The most peaceful times of my life started camping with my mother on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean with just a tent and we would eat whatever we caught on the fire.. My favourite memory to go to in my head when life is tough is in the woods, I remember every detail.
Life lately has gotten so difficult.. I am 50 have just been diagnosed with early onset dementia along with a slew of medical issues, my husband is in the end stage of heart failure, my bosses are horrible, I’m about to lose my home.

Cool to see I'm not the only fraidy cat here, that knife drilling on your leg stressed me out, I thought I had enough control to keep myself safe while carving in my direction and ended up hurting myself pretty good, thankfully while near civilization and easily able to get it fixed.

That log for the bow drill was a brilliant idea. I've seen so many people struggle with a bow drill and you decide to work smart, not hard.
