WORKED FOR ME! Got the dreaded B200 Error. Powered off the printer. Unplugged from the back. Waited 30 seconds. Held Power button in while plugging power cord into back of printer. Held the Power button for 60 seconds. The white light was on the whole time but no mechanical movement or sounds. After 60 seconds, I took my finger off the Power button and the light went out. I waited 30 seconds, pressed the Power button once, and the printer came on, went through its usual startup routine, then all was well! No alternating white-orange lights. Printed perfectly!

Absolute giga Chad. I tried your "hold power button for 30 seconds" about 2 times, as well as removing the ink and printhead and reinstalling it and the Pro 100 came to life. You are the man!

Thanks so much for posting this video. You saved me from having an expensive paper weight. I searched all over and couldn't find a solution. Plugged it in one time while holding the power button and it worked. If it does it again at least I will know what to do.

You are an absolute Chad. Thank you for this, doing it a few times worked for me! Revived pro-100 that had been off for about 5 years and now it prints again! Clarification, I held the power button down for 60 seconds, then unplugged it, waited for 30 seconds while holding power button, plugged it in and kept holding power button for 60 seconds, released the power button, waited 30 seconds, then pressed power to turn it back on. Did this cycle 4 times before it worked, then connected to ethernet and was off an running. Thanks!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Worked on the first try.
All I did was unplug the printer, press the power button, plug in the printer while keeping button pressed, kept it pressed for a 1 minute and released.
    Code resolved after that!.

I use my printer all the time as a side hustle! I did the reset noted in this video. i did not wait the 24hrs, just a few min. Followed the rest of the steps here to turn it back on. It works fine. I hope this problem doesn't continue...but thanks, this worked!

Did you actually print something after the B200 error cleared?

Will try this.. Was able to release the ink carriage thanks to you but fingers crossed this next step works or going back to Epson. Thank you for your time putting this up and saving me hours if not days of ADDED frustration on top of the already existing frustration... ha!

Cripes, what a chore. Thanks! As I watched, I started thinking "Time to visit Epson".
    And sure enough...
By the way, "contact the service center" appears 32 times in the printer's manual.

I came here with the same problem. I was able to fix it immediately. Here is what I noticed.
I moved, so my printer was boxed up and recently unpacked. It worked fine before the move.
I powered it up and got the flashing white yelllow and b200 error.
I noticed the print cartridges were parked on the left side of the printer
I powered everything off and gently pulled the cartridges to the center
I then held the power button and plugged it back in
I kept the power plugged in for well over a minute and then released it which powered down the machine
I then restarted it and it went through it's start up sequence and finished by moving the cartridges to the right (not the left as they originally were found)
So the power button down while plugging it in is some sort of reset and I think is the print assembly not being in the right place caused the error.
I also made sure every ink cartridge was seated properly but they seemed to be okay so maybe not a factor.
    All good now
So thank you. My printer is working except for me it only took a few minutes.

How i fix my b200 error temporary. Some times it will work for days or just a few hours.
    1. Take out the inks.
    2. Unplug power cable and leave it unplug for 24 hours.
    3. Power on without ink.
    4. Put ink back it.
    5. If the error goes away use as normal if not repeat.
    6. Repeat as needed.

One more thing. Rick Johnson sells recycled cartridges that are originals. Get a second set of those. You know everytime you replace a ink cartridge the printer consumes ink from all the rest. If one cartridge needs replacement put in a whole new set. That stops a continual single replacement and the wasting of the other colors. The newer printers are still in the works as to what can be done with 3d party inks and ink purges. Spend sometime researching what you need and listening to the pit falls others are getting into before you end up trying to fix another printer.

Hi all. After turning off the power to the printer for about 4-5 days and plugging it into the mains, it came back to life. but only worked for one day. I printed excellent photos, and again got error b200. I touched the print head and pulled it in different directions, and it came to life again for one day. I didn’t use the printer for several days, but today I needed to print photos, and it gave me an error again. but the trick with the twitching of the head no longer worked. I suspect that there is some problem in the electronic part of the print head. perhaps with some kind of capacitor, because when the printer sits for a long time it apparently discharges and everything starts working again. Maybe someone knows what kind of problem this is and what component is giving the error?

The only solution for me was changing the print head.

I've been having this issue for years and as stated in this Video it CAN be resolved ... it's been hard to pinpoint the exact proceed but I feel like I'm getting closer.
Here's what I think is the possible cause... when the ink cartridge set too long, the dry ink continues to clog the print head... if you clean the printhead (see this how to video on RUclips: (ruclips.net/video/exc7eNzbDKI/видео.htmlsi=4tz3CK7L1Xh7xxbF) and continue to use the same cartridge
the error 10 code could happen again. its best to replace the cartridge or clean the old one before resetting the printer.
With that part out of the way, Unplug the printer until the next day.... the next day while holding power button... plug the print back in ( holding the button for about a minute)
let go of the button and right away hold it again for about a minute again and then release. That worked for me twice already that's when I decided to clean everything
before restarting the printer again. Good luck to all experiencing this pain staking encounter .

It is a Canon scam, because their error message says that there is a hardware failure and to take, or send it to a Canon repair center, no mention of resetting the printer by yourself.
