You can tell who is a newbie by their eagerness of wanting to work. After a while that shit wears off so fast and you start walking around like a zombie 😂😂😂 especially at Walmart 🙄
If you worked at Wally World then you know. 6 months in you are a vet. Because in that short period of time you have seen dozens of employees “come and go”.
Lol I do construction work. I tried that before and was about to die. I came out white. They put the damn thing in the middle of the sun on a hot ass day.
This is why businesses need to treat their employees well. I tried so hard to be a good employee and I still am. But everyday that they fuck something up my quality of work goes down just a little. You don’t have to step it up as an employer but, just remember, if you don’t care, neither will your employees
Yep. I started working 12 years ago. I started out doing my best, going above and beyond; but I quickly realized that only favorites get raises, even though they just bs with the boss all day. I've seen some people that never get jaded, and they're still in the same position. I don't know how, or why they do it. The real issue is money though. If I can't afford to rent an apartment, pay my bills, have a little blow money, and save, then no one will give it their all. If I'm being low balled on my wage, I'm gonna low ball with my labor.
Every WM I go to I can tell what the management is like by looking at whether the sales floor looks well kept and what kind of mood most of the hourly workers are in. The two Walmarts within a 25 minute drive of my home are night and day. I only ever go to one of the two. It's a pretty simple thing for managers that most cant seem to grasp, but if someone is going to devote 2/3 of their adult life to making you look good and making money for you, give them some respect in return, at the very least.
God I am tired today alone my assistant manager made me stock all of her crap she packed and brought out while she stood at a computer, not to mention She made me handle the register by myself as well, Through the day she would look at my cart roll her eyes and shake her head and waddle off. Right at the end as I was gonna clock out she looks at me with a shit eating grin points to the boxes she had me stock and says "dont forget to throw your trash away" and leaves.

As a cashier, I didn't really have this kind of luxury, lol. Best I had was being assigned to the garden department, and even then, if it was Christmas, it was busy as hell. Then during summer, it was quiet. There was only one other person working the garden department when they probably needed three, as anytime I needed to get a bag of soil or mulch or something from outside, the guy was nowhere to be found, leaving me having to awkwardly stand in front of an impatient customer. Also, I was often forgotten about back there, so my lunches would be late and getting any change for the drawer meant strategically planning two hours in advance because it would take about that amount of time for someone to bring it to me 😂
I just quit my first job as a cashier, and I always had to be on time w my breaks and lunch and never got to sneak away cause you’d always get that “can I get another register to open” over the radio soon as you step away lmao

Veteran here: I worked at the same store for seven years. I started in produce shortly after I broke my arm. It wasn't a super bad job until the department manager got pregnant and left. The department fell apart and I was only part time. Everyone was gone after 3pm-4pm except for me. Sundays were the absolute worst and I eventually got my one and only write up in produce. Then I got moved over to a cashier which was okay, except you stand in the same spot everyday and I would just ache when I got off work. I made it over to the self check out host and was finally able to walk around. What made that bad for me, was the fact you were "watching" eight registers at once. Which kind of messed me up with my anxiety. After a while a manager that I used to know back when he was a regular department manager asked if my husband and I wanted to go over nights. It pays more money and it was constant hours, so we said yes. I became an overnight Cashier and my husband became an overnight dairy associate. That's where we both stayed for a time. We were both part time and my husband's hours never really got affected but mine did. There were two csms and three other cashier's. One was part time and the other two were full-time. Anne got into a car accident and wasn't at work often. Susan was in her 70's and it was understandable if she couldn't make it to work. Tara got fired for stealing. That left me and the two csms, Cecil and Chris. Cecil had an active loa where if he didn't have to come in because he was hurting to much. So most nights it was either me and Susan without a csm, or just me. Constantly having to call management of some kind to help with the lines. In between all of that, my husband was able to talk to the store manager and we both made it to full-time. Then Crowvid happened, and I became a stocker. The store kept changing how they wanted to do things. We kept hiring people and hemorrhaging them at an alarming rate. They did away with the four times a year bonuses. They stopped at the end of 2021. My husband and I actually left this month, because I was burned out with all the insane stuff they want us to get done with maybe 10 people a night. A friend of mine was able to hook my husband up with a different job and I am returning to the job I had before Walmart. I feel like a weight has dropped off my body. I told my co worker's I will miss them, but not the company. Because after being at the same place for seven years, some of them that do stick around feel like extra family.
Yeah I can totally relate to that. I’ve used to work at the same grocery retail store since 2015 I finally left the store in late summer going into fall of 2019. I was a cart guy a cashier man they had me in each department. It got overwhelming then when the decent managers and supervisors started leaving because of better opportunities. Shit went down hill FAST.
5 or more years with the same employer, you start creating new ways to stick it to management without actually ever getting into trouble. Once you learn all the secrets to not doing anything and still looking like a model employee, you pretty much become the character "Wally" from the Dilbert comic strip.

Lmao facts. After about a year I said fuck it, and get my shit done early cause I’m fast af and I just chill the rest of the day. Tf they gonna do? Fire me? Nah I’m too good and they know it 🤣🤣
having worked these jobs it really be like that, no shelf no stock, make us go back to look we'll just bullshit in the breakroom for 15-20 minutes come back say we don't got it, ain't nobody gunna dig around for some shit.
Why do u lazy employees do that. I get that u tried to find and couldn’t and wanna burn some time in the back but why do some emolpiyred just go back there and don’t even try to look. Why do some employees lie to customers and say “if it’s not on the shelf then we don’t got it” because they’re too lazy and careless to go in the back and look to help someone out
What’s the deal with the headphones? I don’t normally shop at Walmart but recently stopped at two different stores and I noticed the majority of those stocking the shelves had one headphone in their ear? Isn’t not considering listening to music if only is in your ear?
By Walmart policy it’s considered inconsiderate to have anything in your ears because you have to be fully aware of the customers around you and be able to hear the intercoms in case they call for you or some sort of emergency or service. I still had both in though because once you work for a while at Walmart you learn the ropes pretty quick.
Lol, 😂 you went from 13 mins & is that uh blunt… oh I don’t smoke… too pass that 🌬 & callin off for that pool party this was hilarious! Lol , your eyes and when you 👀 to thee audience lol 🤣🤣
At work I hangout in the janitors closet for about an hour a day. Every time someone enters the closet I act like I'm looking for something, it's always someone different that enters too so that also helps.
I still work just as hard as I did 3 years ago at my job but back then it wasn’t so bad but now it’s dreadful waking up in the morning knowing I have 10 semi tires to change
When customers ask “Do you have any in the back?” That really pissed me off cause in the back there’s jack shit lol. So I would go “in the back” stare at the wall for a few mins and then come back say “sorry we don’t have any” 😂😂
I’ve been at Walmart for almost 2 years. I was like that when I first started. Then one of the 20 year vets kinda took me under his wing and told me how things actually are and I’m much different now 😂😂😂😂 I don’t go above and beyond because they’ll expect that every time, take your time doing your work don’t rush, nobody else is so you shouldn’t have to either, and don’t take anything seriously except the work. So far everything I’ve been told has been accurate
Been nearly 4 months at my job at Take 5 and I am close to being the longest serving employee at my store already because the turnover rate is so high. I still honestly put my all into it most days and get told im taking it too seriously at times. At the end of the day I don't expect a payoff in the form of a raise or anything, they would rather just "reward" me with more hours or a new position with more responsibility and still relatively shitty pay. Plenty of days where I go in saying man ima just chill out but im not that kind of guy. My mind gets bored and I find myself willfully working. Its been like this at my last few jobs though, when I was younger I wouldn't mind slacking and smoking a blunt in my car but nowadays that shit doesn't hit the same. I just want to improve the shitty job quality without being forced to do substantially more. Forming a Labor Union has become my biggest goal as of recent. I could already be an assistant manager for this company if I wanted but its really not worth it when you hear about the pay
Yup. Im the same exact way. I've been at a warehouse for over a year. And I don't want to get promoted because it's a big hassle that ends up being a babysitting job when I just want to get in my groove, work hard, be chill and just get my check. I used to smoke at work too but, your right, it doesn't hit the same anymore when you get older. It's also a plus if your work place is easy money for the job that you are doing.
Day 1: I love getting paid for all the hard work I've done. Need me there? I got u fam. I'll even do overtime to help you out. Year 1: Fuck this building and the people running it. Need me somewhere else? Alright bet. Let just uh...PTOrealquicklilbitchufuckingthought 🤣🤣
Ngl, this is definitely relatable and extremely accurate with the exception of the car part though since in my job you have to badge yourself in and out of the building 😄
Let me ask you a sincere question. How would you run a Walmart if you were in charge? Managers are restricted by corporate and budgets. But let's say you were the CEO, or did have carte blanche to run a store the way you wanted? What would you do?
Not sure if you asking him. But as CEO make sure that get paid a good living wage, weekend rotations, have several registers open and implement good management structure.
Not sure about his answer, but I'd do everything I could to make sure my teammates are treated well enough and respected enough that they don't feel the need to say "fuck this, I'm out." Starting with benefits, a LIVING wage, and advancement opportunities.
Give all the employees bonuses but not the managers, coaches,or team leads. People that Delegate but don't touch freight shall get no bonuses off the backs of hardworking people that stock shelves, zone, drop top, and top stock and unplug areas. All employees starting paying $25 an hour definitely rotating weekends. Also make it mandatory that a members of management must move freight on nights when there is short staffing or call-outs.
Bring back drug testing, give employers decent wages, have supervisors actually teach new employees instead having another employee doing it, test their customer service skills doing orientation, and overall make less labor for them, extend lateness points/call outs if you haven't lost none after certain amount of time. Wal mart need to work on rewarding their labor and cashier employees more instead leads and managers so they'll actually want to stay long term.
As someone who worked at Walmart “if it ain’t on the shelf, we don’t have it.” Yeah the back is completely clean and wiped out bro 🙄 a meal worm couldn’t find a crumb back there.

“If it ain’t in the shelf we ain’t got it” my favorite phrase to use 😂
If you haven’t worked at Walmart or something similar you wouldn’t even understand how accurate bro is😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Demarcus Grice FR Bro! Killa Kay be dead on accurate with these videos! 😂😂😂
@@michaelstroy2832 on god 😂
Lol Jeff can’t catch a break he always doin something lol
5 or more years with the same employer, you start creating new ways to stick it to management without actually ever getting into trouble. Once you learn all the secrets to not doing anything and still looking like a model employee, you pretty much become the character "Wally" from the Dilbert comic strip.
Dawg when he was like “we in the car already”!!!!!!!! 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 I swear to god I have done and said the exact same shit !!! Bro I love bros vids!!! So on point
like my second year at walmart i stopped wearing my vest and always showed up late and took long lunches and nobody said shit about it. even the managers didn’t say anything to me about it but always got on my coworkers asses. definitely playing favorites
KillaKay is the master of comedy. This is a simple formula of everyday occurrences & events in life that are simply made into gold. Hahahaha
This is so true, had a new guy start working where I work. And he looked so serious and focused. But there I was chilling cause I know how everything works 🤣. Good stuff Killa 🤝🏾✨
I swear customers think it's a whole ass mf warehouse in the back

" he think im bout to do all that by myself" 😂😂😂😂 2 many of us said this.
Lmao facts. After about a year I said fuck it, and get my shit done early cause I’m fast af and I just chill the rest of the day. Tf they gonna do? Fire me? Nah I’m too good and they know it 🤣🤣
Worked at Sam's and Kroger back in the day and I can say this is 100% correct 😆
So accurate if it ain’t in the shelf we don’t have any 😂 they won’t look I don’t even ask 😂
having worked these jobs it really be like that, no shelf no stock, make us go back to look we'll just bullshit in the breakroom for 15-20 minutes come back say we don't got it, ain't nobody gunna dig around for some shit.
@@cyanyde4950 I wish I could show people how shitty the backroom actually is. You can't find shit back there.
I love when customers ask me to check the back cuz I just go back there and waste time and tell them we don’t got it 😂
Sometimes I'll actually look and find it in 2 secs but I'll be on my phone for 15 mins acting like I searched high and low for it 😂
Why do u lazy employees do that. I get that u tried to find and couldn’t and wanna burn some time in the back but why do some emolpiyred just go back there and don’t even try to look. Why do some employees lie to customers and say “if it’s not on the shelf then we don’t got it” because they’re too lazy and careless to go in the back and look to help someone out
Bruh I actually check to see if they got it but they still got it back there.
@@Fat_Catt not lazy employees. Overworked and underpaid employees are going to take what they can get
"We don't got anymore sir 😔" 🤣🤣🤣
From a former Walmart employee, that headphones part is FACTS 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What’s the deal with the headphones? I don’t normally shop at Walmart but recently stopped at two different stores and I noticed the majority of those stocking the shelves had one headphone in their ear? Isn’t not considering listening to music if only is in your ear?
By Walmart policy it’s considered inconsiderate to have anything in your ears because you have to be fully aware of the customers around you and be able to hear the intercoms in case they call for you or some sort of emergency or service. I still had both in though because once you work for a while at Walmart you learn the ropes pretty quick.
never worked at walmart but did work at a grocery store and trust me listening to music is the only thing that makes that kind of dull job go by lol
“I won’t go back in that bihh.. I stg”
That shit was to accurate 🤣🤣
Ong this so accurate 😂💯
Bro gets me so invested in these skits it actually makes me feel like I’m in a Walmart viewing his day to day lol
Never ever kiss your boss’s ass, even if you’re new
Bro, this shit hilarious, I just hit my 7 months and I swear I be acting the same way!!!!!!!

@Rich Coffee I worked at a grocery store for 4

At work I hangout in the janitors closet for about an hour a day. Every time someone enters the closet I act like I'm looking for something, it's always someone different that enters too so that also helps.
Moment i seen the title i already knew i was gonna be able to relate🤣🤣🤣
I still work just as hard as I did 3 years ago at my job but back then it wasn’t so bad but now it’s dreadful waking up in the morning knowing I have 10 semi tires to change
Right , it’s like the pandemic actually made me get out much more as oppose to pre pandemic people chilled at home.
When customers ask “Do you have any in the back?” That really pissed me off cause in the back there’s jack shit lol. So I would go “in the back” stare at the wall for a few mins and then come back say “sorry we don’t have any” 😂😂

So much facts on the "Im calling out, i dont give a fuck, they wont fire me".. especially with all this PTO, they CAN'T FIRE ME.
My last day today. Been in the back for 3 hours now
They not going to fired me. They can’t fire me. We already too short staff anyways! 😂🤣
I swear that’s me and my co-workers in the car 💀
Pure hilariousness!! I'm subscribed. Thanks!
Shit so true. As a old Walmart employee I second this!
Unions are needed!!! Hell yea!!
The change from collar shirt to regular shirt was genius 💀

Only time Walmart Drug test you is if they think you gonna sue em, lol.
Ngl, this is definitely relatable and extremely accurate with the exception of the car part though since in my job you have to badge yourself in and out of the building 😄
When I used to work at Walmart I would hide in the bathroom all the time.
"I aint zoning it no mo, im just standing here"😂
I miss them Cap II days at Walmart 😂😂😂
This was how my first job was when I use to work for nomnomnow 😂 Maan the memories ☠️ Bruh the blunt part was exactly me💯
Let me ask you a sincere question.
@@roomoore8602 I'm with you except for the whole drug test part because I still believe marijuana/THC should be legal in every state.
That use to be me, now I’m here in the break room 😂
