I have a 2021. Coming off of 1000cc plus bikes this is a treat. Lightweight, flickable, motorway speeds, commuting and a bit of green laning. Picked one up 4000 miles for £2300.00 . Love it.

Yeah I left my zx14 behind and took this bike with me as I travel so I’m with you! Such a fun lightweight bike to play around on! Glad you’ve been enjoying it 🤠🤙

my biggest complain on smaller, lighter bikes is always the size of the fuel tank. I like to fill up and go all day if I can. The seat issue and the little things like the kickstand can be ironed out if you like the bike enough. It is a different look to it for sure. Here's to another 6k miles out of it trouble free.

I’m picking up myn tomorrow, and the kickstand looks bent bro but il compare it to myn and your fork seals 🦭 might need replacing if there leaking. Good video bro & Shoutout from the uk 🇬🇧

Nice, I’m so stoked for you! Let me know how you like it!! You know I think it is a little bent now! Might need to try and bend back maybe! I put some fork seal guards on and seems to help the leak now! Ride safe my friend 😏🤙

Bro we have had the exact same problems .. I bought a 2023.... at about 8000 miles... only issues really have been kickstand sensor and mud in between my fender ruining my rear tire and not wanting to pay for the pirellil even if I could find one so I opted for a 130/70 thats just a little bit bigger. I offroad mine too

I rerouted my kickstand sensor now it lives under the seat, I often take mine to the track and remove the kickstand at the track

Yeah that dang kickstand is annoying haha it’s been a good bike though ☺️🤙

From what i know these bikes run too lean from factory. There's a couple common mods people do to solve most issues. I think one of them is called FuelX or something similar, then there's a filter cover that helps airflow.
Also the quickshift failure is also common, that's just unfortunate, don't think theres a fix for that.

Had the same issue with the bike "going nap mode" while on longer rides. Tore it apart looking for gremlins. Ended up being the clutch switch was chewed up where it fit into the clutch. Replaced and havent seen the issue come up in 2k miles.

Sounds like people are all having the same trouble with the svartpilen. I have a 2019.So i will be keeping these troubles people are having in mind .

I swear your bike and mine are twins I’ve had all the exact same problems plus my dashboard light doesn’t work, I used JB weld to fix the magnet to the sensor since do take off the kickstand at the track.
Use Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires they will solve the height issues for the forks and leaning angle.
ATM my bike isn’t starting so I’m looking for a solution I was driving in 4th and the same things that happened to you occurred. It started shutting off it got back on but only briefly and has only started once after that. It is not the first time this happens but this time I can’t seem to be able to fix it. I’m. Thinking some faulty wiring atm

Oh wow sounds just like me! Try tilting the bike over and draining some gas out, that’s done the trick for me weirdly enough! Sorry you are having issues too! It’s been discouraging me to continue with the bike even though I love the bike! I got some fork guards that has done the trick with the leak! I think my kickstand is bent though maybe! Thanks for the comment and letting me know I’m not alone! Hope it all works out for you🤙

Turns out oem battery has issues under low temperatures and can get completely discharged and turns out bike does require battery to run since fuel pump and other electronics draw a lot of power replaced my battery for an after market one and getting lots more power and no more engine.
If you want to fix seat issues I really recommend the ergo seat super comfy I’ve done a trip of 1000 km in one sitting no complaints

i'm not a mechanic but removing that rear guard your leaving the rectifier exposed to mud and dirt which could make it overheat and cause the engine to cut out.(just a thought)

That’s a good thought, I’ll have to look into that! Really appreciate this 🤙
