Pelageya is called the Queen of Russian folk music. She was a child prodigy and has been singing for well over twenty years (I think she is around 32 or so). Listen to he and Elmira sing the Portuguese song Canção do Mar, the song ends with Pelageya singing in Russian and Elmira singing in Tartar.
Pelageya is the judge in The Voice Russia, and the rest three guys are her team members. That is amazing performance! Greetings from Finland.

It's a song completion, where Pelageya is the coach of her group. All rhe singers are representing four different nationalities. Pelageya herself is Russian from Siberia, the lady with dark hair Elmira Kalimullina is of Tatar origin,, the male singer Anri Gogniashvili is Georgian and Maria Goya is Ukrainian. The song is telling about a wounded and dying cossack laying on the bank of river under a green willow tree and talking to a raven, which is waiting for a good portion of food after the soldier has died.

The poem was created by a non-commissioned officer of the Nevsky Infantry Regiment, Nikolai Verevkin, and is titled "Under the Green Willow". It was first published in 1837 in the journal Library for Reading. The poem, so to speak, "went to the people", and existed as a song in various versions. This song belongs to the so-called genre "cruel romances". General Peter Krasnov considered it a song of the Don Cossacks during the Caucasian War of 1817-1864.
The plot is very sad, riddled with longing and even mysticism. Two main characters: a man and a bird. Both images, the first is a warrior, the second is a raven. A wounded man lies on the battlefield and watches a black forerunner of death circling above him in the sky. The words of the first verse show that the guy still does not believe that his last minutes are coming. All narration is conducted in the first person and belongs to the hero. He promises a predator that he will not become his prey, although he is greatly wounded.
However, the raven feels a near demise, spreading its claws. The dying man asks the raven to fly to his homeland and tell his mother that he died in the battle for his land. He also wants to hand over the bloodied scarf to his bride, who gave it to him. With this gesture, it would be like to return freedom to her bride and free her from the promise to wait for him.
He further explains the reason. He wants the raven to say that he has found another bride and will soon marry her. In this case, it means death (death is now his bride), which is about to take possession of him. With this bride they were accompanied by a sharp saber of the enemy, And mother earth will crown them. And the bayonet of a soldier will be a friend at this wedding with death.
In the last verse, the warrior realizes that death overtakes him and tells the crow about it. Multiple repetition of words with the mention of a bird-messenger of bad news gives a special mood and a mournful tragic tone. These images are very impressive and a great sorrow appears in the listener's soul and tears come.
This is a dying song, describing a dying soldier under willow. We also say to willow as "vrba žalujka" (or willow the grieving) here in Slovenia. Willows are "crying"...
This two hundred year old folk song about a dying soldier talking to a raven to take news to his parents and to his love while dying alone on the battlefield. Story of many young men all over the world through out history.

Перевод надо делать не дословный, а смысловой.
Вот есть английская песня про вернувшихся на базу на подбитом бомбардировщиеке. Там есть слова если дословно, то будет как то так:
- с молитвой и божьей помощью.
Но в СССР так перевести нельзя было. Замечательная находка переводчиками была найдена:
- на чесном слове...
Так что суть не в переводе, а как передать смысл.
Да них@я они не поняли. Здесь даже не только вокал, сколько смысл самой песни нужно понять. Это у них всё поверхностно. Нужно быть русским, чтобы это понять.

It is not just "Diana vibe". I would call it Slavic and Russian soul. Russians take pride of their origin and it shows in their music, too. Russians have a totally different mentality, which I can easily relate to. In music, their primary goal is not so much gaining popularity like in the western culture, but being as good as one can be.
Back in a day, fame came as a consequence of some achievement, now it has become a goal in this "fast food western world", now we want to skip the achievement part, because it takes too much effort. It is much easier to show some skin, cause a scandal or two to be famous. I call that the "Kardashian effect". Path vs destination.
