    My system came with a 10 and 40w. I just have to look and see if i.have to do anything with the motherboard. I also got in with xtool for the shirts and that came with a brand new 10w and the attachment to burn on the paint screens to make shirts. I may have to put that together and try that. Weird that a 40w, or 36 in your case, can't burn tiles. You would think you could just reduce the power to make it work. Thanks for your response.

    Hey bro try leaning your tile against a box and keep the spray can at a more vertical plain maybe this will work for the reduction of splatery

      The only way I have not tried using this paint is in a non-gravity environment. And Elon ain't taking my calls. Lol

    Hi, I'm a new subscriber. I've tried 2 tiles with the rustoleum 2x satin white but both were way to light. One I used invert and the other reg. I used 100% power and 3000mm/m and 2000mm/min. I'm running a 40w d1pro. I just too the image off of a 3d website. Any suggestions as to make this better. Your images are excellent!!!!

      I ran several speed and power tests with my 36w and could not get it to do ceramic tiles. I also had difficulties with glass as well. You may have to get some spray and try that. My tiles were all done with a 10w laser.

      The etched part is permanent. It will not come off during the cleaning process,

    How long did you let the paint on the tile dry before lasering it?

    • @LaserNoob
      @LaserNoob  5 месяцев назад

      I live in Florida, so I let it dry for 24 hours due to the humidity here. A dryer climate usually takes 3-4 hours to be safe.

    What settings did you use in imagr?

    • @LaserNoob
      @LaserNoob  4 месяца назад

      I purposely did not put my imagr settings in because there are a lot of variables. Size and quality of photo are the big ones. My settings are different on every photo I try to engrave.

    Hi! I have a few questions... I saw you spraying the tiles with the white, but didn't you finish with the black paint? I've always heard that in order to get the contrast you need to finish the tile with black paint. Also did you invent the picture?

    • @LaserNoob
      @LaserNoob  9 месяцев назад

      Only the white paint was used. The laser, interacting with the paint, makes it black. And the picture is of family members.

    Take your “fuzzy” tile and etch a bear on it. It will have texture like fur.

      The image was processed with imag-r and "passthrough" selected in lightburn settings.

    I have the same problem with the paint and find myself doing what I do with my airbrush. I scrape the nozzle, when I don't like what I'm getting. One can started spraying wildly and I noticed a layer of paint had built up and torn loose, causing the paint to ricochet off the loose piece. Boy that made a mess. NOW, on the lens kits. I have a Longer Ray 10 watt and the lens cover looks to be the same as the XTool. Do you know if yours will fit the Longer?

      Can you tell me in millimeters what size your lens is? You can email me at ryan@panhandlelaser.com if you'd like.

      @@LaserNoob I've been working on some repairs, in the house and keep forgetting. I'll try to get it this weekend, since I have to clean the laser anyway. Thanks for thinking about me.

    2 suggestings, let the tile out gas for 10-15 minutes after cleaning, couldn't tell if you sprayed right away and very thin coats. Very light coat, let it dry then another light coat. Just a couple suggestions. Loved the etched tile look.
