Bro idk how but every time I'm on my leg day i somehow walk out of the gym with this sick chest pump and a new bench pr🤷🏻
facts bro I just was trying to break 300 lbs on bench but i started focusing on squats I went back to max bench after 4 weeks and hit it!
My buddy is a trainer and said there’s some hormone produced that is stimulated in working your legs. So if you’re not working legs eventually upper body will plateau. Therefore, if you’re trying to go harder for upper body then going harder on legs can help give you that boost as well. I don’t know the science behind it but it made sense
@@Stonez55 This just happened to me! I was stuck at 285 on bench so I said I was going to focus on getting my squat up and I did that for 1 month went to bench and hit 300 and I can feel 315 coming soon

4 x 12 Goblet squats with eleveated heels
4 x 12 rdls
4 x 12 bulgarian split squats
4 x 10 sumo squats
4 x 12 alternating lunges
I always just called the first one goblet sqaut
The 5th one is explosive lunges

Its always satisyfing to see someone whos this lean demonstrate excercises, almost like a diagram itself you see what muscles contract during the movement further reinforcing how effective said excercise is for the correlated muscle group

Word I started doing a lot of the same type of things for leg's during covid when everything was shut and I had to improvise at the crib the fact that I'm 40 and I've been working out since I was 14 I kind of already knew a lot of tricks that plus RUclips is so amazing on so many levels it's a blessing all my people out there like me learning getting better and are willing to put in the work you can watch RUclips like that wasn't a thing when I was growing up either was Google.. crazy but true information is so accessible it's such a luxury more than that for me it's a blessing im dyslexic so being able to watch a video on anything from history to getting better at my trade my job to make a better living God bless

I have already tested this program in the corona 2020 containment, I did not have a lot of weight and it worked well for me
When i got to the Bulgarian split squats i had to ditch the weight in order to do good form! Damn bro this workout is legit 👌

People find their passion and don’t want to be average the problem is no matter what it is the window narrows and risk increases the more you do . A person can start running at 50 and do a marathon at 60 but a guy like me who has run for over 4 decades has cumulative wear and tear I’m 60 now and I’d bet in better all around fitness than many former pro athletes
