I highly recommend visiting this area in the early fall before the rain hits and the temps are down/snakes are gone. That's the perfect time. Once it rains the whole area turns into a mud hole. There's a site you guys missed that's INCREDIBLE. You can see the highway from the site, but it takes about a 5 mile off road trail in sketchy mud runs to get to it. We made it but had to do some high speed runs through the mud to get through it. Do some more exploring in the area in areas the "masses" don't visit by BLM maps and you'll be rewarded with some incredible native sites.

Oh man, wish we hadn’t missed that site. It was incredible and the weather held out for us. We are all so glad that we did this trip, the are was so beautiful and rich with history. We will definitely have to return to catch the sites we missed. Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment.

As a geologist, I have been to just about every place you've been and travelled every related jeep trail. You're my kind of people, yet I can't understand why you don't have 100,000+ subscribers. Your adventures are well edited, narrated and well paced. You produce a smoother, more interesting and engaging video of roughing it than a lot of other people out there that have more followers. I don't understand why the algorithms keep you from the forefront but I am glad I found you! Every new adventure of yours takes me back years to earlier in my career before 4x4s became common. Back then, you could die on the trail because no one would come along for days if you broke down. Keep exploring and please keep posting for those of us that are close to winding in the winch for the last time!

Thank you so much for your comments and support. We have been so thankful to experience the places we have and create some amazing memories to share. We always say that when we have grandkids they will have a video diary of their grandparent's incredible adventures. You and the explorers before us have some fascinating tales from the trail and they are what inspire us, so Thank you!

I really like that Firebird! I'd like to know more about it. About how it was built and what running gear it has. This is a nice video that shows a lot of beautiful country. I live in Arizona and my current 4X4 is a 2018 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium. It's very capable off road and a pleasure to drive on the road and on the highway.

Tooth suggestion, drop it off at ASU archaeology department and have them examine it and provide you with the history of the location and age of the tooth. This will provide you with greater insight as to the locations historical significance. Keep in mind Spanish conquistadors explored areas of Arizona trading for gold. There’s also the possibility the tooth is newer and what remains of a lost family member who was dismembered by local wildlife or even a sacred ancient tribal burial site of which there are many in Az…
