Hiwatts give loads of spank and twang,especially running a strat or tele through them the slappy twang similar to Simon Neil’s clean tone,they open up with distortion,Bowen you should run a fender Seville for strict clean tone and modulation alongside the twin hiwatts and then run a line selector so when you slap the distortion or overdrive on the two hiwatts kick in all the crunch but you still have the fender clean tone running above the distortion adding more slap and clarity to your wall of sound!!! Face melter
