    Take your “fuzzy” tile and etch a bear on it. It will have texture like fur.

    Hey bro try leaning your tile against a box and keep the spray can at a more vertical plain maybe this will work for the reduction of splatery

      The only way I have not tried using this paint is in a non-gravity environment. And Elon ain't taking my calls. Lol

    What settings did you use in imagr?

    • @LaserNoob
      @LaserNoob  3 месяца назад

      I purposely did not put my imagr settings in because there are a lot of variables. Size and quality of photo are the big ones. My settings are different on every photo I try to engrave.

    2 suggestings, let the tile out gas for 10-15 minutes after cleaning, couldn't tell if you sprayed right away and very thin coats. Very light coat, let it dry then another light coat. Just a couple suggestions. Loved the etched tile look.

      The etched part is permanent. It will not come off during the cleaning process,

    How long did you let the paint on the tile dry before lasering it?

    • @LaserNoob
      @LaserNoob  3 месяца назад

      I live in Florida, so I let it dry for 24 hours due to the humidity here. A dryer climate usually takes 3-4 hours to be safe.

    Hi! I have a few questions... I saw you spraying the tiles with the white, but didn't you finish with the black paint? I've always heard that in order to get the contrast you need to finish the tile with black paint. Also did you invent the picture?

    • @LaserNoob

      Only the white paint was used. The laser, interacting with the paint, makes it black. And the picture is of family members.

    I have the same problem with the paint and find myself doing what I do with my airbrush. I scrape the nozzle, when I don't like what I'm getting. One can started spraying wildly and I noticed a layer of paint had built up and torn loose, causing the paint to ricochet off the loose piece. Boy that made a mess. NOW, on the lens kits. I have a Longer Ray 10 watt and the lens cover looks to be the same as the XTool. Do you know if yours will fit the Longer?

      Can you tell me in millimeters what size your lens is? You can email me at ryan@panhandlelaser.com if you'd like.

      @@LaserNoob I will get the measurements for you. I have a tiny spot on mine that won't completely clean off anymore. Thanks.

      @@LaserNoob I've been working on some repairs, in the house and keep forgetting. I'll try to get it this weekend, since I have to clean the laser anyway. Thanks for thinking about me.
