Fun fact: TF2 maps and characters were designed in grayscale allowing for everything to be distinguishable even before color. There's a lot of good vids on what makes TF2 design so good, I'd check them out :D

@@madhatter984 Because when overwatch first came out, everyone was saying that TF2 will die because overwatch is just a better game. Now at least more than half of Overwatch's playerbase is gone, a lot of the metas are boring and repetitive, and TF2 has been keeping consistent numbers since it came out more than 10 years ago.
@@doug2555 its all about the replay experience since overwatch is not as a sandbox fps ofcourse its going to get old really fast and it doesn't help that blizzard is sucking chinas ass causing the boycott
And tf2 roster is limited to the 9 classes making your mastery of any one of them that more prevalent and really shows you that you are improving, unlike overwatch where you need to memorize skills strategies and are limited to just shooting the enemies and thats all unlike tf2 where you can build sentries, rocket jump, backstab etc.
Overall tf2 is more popular since its more casual than overwatch and has more content and greater replayability value

We usually kick them when they instantly join or just have fun killing them with the fists of steel.
i often use the baby face blaster loadout and at full boost you're fast enough to throw off their aim for just enough time to kill them
I played 3 matches with just bots without internet and it felt like I was playing with real players. I really love how you can play most of the game offline while still being free.

The main problem with TF2 is that it's a VALVe creation, a masterpiece that defined the FPS genre like Quake, Goldeneye007, CS:GO and GTA.
In this game you can archive comedy by just pressing a button, and you almost don't see that anywhere else (the only other game that gave me the same feeling of TF2 is Deep Rock Galactic). The mercenaries are literally legendary characters, being mentioned everywhere in every possible format, and even if the game would truly, finally die, there would be tons of people trying to bring it back anyway just like Doom or Quake.
Team Fortress 2 is "unable" to die, same goes for the memories it brings with.

even if OW is arguably the more toxic community.
Tf2 doesn't have as much players in June, July or August, but in October, since Scream fortress comes out, the pro players come back, and after that long break they took from the game they realise, that this is a masterpiece of a game.

That clip of the Pyros made me reminisce about the time the enemy Pyro and I were airblasting each other into the opposite walls while only like 2 of my team are just watching us have fun. There was also this Heavy who likes to come into our base and just vibe with us. He doesn't have his primary or secondary equipped, but his melee and likes to stay crouched and not hurt anyone and it makes me sad to see him get hurt because of my team. Or the time when I accidentally set the Pyro I was airblasting with on fire and I couldn't apologize because no chat to F2P players. I miss him. I was BLU

7/10 of my deaths will be something i’ll laugh at, purely because the ragdolls are so ridiculous
My main problems about this game in my opinion are:
- Hackers
- Crafting weapons is a mess
- Only a few weapons are from achievements and the rest you unlock out of nowhere or have to buy them
- Scrap inflation meaning that it isn't a viable in game currency
- Some lag issues (which can be linked to the fact I'm playing on a laptop but idk)
- etc.
After that, the game is an undisputed masterpiece.
Scrap inflation ? Of course it isn't a good currency, you only need 3 weapons to craft it
what about the mann co store its sad seeing people spend 100 dollars on stuff which isint even worth a dollar
To be fair, you don't have to buy the weapons. You either get them from random drops, which I believe is 12 items a week, or you could trade for them. They're pretty cheap since 1 scrap metal could get you 2 weapons.

TF2 is like a big monument. It is one of the icons that people think of when they talk about video games, it just melded into the video game world. Games like overwatch are like Olympic arenas (RIO) they are built big massive and impressive and get tons of vitality and competitive spotlight. But fall into disrepair after a short while.
Tf2 logic: A bottle does more damage than a literal gun that can light you on fire across the map
