Being proud means you will take care of it and that’s a great thing. I’ve been in the business for 15 years now and I remember how excited I was when I got my first truck so seeing your videos let’s me relive that a little. Thank you and keep on Rollin brother. I clicked on this to see your truck and maybe get some specs, I think I got the wrong channel. Just curious how it is that you have a CDL and your unsure of your air brake system, I know when I got my license the written exam was General knowledge, then in addition to drive a tractor trailer you need to pass the Air brake and Combination vehicles test as well. The next time your pulling a heavy load going downhill you damn well better know how to use your brakes.

    Great video! Just a heads up. Carbon monoxide is heavier than air while smoke is lighter than air. I don't recommend combo units because one will always be at a disadvantage. I would recommend a smoke detector to keep up high and a separate carbon monoxide detector to keep down low. It's most important to keep your carbon monoxide detector below the level of your head when sleeping.

I hate to see such a beautiful innocent boy becoming a mark at a truck stop, or in the trucking industry. I drove a 102”X53’ Wilson full cattle pot & a Pete w/425 Cat 13 spd 60” sleeper since 1982 I’ve always drove Peterbuilts w/Cat engines, everyone stayed away from livestock trucks even at weigh stations. Godspeed & God Bless young man, please be extremely careful, always lock your cab, wear jeans long sleeve shirts & steel toe work boots in case you get into something & always keep a good folding knife in your pocket & a pistol in your boot. Hey Alex, loving your videos. My dad use to work in a sleeper and I remember riding with him all the time as a kid so this brings back some memories. I know you probably get questions like this all the time but I remember in a few videos you bringing up how trucking can be a lonely job at times. So, I'm curious what are some things that you do to help overcome that loneliness?

    I’m surprised that you haven’t invested in an E bike that you could somehow mount to the back of your cabinet between the truck and the trailer so that when you get a different cities you could maybe get around on a day and a half or 30+ hours that you have. I have to be not driving the truck so occasionally you can get your new or interesting places?

    You should keep the Carbon Monoxide detector down at floor level. CO is heavier than Oxygen so it settles to the lowest point.

  • @gregrhyne9409
    @gregrhyne9409 Год назад +2

    Your hard hat liner is backwards. Also those CO2 detectors won’t do anything because being a diesel they produce Nitrous Dioxide not carbon monoxide. The smoke detector portion of it will work, but once your truck is on fire and they detect it it’s nearly too late being everything is plastic.
    Also, I’m not sure what exactly is custom about your truck lol. I mean it’s a nice company truck, but far from custom. Maybe one day I’ll see ya around and I can show you my custom truck.
    Stay safe man.

    They have to fix this with trucking both trucks and truck stops need rev style electrical hookups so you don’t have idle all night. It would save sooooo much emissions on a large scale.(I’m aware sometime truckers don’t stay at truck stops) but wouldn’t that just save so much hassle. No to mention the reduced wear on the engines.

    Hey Alex, I just had one of my trucks delivered to me with a load for Kansas. I decided on the new name and I'm going through the bullshit of starting the second company right now Cotton Wood Terminal. is becoming a real company finally! I only have my uncles truck so far the 3 2020 green T680s are being overhauled and relettered for my new company. But it's taking shape my other company is still running as before, very smoothly. I just want this one to operate the same way. Now I have to find three drivers to complete the puzzle. Alex, shortly you will receive another support gift for your channel. I've already got a customer in Kansas shipping to Tennessee. I bought property in Tennessee, I have a paper customer in Indiana, I bought property in southern Indiana. I meet my trucks in Tennessee to exchange trailers, when I get 2 or 3 more drivers I'll be set until phase 2 in mid 2024. Wish me luck Alex, This has to show a profit within 24 months or parts may be sold off!
