    VIDEO DESCRIPTION
    If you’re looking to buy a new or used Duke390 or a Z400, an MT03, a CB300R, a BMW G310R or a Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 or Vitpilen 401 and wonder if it is the right bike for you, I’ve compared all of those bikes in detail on looks, sound (stock exhaust vs aftermarket exhaust notes), comfort, power, equipment, rider aids and features, fuel efficiency, reliability and also on prices & availability in US, UK, India and Australia.
    I also share my perspective on which of these 7 motorcycles would be the best suited for your depending on whether you’re a first time rider, you prefer looks, or sound or power or you’re wondering which 300cc to 400cc motorcycle would be the best for long term use or even if you have already ridden smaller motorcycles and considering to upgrade.

    Excellent vlog.
    I recently bought a Honda CB300R (2022) in Thailand for the secretary's son moving up from a Honda Wave 125.
    I actually like the Honda CB300R because of the lack of electronic driving aids, simplicity and strong engine and the Neo Cafe Racer looks of the CB650R.
    I tend to look at everything available on the market but always end up buying Honda for reliability and quality.
    Honda have 72% of the Thai motorbike market and manufacture nearly all Honda models in Thailand up to and including the 750cc's so spares are readily available.

    @Rider XP GREAT VIDEO. Literally the best comparison I found on these bikes, and even the specific infos that I didn't know about and other channels didn't bother to mention. Thanks man. Do you have any knowledge about the svartpilen's 401 reliablity? I heard there's many problem with head gaskets, the stock ECU that makes the motorcycle run to lean etc.

    • @RiderXp
      @RiderXp  Год назад +1

      Thank you. I do not have long term first hand reliability experience but what I hear about that engine is in line with what you have mentioned. However, blowing the head gasket is what I've heard more in racing circles, not so much in street use anecdotes.

    Thanks a lot! At 75 year young I'm riding every day on my Tropical island, a 192 kg all fuel up 2010 Yamaha MT03/660cc. I'm already thinking that when/if I reach 80 in one piece, I'll go for a lighter/lower bike such as the BMW G310R or the Honda CB300R, 2.5 cm lower seat & 20 to 25 kg lighter bike 😁😁😁

      Age is just a number, one's only as old or young as one wants to feel. I know a few 70+, young at heart riders who ride all sorts of bikes. Recently met a 65 + (I don't know exact age but he mentioned medicaid ) who was riding a Ducati V2 at the race track! So more power to you and all of us who want to ride as long as we're physically capable of doing it! Cheers!

      btw if someone could suggest me on this,
      I own FZs V3 2019 edition and I've been loving it for its comfort, mileage and performance. At first I bought the bike for its mileage and the new sportier design.
      Recently I felt bored and having thoughts about seeing a huge crowd base using the new Fz model. Here I am having thoughts to sell and having thoughts to buy the Honda CB 300R.
      Please provide your thoughts on how you would consider for someone with 5' 11 height coming from Fz with great comfort and its bulky size to go for Honda CB 300 R
      Thanks in Advance if someone cares to respond :)

    • @RiderXp
      @RiderXp  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the support. I would recommend test riding the CB300R and making up your mind about selling the FZs V3. Although, I can confirm that the CB300R would be a power jump (twice as much as the FZs) and you'll love it. It'll be as comfortable as the FZs.

      Very different bikes, CB is more linear, predictable power delivery. Duke 390 engine and geometry makes it more peppy. Sorry for responding now, something's up with my comment notifications.

    1.z400
    2.Vitpillen

    4.Duke 390
    5.Honda CB

      Awesome! It’s interesting how despite being a pretty simple package, the Z400 and Ninja 400 are super popular. I think simple is beautiful which might have been Kawasaki’s philosophy.

    WOW, what value, performance, economy, range and rider aids the KTM has. Fantastic!
    I'd probably buy the more versatile "adventure" version. Great in-depth review (as always)!

    • @RiderXp

      Thank you. I’m in the same boat. I absolutely love the Honda for the package they’ve put together especially for the price point, but KTM has put together the unthinkable package for a pretty decent price point. Only complaint i heard from my buddies who owned the duke390 back in India were reliability related but i do think that those were more maintenance related than design issues.
