I know someone already mentioned any Sony remote but Sony made a remote for the PS3 and that’s what I always used for mine. It works really well and fits the aesthetic.
@@EveryDayRetroGaming maybe I’m misremembering but I definitely have a remote for mine that I thought was for my PS3. My monitor is down my friend’s house. I’ll run by and see if I can let you know what it is.
@@camelsandpenguins Yeah there are two types of PS3 remotes. One that can work on the Ps3 TVs that has IR, and one that is bluetooth that only controlls the PS3. I had no idea there were two remotes until recently. My remote is missing a lot of the buttons the PS3/TV remote has. It's pretty cool. Amazon wants 50 bucks for em though lol
This seems like a really solid pretty outstanding TV that was released over a decade ago. The thing that I am most impressed about it that 240HZ refresh rate to make the 3D not terrible.
I'm about to pick up one of these today. I wish it came with the glasses and box but its not worth paying the extra for what people are asking for it online for a complete setup...
Yeah if you are just wanting the TV you can get them at great prices. The box and everything was in great shape I didn't mind spending the money I did. But it's not worth it if you are just looking for the TV
The lady that had it before really took care of it once she found it. Sounds like she was a collector as well. She said she just stopped using it and figured it was time to pass it on.
I've heard these have a major issue of going black. I watched a review when they first came out and the reviewer had to send his back because of the screen going black issue.
I don't think it tilts. The stand looks like it does but it feels like it wants to break when i tried. I just stopped lol I don't want to bust the stand.
@@EveryDayRetroGaming i like that it is brand new but i don’t know whether to buy this or a dlp 3d projector from benq or optoma. I heard brand new playstation displays need battery replacement for the glasses and some other repairs
@@suryacharan4314 yeah I bought 10 glasses for super cheap and had to replace all the batteries. If you don't already have everything to fix them it will be a bit more costly. I think the DLP 3D projector would be nicer over all. I hardly ever use my PlayStation 3D monitor.

From what I can find online. It's only a 60hz monitor and only does the 120 Hz for 3D but with the power of marketing Sony was able to say it can do some 240hz.
It's pretty nice to have if you don't mind that it's 24 inches only. I like the 3D now that I've used it but it's not something I'd pick this display up for. If you are still looking for one I hope ya find it!
I just bought one brand new in box for 50$ I find the image very very dark no matter what console I plug in it even do I put the Backlight setting to 10. Also my glasses dont charge and they are brand new. Can you help out on that ? Thanks
Yeah the batteries in the glasses go bad. Your glasses probably work but will need a battery replacement. I have a pair that was not used much if at all and I had to replace the battery. I thought that was pretty interesting as well. This is one of the few TVs that I like watching 3D stuff on. I wish more games made use of it!
I've been looking for one of these for quite a while! Nice find!
I was stoked once I saw it had all the original wrapping I had to pick it up.
Holy shit!!!! That is downright amazing! Great video and quality as always, top notch
Heck yeah I was so happy to see this thing complete in box! Thank ya!
Very cool man! I am going to find one for myself now haha! Might get one sometime soon myself so thanks for that! Great video brother!

Just got mine from eBay and it works great. Got some Sony 3D Sony glasses and all is good. I am one of the few that loves 3D.
I've always hated 3D for movies but love it for games. Glad your monitor is working out for ya!

The Component connections are for PS2 and PSP
Can I play ps1 games on ps2 console connected via component cable to this 3d display or on ps3 console connected via HDMI cable?
I have one and I reset it and even tho I have everything plugged in it wont show anything

I saw one on ebay sealed brand new at $600. Is it worth?
It would be pretty cool to get one new. 600 bucks seems pretty like a bit much $500 bucks would be a lot more reasonable.

How much is this TV?
I've seen just the TV go for 50-150 dollars. With the box 200-300 depending on the condition.

Yup you can watch 3D movies on it with a 3D Blu Ray player. It doesn't need to be a Ps3
