QUINTESSENTIAL Quads and Calves Workout | EPIC Endgame Day 41

- Quads, calves, then a finisher combining a squat hold with calf raises! It’s going to be a solid session on the lower body!
For this workout you will need a pair of dumbbells, your mat and a yoga block/thick book!
The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 12.5kg each!
The timer will be on for a majority of the workout 1 minute per exercise with 20 seconds rest!
Most of the exercises will be performed for 2 sets and this applies to single side work such as kneel to squat where we will do one side, then switch and we then repeat this once more!
Where the staple appears, this will only be for 1 set at a time!!

Ya'll remember last time we trained calves right?? Couldn't walk for a week afterward myself😂😂 As a relatively new Girvanator I can only imagine how the OGs feel about Endgame almost being over already, since I myself am sad about the technical "end of an era" :( We know however that Caroline has always worked so hard for us and with us so let's absolutely smash this and cherish every last moment of agony😂❤️ We love you so very much Caroline, our true guardian angel!
I couldn't say it better👏👏👏. I remember starting out with the 5 day challenges back when Caroline had the mini programs...at this point it feels like 10 years have gone by 😅I can only imagine what the next phase will be like. You are so correct about Caroline’s calf workouts! My calves usually feel it for about 3 days afterwards! Relentless! Smashed it! Quads were tortured!🔥 At Staggered elevated squats they were already shaking. Thankful for the Calves part but it was also fire. Brilliant Staple and Finisher! B/W yet Intense. Legs feel Amazing! Solid Sesh! 🤩

Oh my goodness Day 41 already! Congratulations to everyone for making it this far🎉. I’m so sad that the end is in sight as this has been an incredible 8 weeks so far - Caroline has packed so much growth, challenge and creativity into every single workout and the sweat has been real😅. That was HARD!!🥵 But we did it!!👊🏻 What a quad scorcher!! I was out of breath for most of that and I don't think my legs knew what was happening to them!😂🥴 I'm happy with how I performed and how I was able to stay focused on the movements. My favorites were the paused high squats, elevated staggered squats and the elevated kneel to squat (🤯 used to not be a favorite..you've changed me Caroline🤣). The staple was brutal but oh so good. The calf section was killer as always and those squat rocks were soo hard to do towards the end. The finisher was pure 🔥! Quads and calves on full burn!! What a proud feeling of accomplishment after! Thanks so much Caroline. Another leg day smashed! See you all tomorrow!
I am feeling extra tired so I decided to forego my 6 a.m. workout because I know this is going to be difficult. I will be doing completing the work out this afternoon.

The whole morning I was just thinking how grateful and happy I am for being healthy, for moving my body in so many incredible ways... We should never take this for granted. Movement is a gift, it is a privilege to have legs that can jump and arms that can lift... And it is a gift to have an online community that supports, cheers and it is patient and emphatic with every single member. This one is just excellent, I have enjoyed it so much I was sad when I finished my 100th rep. Kneel to squats were a highlight for me💪💪 I loved the staple, the calf section was superb and finisher was brilliant, my quads and calves were burning like hell! What a start to week 9! The workouts looks genious for this week, I am looking forward the most to EMOM on sunday 😅

Off to work with that nice dull ache we all love. Enjoyed this so much. My whole lower body feels nicely worked, not just quads. Loving the 1 minute sets and this was one of my favourite finishers. Love how the finishers change your mindset. First 20 I sometimes think I can't do another 80 of these, but dig deep, plod on, hit 50, and then my mindset changes to 'course I can!'. Thank you ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good morning to you all!! It's always midnight where I live, and I should he sleep. I just had to peek at our quad day. I can't wait to get week 9 started! I was supposed to start with Epic Beginner. Well, I'm crazy so I just jumped right on to Endgame, and let me tell you, I absolutely have loved everything about this. I have been challenged mentally and physically. Caroline, that was so tough!! The format got right down to business. The staple excercise got increasingly difficult with each set. Felt that lactic acid building during the squats rocks and lunge to squats. The finisher was in the top 5 hardest in Epic Endgame. ❤

I loved this workout even though I was dripping sweat. The 20 second rest in between was such a sweetener. By the time the Finisher came around my calf muscles were shaking.
This was the last quads focused workout of epic endgame… and trust me that was a killer ! I am feeling so accomplished 💪🏼 and I am also very grateful for what you are doing for us Caroline.
Quads and calves are on fire. Loved it today. I actually woke up not feeling like working out at all today, but once I was on it, everything went on smooth. I used 2x12.5kg Dumbbells and elevation. Starting the week strong. 💪❤

My quads and calves are quivering...I've had them shake before, when holding a squat, say, but at the end of the workout I've never had them "vibrate" as they are today. I can only say its got to be that I am so much stronger than I have ever been. It's so exciting to meet these new challenges, and personal boundaries, push past them and enter into an entirely new world of body awareness and vitality! Thank you Caroline!!

done. I did not feel in good shape this evening but I did my session all the same. I'm not very happy with myself tonight but it's still better than nothing. almost 2 years that I am faithful to caroline. the best coach on earth, the one who pushes us to the highest and with a smile. Hello Severine! Thank you firstly for sharing how you feel. I totally get those days too! Some days just feel ‘harder’… I often say that sometimes a weight to lift can feel light then the next week, I lift the same weight and it feels heavier!
Also depending on energy, rest and many other factors can definitely play a part… but you did it! Honestly respect Severine!! 👊🏼🤩

Week 9! The knees are sore today and I may not have followed 41 all the way this morning I found a way to get a good quad/calve workout in (Advent series BW leg workout was involved😂). Also wore 5lbs ankle weights during the kickboxing combat HIIT after followed by a nice stretch. Looking forward to tomorrow’s upper body! Have a great week everybody!

Wow day 41 can’t believe it! Been absolutely fantastic so far very much enjoyed working out with you Caroline and challenging myself getting stronger every day so great full for your time sharing your workouts for free. Honestly I am a changed woman! This leg day was my one of my absolute favourites so challenging legs were shaking during the elevated lunges loved the body weight too just as challenging.

It is really good to have a session that is focused on quads and calves. I found the staple elevated half rep squats much more challenging towards the end. Thanks Caroline,

This was brilliant! So hard, so hardcore. This is literally the second hardest endgame routine I've done. The first was lower body day as well, around day 31.

Omg this was so hard, dropping weights and stopping was so tempting but I fight and pushed through!!! That finisher was a freak!! My whole lower body was shaking not just calves and quads!! My glutes after this workout were also sore 🙈

Wow that really was one of those workouts i would have not been able to do a year ago - 1 quad fear - 2 - strength on all levels - today than ks to Caroline in a year my love of quad definition is real and a goal and my strength is massively different.
