Let’s all appreciate how organised his garage is 🔧 🔨 ✏️📐🪚⚙️🗜️
HILLARIOUS but WRONG on so many levels.
The output out the mower that feeds into the second deck fights the outflow of the second deck. This will cause it to plug rapidly in wet grass snd generally make for a clumpy cut.
He refrained from mowing the very tall grass. This is often because the problems are not as visible when only the shorter grass is cut.
bro make custom exhaust for them
Congratulations, you just invented Siamese lawn mowers 😁🤩👍
I have something very similar It has a 46-in cut. And I can ride it 🤯
I can see putting the lawnmowers inline front to back. The front mower would be up higher for tall grass and the back mower would be lower for a finish cut.
Genijalac 😂
The duel mowers are impressive! Definitely be good for mowing a golf course with long grass. Either way, very innovative impressive and a good way to get a job done.
"It slices, it dices, it mulches!" The only mower(s) you'll ever need!
This would be a good idea IF you could make the two blades counter rotating to each other with opposing chutes
Got to admit that is ingenious.
Not really. Other companies have been making large walk behind mowers for ages. Toro, Scag and Ferris make them but cost a lot of money. Not to mention that riding lawn mowers used aren't a lot of money. There's also the option of buying a walk behind field and brush mower.
you need to make the blades closer like a timed deck so you won't have a middle strip
The mowers look like they’re both at different heights
Kul ideja ja bih to napravio da imam ravne površine i da nije usko.Svaka čast na ideji i šteta što kosilice nemaju pogon❤❤
kako nemaju pogon? imaju ali na žgance hehehe
This is once again one of the ideas / projects I love your channel for. The way you built this special mower could not have been done better, I especially like the two wheels in the middle, what a good idea.
Double the gun, double the fun.
-Serious Sam.💣
Very clean combination, If anyone else is considering this it might be faster to simply mount them unaltered side by side in a sort of staircase shape. with one mower 1 step forwards. This would allow for an overlap in cut path, you may also have to flip one mower around so that each mowers exhaust port faces out.
Must be nice to have all that, fabrication, stuff.
Lawn mower date😅
Like a twin stroller 😀
wow those motors... same engine design and everything from the 80s
80s? Try 70s or 60s. If anything, flathead technology is over a hundred years old since Ford invented it. It's one of the reasons Honda mowers are so coveted. Its engines date back to the mid 80s (again, pushrod OHV engines have been around for quite a while) but have had incremental upgrades over the nearly four decades of production.
@@WJCTechyman its exactly the same as the 80s Murrays. ive worked on a couple mowers and i recognize that engine anywhere. ive worked on a 86 murray with that exact engine.
Now he needs to make a three push mower❤❤❤❤❤
This is Einstein level genius. It's so cool I couldn't stop laughing.
Awesome idea 👍 👌
Hey du bist echt verrückt aber genial
Try to merge the safety release on both mowers instead of disabling them
Here's a thought but a riding mower
Good old Briggs Flathead engines. Those things would run forever with basic maintenance. It is crazy to think that less than a decade ago, they were still making those bulletproof engines, and now the ones they make are worse than some of the no-name Chinese engines.
The saying "they don't make them like they used to" is true, but in some cases like this, you really don't have to look back too far.
I've never liked these engines. Give me a Honda GXV160 over these and you don't have the Achilles heel of a plastic carburetor that can warp using a rubbeer diaphram that hardens when using any grade of fuel and the stupid idea of a primer bulb that you have to bend over, pump three times, go back to the handle, pull three or four times because the diaphragm is done, prime again and then after a few times of doing this you toss it off a hill.. All of that is simplified with a gravity feed system and a manual choke/throttle up on the handle. Honda, you can start the engine faster and easier than you would with these things. This includes Kohler and Kawasaki.
@@WJCTechyman yep, and you are paying much more. I have only seen a couple warped Carbs, and not having a desperate float bowl makes it much more reliable if someone leaves old gas in it. These engines are cheap, simple and can last decades.
One side appears to cut lower than the other one does.
Great idea and well made. The only way to improve it would be to use sell propelled mowers and put a seat on the back. You could leave the separate drives systems independent, so that you could use them to steer with!
At that point you may as well pay a few hundred for an old lawn tractor. Also, the self propulsion on these kinds of mowers are only built enough to carry the mower, bag (if it has that function) and the collected debris. Most of them are so cheaply made you'll bust the transaxle in one or two sweeps carrying your weight since most of them are held together in a plastic box.
@@WJCTechyman Don't worry 'techyman', I was joking about the seat.
I would think the 1 small ejector Shute would be an issue, maybe not
Still leaving one small strip in the middle.
You do know that there is such a thing as double gang or bigger single mowers already available for purchase 😂
I somehow think your wheels will be the first things to wear out, running on allthread like that!
Hey man, why did you stop the BMW pickup project?
And I'm also waiting for those projects 🤣
Not a bad idea, but with front wheel drive, it would do the job easy and quick.
That is sick
Pure madness and i like it! 👍🏾
It looks successful to me the video so far has 300k views and 3.6k likes 👍
Great invention I like it 🎉
Remember to grind th paint off before you weld , that's pretty cool 👍
I would have spray painted over the welds to prevent rust. The rest of the project looks okay.
Good job ! 👍
Great idea! Now it will only be twice as hard to push your mower around!
Could have been finished mowing by now.
Dang kool idea 😊
Next project, change gasoline powered with Gemišt powered fuel system
😂😂😂😂
Well, the second engine will be working harder as it receives everything from the first as well as cutting its own grass. I would have rotated one 180 degrees so it fires out both sides like a 42" BCS bagger mower.
Super videooo
Patrick Lucky Stevens approves 👍
👍🏻😁🤘awesome buddy hello from Venezuela 🇻🇪
Awesome thanks
Awesome idea!!😊
Now, put a 12v motor with knobby tire on rear to help push!
Super👌Pozz za tebe,majstore.👋
Genius idea!
Smart idea but I can already see one problem. One mower is higher than the other and it was showing in the video with the grass cut at different lengths on either side. I'm not knocking the idea but if it was height adjustable it would have been perfect.
Great job, I use $1 spring loaded clamps instead of zip ties.
You have just given the manufacturers an idea that is going to make them a lot of money hope you got a patent on that
They already make them. Toro has one, it's crappy but it does make them, Scag and Ferris have the heavy duty versions of those (SFC30 and FW15 respectively) as well. Also, BCS tractors have an implement that's 42" wide made for its two wheeled tractors. It's probably the granddaddy of the others.
Better idea, I have a Triple deck 50" cut that I cut grass with on my Cub Cadet lawn tractor!
Yes, 50" cut. Put about a 5 hp(conservative) or a 10 hp(for heavier grass/ field mowing) wheels on the back and casters on the front like a finish mower for a 25hp row crop tractor.
Hey Doctor D.S.
Maybe instead of manually pushing it and a frame a seat and a steering wheel so you can sit and mow in stead of pushing lol 😂
Love the videos please bring back the lawnmower series
He's already got a MTD Silvertrac lol
Cool..video is awesome 👍🏾
They do sell larger lawnmowers.🤔
yep $1,500.00
It just looks right.
Bro they ain’t even the same height if you watch it very closely it’s two different heights 😂
Bro...Bro, why when you cutting weeds in a field ? this isnt the masters at August georgia 😊🙂😋😛
MAN. I LIKE IT. IM DOING THAT NEXT WEEK. I THINK ITS FREAKIN GREAT MAN. THANKS FOR THE IDEA !!
The lawn mower centipede get it? One eats what the other is cutting.
Lol. I had literally thought the same thing. Just needs one more to be complete.
Impressive 😮 you should see if you can hook 4 of them together lol
And then see if you can push it
Youd have to pull it behind a riding mower 😆
Now get your wife or girlfriend to help you push it, you’ll be exhausted trying to mow the whole yard with that. Maybe add a self propelled system that would be a little more efficient. Or go buy you a rider.
I smell an incredible OSHA violation.
Wonderful.
the ridged welded connection between the two mowers works on flat plane land, but if you have more uneven wavy land, better to make the connection with some articulation between the mowers. this could be done with some hinges and flexible metal duct.
Okkkk 😂 riding lawnmower definitely better I will jus say
He's already got a MTD Silvertrac lol
very nice ❤
Never herd them caled knives just blades😂
Normalno >>Made in Borova
Close it up and put some mulching blades on . . If you could make it self propelled 👍
Mows twice as much but is twice as hard to push
You could have opened both mowers to exhaust clippings out the back.
I was thinking that too. I think it would discharge better.
I don't know why you just didn't attach them by the rear wheel of one of them, so they could be staggered. Doing it your way either the blades will hit each other or they won't be close enough and it will leave uncut strip
2mm ... watch again
@@RCRWJR And if you hit an area of the ground that causes the whole thing to flex....CRASH and you end up junking at least one of the engines and these Briggs are made to a price point, so that's a possibility.
You should do 3
Thats what Im talkin 'bout
😊😊😊😊😊
So if one machine is down you got two machines down..
Nice❤
Dobra kreacija.
What abt the stripe that will be left in the center 😂 that's why riding mower decks are slightly diagonal
For the overlap, yes, that's why mower decks are offset so you don't have the stripe in the centre. The other solution is the system uses a timing chain or belt so the blades don't collide. Of course, that's expensive and if made inexpensively you get the Toro DowntimeMaster. If made correctly, you have a machine like a Walker Mower.
Bro just turn Toro or exmark, scag 30 inch push mower 💀
Dope‼️✂️
This reminds me of a movie. You know the one..
What you really need to do is quit smoking so much WEED
Pull it behind a quad, it looks like it takes effort to push.
Good idea, but I'd rather buy a bar mower ;)
The blades are spinning clockwise and the mower on the left (without ejection chute) is feeding it's cuttings against the rotation of the mower on the right...seems like it's working against itself?
Probably results in some decent mulching though.
worst he'll end up with is increased gas consumption on the right hand mower
@sethfieldhouse6876 or possible clogging if the grass is too high. ..or continuous stalling of the motor/motors.
@@blabaduplatinum1 Only if the second engine is double the power of the first, meaning you have to have a 5.5-8hp on the second mower. Otherwise you are overloading the second stage.
Yeah I really don’t think it’s that critical given the application, it looks to be working fine for him. He’s basically rough cutting the lawn not trying to make golf course fairways. I understand the idea of adding power to the deck receiving the excess clippings. 25 years as a mechanic including small equipment and heavy machinery. Double the power would be overkill. It’s a hokey setup and there are more practical solutions but he’s having fun and getting views I guess.
Genius 😂😂😂
after watching the video closely I can tell the mower on the left is a little higher than the right side. The right mower is cutting lower than the left side. Make that adjustment and they both should cut evenly. Great idea tho!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cool
