Some people are starting to convert these beasts into AWD. The *M177 with mods and AWD in the C63S is a M3/4’s nightmare. Just ask Evolve MS.

Is the C63 twin turbo a bit of a bargain? just thinking that engine is in a lot of higher priced amgs 🤔
It has smaller turbos then the e63 gt’s etc and maybe other weaker internals but it’s not a bad car not sure if 650hp is pushing it for a stage 2 on these but they do over 600 with it
@@aj24z42 it actually shares the same forged internals as gtr and gt black series (pistons,rods,crankshaft). Blackseries does have flatplane crank instead tho. The gt model's only engine differences are dry sump, lower compression ratio, and better turbos like you said but keep same internals👍🏼
It absolutely is a bargain. Same engine used in GT models and Aston Martin Vantage. Definitely doesn't handle and weigh like those supercars but the power is all there. stock turbos are not as good tho

@@TimChump yes I do had it for 3 years now. Been tune/downpipe for over two, no issues. There's many c63 owners with 1000hp on stock engine and stayed reliable for years with no issues also. It's still somewhat new but m177 is very strong and reliable, no major issues so far

I was looking to buy a C63 AMG 2017-2020, but I dislike the tail lights on some of them especially on the 2020 ones. So I was gona fit the same ones as in this video but I am wondering if they will fit if I buy them from Mercedes or if I have to scour the internet for some aftermarket lookalikes. Not sure if Mercedes changed anything else that would not make them fit or work. Does anyone happen to know?
2015-2018 sedans have the same tail light design and are interchangeable (17 and 18 they made the plastic darker but kept the same look) then 2019+ got the redesigned tail lights. I’ve never seen anyone put the older ones onto a newer car but Ik putting the newer tail lights on an older car requires coding. IMO the best option is getting a 16-18 then just swapping out the screen to the newer one (that’s what I did) but depending on what all you care about that might change

I had one and what an absolute bag of shite... Everyobe looking go buy a w204 i promise you.. This thing up shifts when it wants, doesnt launch. Yes mine was standard but had it 3 months bag of bollocks
This honestly doesn't make sense. If you have the car in sport+ and give it alot of throttle, the car will stay in the same gear till redline. It definitely doesn't randomly upshift for you unless you are not giving enough throttle input. And these cars literally have launch control with adjustable RPM launch😂
