  • A $50 million mystery debt appears to evidence yet another Trump federal crime, this time relating to his Chicago business. A criminal complaint has now been filed against Trump by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, who was responsible for forcing Trump to disclose the $130,000 loan to Michael Cohen that he originally failed to report. CREW President Noah Bookbinder joins Jessica Denson to explain, plus his take on the alarming conduct of the Supreme Court.

If Re-Elected Donald Trump threatens to eliminate or dismantle entire Federal departments and force out many of the most experienced and knowledgeable employees out. Thus, open the door to corruption and a spoils system of political patronage. What he is saying is that he can GRIFT the Treasury like Putin, a Dictator without impunity.

It appears to have been his best shot at avoiding multiple civil and criminal prosecutions. It was also a remarkable opportunity for him to grift, sell influence and collect bribes. I would never have guessed there were enough severely brain damaged people in The United States of America to support, nominate and elect such an obvious chiseling swindler. I had apparently overestimated the judgment, intelligence and wisdom (what Americans so naively like to call "common sense") of the Yankee's and former Confederates.

ya got no facts - - - The Biden administration’s failure to fully enforce its sanctions against Iran is helping the Islamist regime in Tehran survive an unprecedented challenge to its authority while it doubles down on its aggressive foreign policy by sending weapons and forces for use against Ukraine and threatening to attack Saudi Arabia.
Tehran’s success in acquiring hard currency is directly related to the Biden administration’s decision not to enforce existing U.S. sanctions and impose new ones. And yet those financial resources are now critical to the regime’s ability to avert economic collapse and to buy the loyalty of its base at a time when an ever-growing share of Iranian society is in active opposition. One example: in recent days the Islamic Consultative Assembly passed a law that increased the salary of beleaguered security forces by 20 percent.
Since September 16, Iran has been the scene of widespread, revolutionary protests in all provinces and major cities. The latest estimates are that at least 300 protesters, including 47 minors, have been killed and more than 14,000 arrested. So far, neither protesters nor the regime has prevailed. They are engaged in a war of wills. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei hopes protesters, facing brutal violence, will be demoralized and go home before the security forces crack under pressure.

ya got no evidence .... again - - - The Biden administration continues to tout its unlawful parole programs that allow otherwise inadmissible aliens to be released into the U.S., providing them with a work authorization and making them available for certain benefits.
CBP says that, through the end of March 2024, 404,000 aliens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela arrived on commercial flights and were released and granted immigration parole.
Specifically, 84,000 Cubans, 154,000 Haitians, 69,000 Nicaraguans, and 95,000 Venezuelans arrived, were granted immigration parole, and released through their special CHNV program created in early 2023.
In March, CBP processed 44,000 individuals through appointments at ports of entry utilizing the CBP One™ App. Since the appointment scheduling function in CBP One™ was introduced in January 2023 through the end of March 2024, more than 547,000 individuals have successfully scheduled appointments to present at ports of entry. The top nationalities who have been processed are Venezuelan, Haitian, and Mexican. Virtually all individuals with appointments are granted immigration parole and released into the U.S.
CBP also releases data on the number of encounters by citizenship. Of note, more than 200,000 Venezuelans have been encountered this fiscal year. In March, just over 21,000 Venezuelan nationals entered illegally, up from nearly 16,000 in March FY23, 4,000 in FY22, and 2,700 in FY21. Additionally, nearly 42,000 nationals from China have been encountered in the last six months crossing our borders illegally.
Fentanyl trafficking has shown no signs of abating. CBP says that, nationwide in March, fentanyl seizures increased by 16.1 percent compared to February. Approximately 10,000 pounds of fentanyl have been seized in the last six months. By comparison, in all of FY2021, CBP seized 11.2 pounds. < > FAIR US org

A lot if this conflict isn't over Trump. A while lot of this conflict is because many white supremacists are funding Trump to prevent a Black woman from running for president.
So go right on and brace yourself for MAGA picking another leader when Trump collapses. MAGA will be throwing fits in 2027.

Shelby: The crime is being dealt with methodically. The FBI creates an investigation team with investigation files. When they get sufficient evidence, they turn turn their evidence over to DoJ. Garland assigns a prosecution team. They research the case law that has developed from the statute law.
The case law is the litigation that has occurred that involves the statute law. The statute law can be the primary center of a finished case or a side issue. There are computer programs and a reporting system for this legal research involving all State and federal courts.
The prosecutors assigned within the DoJ note all the judges' opinions about how to establish violations of the statute law. The DoJ lines up all the evidence FBI gave them, and decisions are made about whether there is more evidence they need to win a trial. They use the standards that have worked in other cases.
If they need any more evidence, they get that. They subpoenae. They interview. They analyze responses.
When they decide they have all the kinds of evidence other judges have found necessary to meet legal requirements, the prosecutors seat a Grand Jury.
The prosecutors present the evidence to the Grand Jury without a judge and all the other trial staff. The prosecutors ask the Grand Jury for an indictment.
The Grand Jury might need more evidence.
The prosecutors set out to get that evidence. The Grand Jury can authorize phases of further investigation.
Garland had 2 Grand Juries Refuse To indict Trump. Garland considered the Security Documents case do important that he then brought in a Special Prosecutor. The special Prosecutor got 2 more Grand Juries. With additional work and 2 new Grand Juries, Jack Smith was able to get indictments.
The DoJ prosecutors convincing a Grand Jury, predicts a high likelihood that the case is strong enough to convince a trial jury.
So then the prosecutors file the case with the court that has authority over the defendant and the subject matter.
If the loan is in Chicago, they would use the Chicago federal court. If they decide the law was broken at Trump Headquarters in New York In setting up the loan, the prosecutors would file the case in the federal court in New York.
For example, with the classified document case, the decision was made that the law was broken when Trump refused to turn over the documents to National Archives, so the case was filed in Florida. They decided that although Trump removed the classified documents from DC, the case was not to be tried in Washington. Trump could have raised the defense that he accidentally moved the documents.
The DoJ had actual evidence that Trump intentionally avoided turning over the classified documents in Florida, so they filed the case in Florida.
"Jurisdiction" is s legal issue many don't understand. A judge will discuss a case if it is filed in the wrong court.
If it all sounds long drawn out and complicated, it is. You might learn in a year or 2 that the loan case is being filed.
It is not a 5 hour job of reading the FBI file, writing a 15 page summary, filing it with the court, and hoping the essay will work.
After all the preparations for the filing, the defense is immediately going to respond accusing the prosecutors of getting every word wrong.
