Eotech needs to just go back and start again. Closed emitter, more durable emitter, more brightness and NV settings, and still offer it in the 3/6 MOA dot. I love Eotechs. For night vision use I’m not sure there is a better option on the market. I was excited to see them jump into the pistol optic market but this iteration of the design is a pass for me. I am slowly moving from RMRs to P2s and I was hoping to have another option to choose from but for now at least, it looks like P2s and the RMR are the only viable choices for me.

As someone who doesn’t sub to your Patreon (mainly because I’m working to get my financial situation in order and trying to abide by a strict policy of not buying things that I don’t need for the moment as kind of self punishment and self discipline for some poor decisions in the past), I greatly appreciate the YT content that you do still upload free of charge. Thank you. I’ll never hate on someone seizing an opportunity to do better for themselves. It’s one thing when a big company or corporation does things to further enrich themselves just because they know they can get away with it, but it’s something entirely different when it’s something like an independent content creator who has already given as much as you have for free. I would imagine that relying on YT revenue as a reliable source of income for someone who makes the type of content that you do can’t be sustainable. I don’t expect you to put yourself out for us. When my finances are better I will be tossing some your way on Patreon, both for the content you’ve already given away free of charge, and so I can get me some more of that knowledge. Thanks again for the videos. They’re all high quality and helpful.

It’s kinda just the principle of it. Trying to be extremely strict and disciplined about literally no purchases of “wants” until I knock out my CC debt. You’re no wrong at all though, the 1st tier $5 is not gonna kill me. I’m just worried it will set the precedent of “it’s only $5” which will lead to another $5 purchase and then another. I’m just not good with money management at all and I’m trying to instill some self discipline. That’s exactly why I’ve been not buying my DD coffee whenever I can help it. I’ll try to skip out on the coffee for the next two work days and just invest in Sage considering the $5 will go further on the 1st tier than it will on coffee.

Just to continue this. I made sure to get the newer spacers and screw set for the EFLX on my Shadow Systems DR920. I did a couple of light drops and bumps on the optic and it in fact lost zero. POI shifted over about 2" to the right at 10 yards, thats alot.

Holosun is the way to go even for a duty optic. I never thought in a million years I'd be saying that, but they're geniunely the best pistol dots out there along with the RMR and ACRO-2. Way more features than the others, too. Not a fan of Chinese stuff, but credit where credit is due.

I'm sure he has reasons for posting it this late; maybe he wanted to fully test 5 of them first and see the results; maybe he just wants his patreons to have the edge/ inside knowledge of what is good. I can respect that too, especially on something that does well. But when something is trash like this, I "would have thought" before that he would want to get that out ASAP. Now I know..

Not on,y do I think it’s great that you continue to release videos here on RUclips… ESPECIALLY when things re trending and everyone is looking them up or researching them… I also think it’s just smart. I mean there are people either through searching what’s hot or trending right now or just searching anything that may come across your videos and have never heard of you before. And how else could they? Patreon just doesn’t have the reach RUclips has and people may never find you on patreon. It’s smart to release videos here often so you can tell all the new eyes/watchers where to find your best content at if they so wish to watch it. Anyway.. great review as usual!

I bought an EFLX because it struck my fancy. It lives on my backup USPSA sig P320 AXG.
I take it out shooting every so often and it seems to be running fairly well.
No drops yet, but several hundred rounds.
Biggest thing is that when I dropped it into the sig factory DPP cut, there was significant slop. I forged a shim and basically wedged the optic into the slide cut then torqued it down.
Not sure if my shim is holding it solid, or what, but mine seems to be doing well so far. If I were looking for a duty optic, I’d probably go with an SRO
