Honestly, I don’t even mind paying for my friends. I’d never put my friend on the spot like that. But then again, we never bought liquor like that, or drugs. There was no cash app. When we went out to eat, we could pay for our own. If my friend was short, I’d pay for them, because I wanted them with me. Also things were less expensive when I was hanging with my friends.
When I was broke and my boys invited me on a trip. I would straight tell them that I was broke and had no money. They would say that "we spot you", "We got you bro" or "it's cool let's just go and have fun". I would be so embarrassed and try to limit my impact on them as much as I could. HOWEVER, when I had money and they didn't. I would do the same. I would say, "fuck it man I got you no worries". We did that vise versa for each another. It never was any hate and we all always had fun. Just depends on the type of friends you got. Can't be alway broke and can't always spot someone! Hahah

Even if they said "I got you bro" "Its all good, i got you" it's a nice thing for them to do and that's what a real friend is, but either way you should always have something on you. I almost never go out and i hate the feeling when you got no money but your homies are nice enough to pay for you, it makes me feel bad to some degree that they're spending their money on me. I'll still respect and appreciate it of course, but the feeling of being broke and out with friends feels awful, it's always better to have something on you, even if its $10 or $20, at least it's something.
