Ya as an off grid lifer that Bluetti is literally one of if not the best inverter power bank on the market currently. Sure it's super expensive but in this world you get what you pay for. It's above and beyond worth buying and you can run 6 toasters at once off that and 12v dc charging your whatever you need and you're TV at the same time technically lol You can run a normal fridge most of the day and if you're running solar it can more or less keep running if you're good at using systems like that or conserving what you use to exist daily. That's such a wicked sponsor to land and it's exactly the right item you can use. And promote by all rights.. eff ya an that is a really good tool to have..

Each time I see there’s a new Ovens video I know it’s going to be both educating and entertaining. I actually found his channel because I was looking for something positive to watch. It’s amazing how a lot of today’s entertainment is based around drama and negativity (unless it’s the drama he just showed😂) but this channel keeps it real. He never disappoints the fans and all his videos are just upbeat. Keep up the great content and hopefully this will be a great year for the Greg Ovens channel. If only there were snow boots for dogs. I guess you’d have to start training from a puppy as I’m sure Fin would be able to rip off anything you tried to put on his feet and he wouldn’t appreciate the experience! You could try pre-warming some children’s socks and when he’s lying down waiting for his feet to warm up, you could try pulling them on to his feet. Perhaps he would enjoy the warmth of the pre-heated heated socks sufficiently that he wouldn’t immediately tear them off (assuming he would allow you to put them on in the first place!!) Doggy foot warmers 😅

This video is truly amazing!!! I love winter, snow and everything related to it and this is actually kind of a dream, building a house in the snow , Also a funny thing: as I filmed things myself the thoughts like "Well, it's time to go back for the camera" were pesting me during every walking scene. Pretty annoying to do that, but it really shows you're a man of passion.
I like that even though there was a big evergreen not far from where you camped, you still showed how to do it in an area that didn't have that cover, to show us how to do without. I also like how you didn't just say "Yeah, here's a thing they sell", you actually showed us ways you've used it, and how it works (and that it actually works). Awesome video as always.
Yes you can sleep on the snow. Military Goretex Bivvy Bag, with foam therma-rest pad inside the bottom. Summer sleeping bag inside the cold weather sleeping bag, then both inside the Bivvy Bag. And a Wool blanket is just a bit more added comfort. This is a common military sleep system for Arctic conditions.
I sleep on the snow all the time. It's a great insulator and comfortable. I only carry a thin roll up pad and a foil backed emergency shelter to keep my bag from getting wet. I avoid sleeping on the ground because it's too cold and I don't like hammocks because the air underneath is too cold as well. But you can't beat the comfort of a hammock! I was snowshoeing in RMNP a few years ago early in the morning after a good snow and was startled by something rising up from the snow which scared the you know what out of me. It turned out to be a hiker sleeping under the snow in large black trash bags. So it goes to show it doesn't take much to survive in the mountains on a snowy night. My Lab/Shepard mix died the same week you picked Finley up and every time I watch your videos I cannot help tearing up. I really miss my dog.
For a moment there I thought this video was going to be short if Greg couldn't get over that huge log. That heroing leap was something to behold! No kidding aside, I was playing with my grandson and took a leap like that and bruised my rib. That was no fun. It took months for that to heal. We just don't heal so fast after 40 and I was 60 at the time I decided to dive for a fastball.
One thing I discovered & you really should pass on as knowledge, the ground REALLY DOES get harder as you get older!! The types of spills I've had over the last few years thanks mostly to black ice have 1- wrenched my back @ least 4 times 2- gave me a small stress fracture which thankfully healed up after a few months on my left ankle & 3- not long ago, I had a "Fat Tire E bike" spill that managed to have me sprain my right knee! I'm still recovering although it happened in May 2021!!

Mr Finn plays close attention and shows you obedience If you could recognize the tones in the vocal pitch of your voice that's the reason why he obeyed your call instead of when you ask for the stick there was a different vocal tone a different pitch of voice that was the play voice you had got serious when he paid attention to you once it goes on the fire it stays on the fire now those vocal tones and picture of your voice he recognizes as authority and he respects that

If you could recognize the tones in the vocal pitch of your voice that's the reason why he obeyed your call instead of when you ask for the stick there was a different vocal tone a different pitch of voice that was the play voice you had got serious when he paid attention to you once it goes on the fire it stays on the fire now those vocal tones and picture of your voice he recognizes as authority and he respects that
