We'll see, but I imagine sitting in that jury box and hearing first person witnesses delivering a connected time line of not just the events, but disclosure of Trump's own words, documentation, and intentions would make any defense of why undeniable. It is a narrative of who he truly is, without any of the drama, machinations of PR, or sense of being "in the fold".
I also think that by time the grabbing bragging was disclosed, his dedicated voters were already locked in on their decision, despite all evidence that he was in every way unfit for office. Some even became more invested because of that! But, he knew that, yet was unsure and worried about hitting a tipping point of reported scandal. It may have caused the breaking through of denial in enough people to cause him to lose the election. It likely did.
