You missed a couple of frames when blurring your truck number at the start of the video.
hey, ive been wondering, why do you change companies so often?
❤❤❤
Do you know the make/model of the fridge? Looking for one for my truck.
$❤😊😢😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Got to love how Alex is so excited about such little things like a matching trailer. When I drove for a company I was happy to have functioning brakes and a defroster that worked.
Lol. So true, not looking forward to paying my dues but nonetheless looking forward to getting started! We all must start somewhere, just not swift lol
@@phillipbaritone3843 OR CR ENGLAND. Lol they are just as bad as swift!
lol forreal
@@ElusiveConcept205 ive been driving for 8 years, started with a company called celadon and they went under, swift is not a bad company. ive never worked for them i always strongly suggesat swift or prime inc for people who are trying to get into trucking, swift has a lot of clients that'll keep you bouncing around all OVER the country and as a trucker thats what you want, nice 1000+ mile trips, i worked for a company called crete and these clowns could barely give me 500 mile trips. swift is a meme but not a bad company to get your toes wet with.
Am I the only one who’s a little worried he identified his parking brake as his main brake system!
Hey fella. I absolutely love your enthusiasm in this business. I’ve seen comments on social media slamming you for being so proud of your truck. Don’t listen to the hate. Being proud means you will take care of it and that’s a great thing. I’ve been in the business for 15 years now and I remember how excited I was when I got my first truck so seeing your videos let’s me relive that a little. Thank you and keep on Rollin brother. Maybe we will run in to each other one day.
To make your fridge last longer, put the Styrofoam from the packaging under it. It helps absorb all the abuse from the roads. These fridges aren't designed for trucks. They're made for dorms mostly.
I’ve never had issues with fridges from driving the trucks. It’s always been from people switching them from truck to truck and dropping them and shit.
The one in my Pete lasted for 484,000 miles before I swapped trucks with zero issues. The ones they put in the trucks from factory are far more durable than you think.
😂😂😂 the way Alex was giving a tour of his truck almost seemed like it was just some random guy who jumped in a semi and started talking about what he is seeing 😂😂😂😂😂
Ok I thought it was me, I was looking for this comment, like is this even his, he don't have know work a helmet, don't know what a cb radio is, put back the ladder, the temperature gages I was so lost
Same😂
@@rrosen85this is my brakes lmao sometimes in a car you have that lever 💀🫠 this guy surely knows nothing lmao and just steering wheel holder
I was thinking the same thing, like is this satire? He really didn’t seem to know what he was talking about.
Everyone watch out for the big blue semi in the rearview mirror because this guy might not actually know what the brake is!
Dude literally sounds like he started trucking yesterday lol
Honesty
"This is my brake button. It has something to do with the air brakes or something." Id love to know what state your CDL was issued in. Ill be sure to stay far far away. That statement was mind blowing.
I came here to say the same thing. As a fleet manager I would not be putting this guy anywhere near my trucks
His mind is gone regardless
I clicked on this to see your truck and maybe get some specs, I think I got the wrong channel. Just curious how it is that you have a CDL and your unsure of your air brake system, I know when I got my license the written exam was General knowledge, then in addition to drive a tractor trailer you need to pass the Air brake and Combination vehicles test as well. The next time your pulling a heavy load going downhill you damn well better know how to use your brakes.
It's a sharp looking truck, but how did this guy get his CDL-A without knowing how the brakes work? The scary thing is, there have to be more like him all over the road.
I was like 200k truck and don’t know why the brakes are different from cars 😭😭 uhhhhhhh
You need to change the title of the video to "Tour of my company truck".
Would not get any views
Great video! Just a heads up. Carbon monoxide is heavier than air while smoke is lighter than air. I don't recommend combo units because one will always be at a disadvantage. I would recommend a smoke detector to keep up high and a separate carbon monoxide detector to keep down low. It's most important to keep your carbon monoxide detector below the level of your head when sleeping.
thanks for this
This is false, carbon monoxyde is slightly lighter than air, very easy to find this with a simple google search
35 years over the road .never had one
@@castandcultivate23 I agree
Came here to say the same thing. Kuddos, mate! 👌
Smoke detectors on the ceiling, carbon monoxide detectors just under your bed level. Stay safe.
Alex - you are probably in the top 1% of trucking diets. Good job!
This man cooks better in a semi than I do at home 😂
@@knoxvillepredatorcatcher3459 That's how he makes his RUclips money!
I make my food at home for the week ! Im too tired to cook and dont want the cooking smell in my truck haha ! Its always chicken and rice with some veggies!
The way he talks about the stuff, when talking about his brake’s he’s so nonchalant not calling it as it is lol sounds like he doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about. Love this video!!
yea he said he had a “trucker radio” like uhm it’s a CB what are you on about.
He said he "thinks" the air brake knob "controls the air brakes or something" 🤯🤯
$200k?? So it came with at least $50k in cash tucked away somewhere inside it? It’s a fleet spec Cascadia. Nice but there’s not a single thing “custom” about it.
Custom clickbait video title
That's scary that a professional truck driver doesn't have a clear understanding of the braking system. How can you do a proper pretrip without knowledge of how your truck operates?
Doesn't even know how to use his hard hat... lol.
Custom !?!? WTF is CUSTOM about a FLEET package tractor !?!? 🤯
Paint job
bro why he put us in the freezer like that 😂😂
I owned a CH613 double bunk all maxed out back in 1999. I always had my seat all the way down to the floor. Rode like a Cadillac.
"Here's my freezer"
*Puts camera in freezer, and then removes it*
"Now lets move on"
200k for a Cascadia? I don’t know what’s worse, someone asking that much for it or someone paying that much for it.
7:47 The two white plastic pieces on the front of your head should be flipped to the inside. The size adjustable piece behind your head should be fully or partially showing.
I think it’s time to empty the pee jug lol
Lol I was wondering if that was pee jugs... he sure doesnt care what anybody thinks about it lol
I’ve always wondered what the interior of semi trucks look like. Thank you for giving us your tour. So interesting, very cool. Thank you.
Alex is a pretty good guy. The simple things in life thrill him!! I am older and enjoy watching someone young who is not cursing, also keeping his nose out of people's business.

@@SteveSmith-lo2wdas a younger man, it’s refreshing to see someone closer to my age not making a fool of himself on camera like so many do. I can’t stand all that “f this and f that, mf gd, on and on” kids need punched in the mouth for that more often.
Raw meat goes on the bottom drawers to prevent cross contamination.
Should place large plastic containers with your stuff on the upper bunk. Fit it right it will look neat.
I do that too. So much more storage space
True. But I like the open area above me while I’m chilling in bed, feels cramped with the bed down all the time. Those single bed trucks with the shelf where the top bunk would be are pretty dope
I never knew CDL trucking can be like this. It's like a whole dorm room in the back of the truck. Wow!
It’s not called “CDL Trucking” it’s just called “Trucking” 🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@waterboycallofduty My bad. I guess I was trying to differentiate it from small truck drivers.
@@professional.commentator Call them Sleeper or OTR trucks.
@@ethanbradshaw2858 Gotchya! Thanks for the info!
Need to fix the liner in your hard hat, that's why it's hurting
That bottle of apple juice shouldn’t be on the sun 😂😂😂
ok i was looking for this comment, i wanted to make i was no the only one that seen those sitting, one full and the other in the process of getting full
I know nothing of semi trucks. But it’s cool to see someone talking about something they are excited about and think it’s cool. So what if there are “better trucks” he’s happy with his truck so there’s no better truck than this to this guy. Let people be happy.
Alex, what job did you have just prior to becoming a trucker? Have you always been an over the road trucker, or have you done local deliveries? Do you want to bring a pet (dog, for example) with you on the truck?
I bring my dog and I love having her. It’s tough sometimes but it’s pretty cool
bro u a npc
Dude you crack me up,every time I watch even if I’m having a bad day you make me feel better. Thank you.
This young boy is genuinely charismatic & charming, I hope he goes into a different field. I hate to see such a beautiful innocent boy becoming a mark at a truck stop, or in the trucking industry. I drove a 102”X53’ Wilson full cattle pot & a Pete w/425 Cat 13 spd 60” sleeper since 1982 I’ve always drove Peterbuilts w/Cat engines, everyone stayed away from livestock trucks even at weigh stations. Godspeed & God Bless young man, please be extremely careful, always lock your cab, wear jeans long sleeve shirts & steel toe work boots in case you get into something & always keep a good folding knife in your pocket & a pistol in your boot. I was given a 870 Remington shotgun in 1983 by my dad, and I always kept it under the sleeper.😂
bro, it's nice to see someone else doing this, I'm a driver from Serbia, have you heard of Serbia, we're probably very popular because of Nikola Jokić and Novak Djokovic, it's a little different with us, the main difference is that we can drive at 10:00 a.m. twice a week the rest 9 and our weekend breaks are 45 h and the main difference is that you have your own trucks and we drive for companies and we are paid much less. Europe, even some countries that do not belong to the European Union. Big greetings for brother Trucker
You're very organized and very knowledgeable about trucks and how to survive driving 18 wheelers. But, it's highly recommended that defrosting meats, and other frozen products in the fridge. Bacteria can become a problem by defrosting outside of the fridge. A microwave can sometimes help. Just a healthy suggestion!
He's not very knowledgeable about trucks.... he doesn't know anything about his air brakes, he literally said something to do with brakes or something... like come on, doesn't know what's on his screen for oil Temps and pressure.... if he don't know that then he doesn't even know how to do a pretrip and thats fuckin scary mannn
Show us on your middle console where you check to see how much air pressure you have in the primary and secondary tanks
Nice custom truck it looks like all the Freightliners in the world 😱
Great videos! It’d be a great convenience if trucks had an easy option for removing the passenger seat, when solo driving. That’d give you that much more space.
Yes like the mail truck, has a counter top,
Oh yes, the freightliner cascadias has dual screen dashboards that are sick AF. IMO they're on of the best trucks out there. Although I'm personally a kenworth kind of guy... don't judge me.
I was thinking about applying with GP but once I read the reviews, I quickly changed my mind, wasn't suprised though, the trucking industry has gone to hell in a hand basket, cant trust any of them unfortunately.
5:09 I’m laughing so hard right now because until you showed me this I never thought about that or the fridge popping open you really do learn something everyday 😂Thankyou
I’ve always wondered what the interior of semi trucks look like.)))
lol the pee jug in the passenger floor board bout took me out
Custom? How? Its like every other Cascadia. Simple
I guess you missed the part where he showed his color changing cb, you ding dong
Ahh, no your right your right, stupid stupid stupid me!!!
I love the presentation. this guy is extremely simple and down to earth. good luck Alex , the trucker.
I was done when he called a hard hat a helmet😂😂😂😂😂😅
hard hats are a type of helmet
Alex, on my Kansas property I have a nice pond and a canoe It's so relaxing . I did have to shoot a water moccasin last week , but oh well no venomous snakes in my canoe with me allowed!
Respect man, the guys are sleeping so no horn.
I love your truck bro. I've been a chef for 24 years and I'm considering long haul trucking. You kinda sealed the deal for me . Thank you and est wishes my friend 👊🏻
Like a boat, everything has a place, and a place for everything😉
The plastic brackets on your helmet has to be folded the other way “up” into the helmet
0:05 soo no one is going to talk about how he tried to block out the number but totally failed 🤣🤣
Has anyone became a truck driver already since watching this guy ? If so let me know I plan on getting my CDL too
Too cute, your setup! I hope you are blessed with safety and good fortune wherever you may go and whatever you may do.
Why not just sit on the trash can and eat at the pull out table? Pretty much exactly where you put it now but turn to the left 90°, you'd be facing the pull out table with a bit more privacy (heck, you might be able to close the curtain and eat 🤷♂)
That Kinders Sauce needs to be in a fridge. Don't want you to get sick!
And the burrito too!
Good video on living. The table eating thing food going down , it all goes ok. Everytime.
One can hear in your voice how proud you are of your truck :) Looks amazing, I've never seen a truck like this.
OMG Alex!! You have the helmet headband on incorrectly. No wonder it hurts!!!
bro just casually has his bottle right there in the passenger seat lmfao
Nice video and tour of your truck Alex, it was really interesting to see all that exists in such a small space. You've made it a comfortable home on wheels , are you going to put up the lights you had before ? the different colors gave a soothing ambiance. Stay safe out there 🙏🥰🌟✌️

I love your videos Alex ...I'm writing this from my home country Greece.. I recently got my CDL Class B license in Massachusetts and now I'm Back in Greece... but when I get back home I'm going to go for my class A... I just want you to know I watch every single video of yours and I think you're absolutely amazing ...the only gripe I do have is when you can't make a turn and you edit it out and you don't show us what you do to counter that problem
The first issue is the fact that he clearly doesn't know how his air brakes work lol. Nevermind editing out turning mistakes.
yea yea yea your carrier buys the nice trucks great for you... the rest of us get non led lights and a regular dash and no door locks haha..(oh yea i have to supply my own invertor fridge ect..)
Yeah buddy we out here strugglin but ever since theyve made those fridge/freezer combos that use the 12v barrel plus the struggles gotten just a tad easier 😂
Those US trucks are so damn spacious compared to our EU cabover thinghy's.. 😂
I’m in a 23 freightliner cascadia as well and you gave me some better storage ideas.
Hey Alex, loving your videos. My dad use to work in a sleeper and I remember riding with him all the time as a kid so this brings back some memories. I know you probably get questions like this all the time but I remember in a few videos you bringing up how trucking can be a lonely job at times. So, I'm curious what are some things that you do to help overcome that loneliness?
Yes driver, your truck does have an air brake system 😂😂
Hey Alex, I’m trying to decide whether or not to get it to the industry after Driving professionally for 30 years in the Limo business and bus business. What’s your recommendation if someone wants to be an owner operator in trucking?
go and ask the older collegues
go visit truck stop and talk to them
Make a video that tells everyone you are green.
Alex: "on it!"
About what you said about truck stop food, I agree its not the best for you with a teucking job I do it myself either way but I try to make up for my crappy eating habits by working out every morning when I wake up and every night right after I park up for the night
The censor misses from 0:01-0:06
It's called a hard hat and those white tabs should be folded on the inside of the hard hat there should be a slot for them. They all should have expiration date on these hard hats.
"custom truck" Its a basic company truck, that got some blue painting done bravo...
I’m surprised that you haven’t invested in an E bike that you could somehow mount to the back of your cabinet between the truck and the trailer so that when you get a different cities you could maybe get around on a day and a half or 30+ hours that you have. I have to be not driving the truck so occasionally you can get your new or interesting places?
Idk if anyone has said anything yet but I'm pretty sure you put the cage in the hard hat in backwards lol
That radio is a citizen band radio, which is pre cell phone. You should have 360 Camaras on your truck.
We can see the truck number in this video Alex. Just an FYI.
I don't know if he tries to hide it, manually, or if the editor tries to do it, but it's hit or miss at best. I sometimes notice he hides trailer numbers, too, which is a little silly, I think, but to each his own.
Just enrolled in school to get my CDL in January.. it’s amazing how much this guy DOESN’T know and he’s behind the wheel of a truck. Guys definitely got an auto restriction that’s for sure.
Start a franchise small shops that prep clean macro meals
Keep ‘em healthy grass fed and loose weight specially all there money we both win
You remind me of my sister so much with all her lil creative ways to fix pet peeves hahahaha its wholesome.
One to remember... always be at the top of your game whenever in a big city. Preplan and expect the unexpected
Life on the road has to be made as convenient as possible.
WOW this guy has the potential of driving 80,000lbs down the road and is clueless about air brakes? Aren't air brakes part of the driving test? WTF
Yes, 3 parts, Generally Knowledge, Air Brakes and Combination Vehicle
@@lada3264That's part of the learner's permit tests. You need to know that shit before you even get into CDL School. At least, that's how it is in North Carolina.
Any plans to redecorate the sleeper with LED lights like the other one you had?
Custom? $200,000? More than a slight exaggeration.
ALex ur a dam legend its nice to se how a legend lives by his day 😍
Was not expecting just a whole head of cabbage in the fridge.
13:40 Omg I use that EXACT spray to clean interior of my car!
Alex, I've had several calls wanting my guys to try out those electric smi trucks. I was polite the first 2 or 3 times, but they kept up to the point I had Brian take care of them.
You should keep the Carbon Monoxide detector down at floor level. CO is heavier than Oxygen so it settles to the lowest point.
Your hard hat liner is backwards. Also those CO2 detectors won’t do anything because being a diesel they produce Nitrous Dioxide not carbon monoxide. The smoke detector portion of it will work, but once your truck is on fire and they detect it it’s nearly too late being everything is plastic.
Also, I’m not sure what exactly is custom about your truck lol. I mean it’s a nice company truck, but far from custom. Maybe one day I’ll see ya around and I can show you my custom truck.
Stay safe man.
his head is on backwards
Be safe out there man you have a positive attitude that will take you a long ways with that being said don't put up with no bulshit
semi truck... WITH 2 BEDS!!!!! - so cool!
They have to fix this with trucking both trucks and truck stops need rev style electrical hookups so you don’t have idle all night. It would save sooooo much emissions on a large scale.(I’m aware sometime truckers don’t stay at truck stops) but wouldn’t that just save so much hassle. No to mention the reduced wear on the engines.
U don’t need to press the brake pedal to apply the parking brake. Just pull the yellow knob
Yes you do. Newer air brake vehicles have that safety feature on them. It's really annoying
Your hardhat insert is backwards. Turn it 180° and adjust to fit your head properly.
Love your videos Alex and keep up the good work
Freightliner Cascadia is literally the shit truck they give to rookies. 😂😂😂
...or that's what the company buys. They are everywhere.
@@drowssapma Vets gets Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo. Alex will have to join another company in a couple of years to get into the White Volvo Mafia.
It's called the Freightshaker for a reason people.!
They're reliable and proven who cares what the make is you older truckers are ignorant
You have the insert installed wrong in your hard had. Pop it out and insert the clips from the inside of the hard hat, it will fit better and be way more comfortable.
I've heard that you must wear more sunscreen on the left side of your face more due to more sun exposure. Please make sure you apply enough and there are tons of Japanese brand that is great and non greasy
This guy knows nothing about the inside of it 😂
Great vid Alex!!! In the future, when vlogging, can you include all merging? I love it!!!
Hey Alex, I just had one of my trucks delivered to me with a load for Kansas. I decided on the new name and I'm going through the bullshit of starting the second company right now Cotton Wood Terminal. is becoming a real company finally! I only have my uncles truck so far the 3 2020 green T680s are being overhauled and relettered for my new company. But it's taking shape my other company is still running as before, very smoothly. I just want this one to operate the same way. Now I have to find three drivers to complete the puzzle. Alex, shortly you will receive another support gift for your channel. I've already got a customer in Kansas shipping to Tennessee. I bought property in Tennessee, I have a paper customer in Indiana, I bought property in southern Indiana. I meet my trucks in Tennessee to exchange trailers, when I get 2 or 3 more drivers I'll be set until phase 2 in mid 2024. Wish me luck Alex, This has to show a profit within 24 months or parts may be sold off!
