I’m only 25 but worked my way up as a temp worker within 6 years. You put in the hard work and work overtime, it will pay off. I know my employees very well and am a very laid back boss but also let my employees know when they are slacking and what they need to improve on. I walk 30-40k steps a day and am always busy. If you’re working a low paying job you gotta find another alternative, there are literally sooooo many places hiring right now.

There is so much to do, and it will only hurt the closing people, dishes can get washed(the biggest problem at night), floors and tables can be swept and cleaned making it easier, and prep can get started. Now, I always hated that "if you got time for leaning you have time for cleaning", there is a limit on the leeway for standing around.

@@vadoinak620 I'm all for worker solidarity, fuck the man, BUT, if your ass is the cause for me getting out late, or my coworkers, then thats an issue. I'm a manager at a store (the lowest manager on the totem pole), but when I have coworkers sitting in the office for like 10 minutes, it grinds my gears. There is so much to do, and it will only hurt the closing people, dishes can get washed(the biggest problem at night), floors and tables can be swept and cleaned making it easier, and prep can get started. Now, I always hated that "if you got time for leaning you have time for cleaning", there is a limit on the leeway for standing around.
@@MasterGhostf I think I get the point but immediately deciding to snitch on your coworker because they aren't working up to your standards is a bitch ass move. I consider myself especially patient when it comes to lazy people but sometimes you gotta understand that people got their own problems and struggles. I figure if im going to snitch on someone for being lousy I might as well ask a change in position because you already know that person you snitched on is going to be pissed at you. Probably going to be talking shit and that creates more toxicity...
