I've only come to find Jack White very recently and I'd have to say I think all these other musicians over power him and make his guitar and vocals sound distorted. It could be because it's live and the sound could have been tweaked more, but I kind of don't think so. No disrespect here, just being honest.
He has said he always hated that motown sound where everything is mixed and smoothed to perfection...he feels it is soulless. He believes in hearing imperfections...he LOVES it...he believes in music that has character coming from the raw emotion of the moment! Songs that are stories filled with urgency, rawness, grittiness, coming from real true emotions. Soulful songs with lots attitude are most important to him. If you continue down the Jack White path you will come to understand and appreciate this. That is actually what we LOVE about him and his sound. No one can over power him, the force is great in this one.
I'm a monstrous JW3 fan, but greatest guitarist, not even close, Rolling Stone has him at #17 and that's being kind, the greatest ax man I've ever seen has to be Joe Bonamassa hands down!!!
i never said no skill required i just think that the point of the white stripes was raw music just two people its not as good with this many members its too polished. also its garage rock its not meant to be polished
Meg is not the best drummer, no doubt about it. But in that documentary "It might get loud," Jack said something along the lines of, he needs to struggle, he doesn't want to have it easy. Well, no offense to her, but Meg provided that struggle. I think she was the perfect drummer for him.
live version just as good as studio. this guy just flat out fuckin rocks!
at 1:03 you can see that he was waiting for Meg's hit on the floor tom but it never came
Phi Nguyễn that’s what she said.
I nearly gave a shit....
Let's all be honest, Jack is the best as leading into songs
a perfect, passionate performance by a genius artist
Great solo!
Jack super valeuuuu grande talento
guitar solo at 3:03 is sooo good.
Yeah man he is a time and place artist and that makes it exciting
Probably one of the last rock genius, sad but true
Ridiculously talented.
Shar Lee RV I dunno man look at Royal Blood they’re doing awesome things and Arctic Monkeys!
Not for long ;)
Josh home lives
fantastic !!
Amazing❤
It’s humbling to see/hear 6-musicians on this stage unable to recreate the power of the best 2-person duo, The White Stripes.
Incorrect
Correct!
More like the recording is crappy so you can't tell.
I hadn't heard that for about 15 years. I don't know why though.

Yeah this is a live performance that clearly isn't mastered. It's what you'd hear in the crowd. It's pure goodness. Learn.
girl has a nice voice
best version
Is this from AMEX unstaged???
+Medousaki yes
Show
One of the best rock songs of this century. But this is too pro. Miss WS' simplicity and rawness.
Where's the venue?
Webster Hall - New York I believe. Part of the Amex Unstaged series, this one was directed by Gary Oldman.
..and"Yes- Thank you And yours.." 🇺🇸🎼🎶🏆💕🎸🎲😘. BOBZGT🏁🐾✌💀
Is ho gonna re release eveverything to make some dollars? I hope not because I always believed in Jack White as a visionary who would never do that.
Brian Marchman fuck ya wee hipster fuck, he can replay and reproduce any of his stuff anytime he wants.
Its his music..he created it. He can do whatever the fucks he wants with it
Where's Meg?
Meg quit years ago because she can't play well and realized she was holding him back. This caused alot stage fright and she stopped playing
Meeeow
Saudades do White stripe
GREATEST GUITARIST ALIVE 😉

bonamassa doesn't have half the charisma jack white has on guitar, more technical for sure but no personality imo
Thomas Duff jimi hendrix is the greatest electric guitarist that is not alive.
I can tell he's like omg violin shut up
Unbeatable_MrPleb nope not at all, and that’s a fiddle.
нифига его прёт
Эт нормально
the top 2 comments are worse than the all the others
This is good
two people band not enough
those who make this suggestions are air head
Over complicating it u only need two people, jack and meg no one else and no fancy crap just raw music
yeah this would be so much better with a drummer that couldnt keep time to save her life...
GroovingPict music's about emotion
