As other commenters have said, survival is dependent on the calm belief that any challenge can be overcome.
As a mechanic for 40 years I look at something not working as it's already broke, so the worst I can do is fix it and if I'm not careful might learn something along the way.

What I like most about your videos is your legitimate knowledge of what you're teaching/showing. I am not at your skill level but feel based on the knowledge that I do have and my ability to utilize what I do know that your videos add another layer to my skill set. I also really appreciate when you clearly explain that these are more advanced skills, but then just show how to do them. I learn by watching, not so much listening or reading. In example, the rope spinning segment didn't make sense to me UNTIL you showed how to build it and furthermore demonstrated it. Keep producing informational videos, they lend themselves greatly to a world that seems to be getting exponentially less capable. Be well, and Happy New Year!

Here’s a hint: practice your long distance throwing technique by tossing away that bow saw. Replace it with a folding pruning saw. Less weight, fewer parts, no assembly-disassembly required, in action in 2 seconds, packed away as quickly, is an excellent self defense weapon, useful with a ferro rod.
