    I have always been a hard gainer. I now realize that I worked out too hard by always lifting to fatigue and that I was not getting enough rest. Recently I am doing better by (1) lifting heavy weight with fewer reps and not going to fatigue, (2) including some fast, explosive reps and (3) getting much more rest. I am gaining strength, lifting heavier weights and I am not as beat up after my workouts. Do you have any suggestions for me?

    "CrossFit style" is the squat style. Technically it's not a "style" it's just crappy form.

    • @TheHybridHunter307
      @TheHybridHunter307 Год назад

      If you're going to use the swing for conditioning why not use proper form?
      ruclips.net/video/ENfHqGoe2LY/видео.html

    • @someguy8281
      @someguy8281 Год назад

      squat swing and Crossfit style are different. Matt is showing a squat swing, where you use more knee bend instead of making the movement a pure hinge. This reduces overall power output and makes you rely more on the upper body to get the bell up at the top. Crossfit style, or "American" swing, is where you swing the bell and extend the arms straight up overhead. This is criticized because it is thought to be bad for the shoulders and again relies more on the upper body to get the bell up that high. The traditional Russian swing, where the hips are snapped forward violently from a deep hinge is the most optimal form, and it doesn't matter how high the bell goes as long as the hips extend with maximal power.

    I disagree with ur swing. It should look like a fast rdl rather than a squat. If u want squat mobility do goblet squats. Swing is a hip hinge. Pugay from the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🤺⚔
