined up with a series of open air bars featuring live bands and eateries.
With the new yellow BTS line opening it is now very convenient to use it to get to the market. It’s just a matter of riding it to Suan Luang Rama IX station. The yellow line connects to the green Sukumvit line on the south at Samrong and the blue MRT line on the north at Lad Phrao station.
The most attractive point of Talad Rot Fai Srinakarin is the atmosphere which is unique and different compared to other markets. The whole place is very lively with a lot of local people coming here to hangout on weekend evenings. There is a nice mix of new and vintage goods being sold but the Train Market is more than just a shopping venue, it's a chilled out place to sit, eat, drink and try something new.
It is a sprawling market that you can spend an evening exploring and still not see everything. It’s a bit more out of the way than some but worth a stop if you have time. The market is one of the best in Bangkok and all of Thailand.

It’s one of my favorite markets also. I haven’t went as much in the past because it was always difficult to get to from where I live. Now with the yellow line it makes it very easy to get there. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching. :)
