There is always a lot of talk on forums etc of mod'ed S vs R on the 987.2 and I think that the mods on this do show what you can do if the R is too much of a premium over an S.
Thanks Rob Schlegel, there isn’t much info out there on the PM battery annoyingly, but I’ve made a video on it giving a overview ruclips.net/video/9Kvwlo2X5K/видео.html
Hey mate! Great videos, very useful information! Can I ask where you got your roll cage from please? I’ve bee searching for ages for one with a removable x brace but had no luck! Thanks in advance!🙂
Wheels looks awesome, I am looking for a 987.2 but they are very hard to find. I might just get the .1 if nothing else pops up. Gotta enjoy these while we can before electric takes over.
There is no issue with Gen 1 Cayman`s from 2006 onwards as they had a much enlarged single race bearing. Perhaps a very few late 2005 models ( These were the very first cars ), had a possible issue here, like maybe 4% of them, so let`s keep things real here !!! I have owned a 2006 Cayman S for years and years, and am a member of the very large UK Porsche owners club. Have yet to hear of a single IMS failure in any car properly maintained. Bore scoring however, can be an issue with about 5% of cars with the 3.4 litre engine, so that should be checked before purchase. I have never had an issue with it personally, and know no one with this problem, even those with 120k miles on their cars. But it can happen.
As good as it gets Love your videos very interesting and accurate 👍

What is AOS?

@@Rockit181 thank you
I have a similar stock car , and am curious as to what it is worth to someone who wants to modify it for track
Great video
Great exhaust note! The 987.2 shouldn’t have 400 cell cats 😅 I’m too scared to replace mine and snap a bolt
Great video tour. The Momo genuine GT wheel is lovely but do you not have concerns that their is no air bag in front of you?
no one cares until they crash ;)
