Dave , very nice budget recipe/meal, yes on us and the girls & I always use low sodium soy sauce & can add salt if needed. I think I will steam/boil my rice in beef stock & for a side just some Chinese flat bread to keep it low budget. Keep your stick on the ice pal.

It is really, Steve. Nice call on the beef stock steam. Great idea. I have to try the Chinese flat bread. Hope all is well there and see you at the lodge.

Fast and easy ! Blanch some brocoli if you want some extra green. Personnaly I like to use maple syrup as sweetener (hello fellow canadians). Thanks for the recipe cheers !

Use Seasame oil, it will make the beef taste better. You can use either seasame or peanut oil. And thyme leaves will give more aroma. If you want mild aroma you can use coriander leaves or coriander sauce.
