      Congratulations on the new place. Hope you still like it this time next year. I think next time I.m in Florida I'll go down and visit. I'm retired AF so McDill would be a plus too.

      @@grissomfire I have to friends that live there and before I actually bought I spent time visiting them. I actually live in St. Petersburg and sold my house about a year ago and as you know the prices have sky rocket. So, I bought myself a 2 bee, 2 bath and completely gutted it. Plus it was the only way I could get my 2 sons to move out on their own lol. I am going to give it a try. If I don't like it I will sell it. Honestly what's not to like. I am close enough to my sons and the beach, The pools are really nice, the gyms are well equipped. I told my sons they can come visit me every Sunday for Sunday Sauce. I hope I do like it. I actually had another woman ask me if I was old enough to live there. I am I am 57. I guess I should take that as a compliment. If I like it this time next year. I will let you know.

      @@angelasmith257 my HOA fees are $560 and that includes everything even my cable and internet. Plus I have the Platinum warranty plan. There are 3 different warranties. Silver, Gold, Platinum that is yearly. That covers all the appliances, plumbing, electrical, sprinklers, a/c and a pest control, and a few more things. I am pretty sure the HOA fees cover the the roofing and the exterior painting. I haven’t really read everything because I have been so busy packing and picking out all new kitchen, tile and everything else that goes into a complete renovation. I actually bid on more then 15 places and everything sells with in a day or 2 the place I finally ended up with I had bid on 3 times before actually getting it. I kept getting over bid but the funny thing is these other people needed to get a mortgage and they couldn’t then the 2nd people that out bid me needed to sell there place first in another state and their buyer couldn’t get a mortgage I paid cash and finally got it. It really is a very nice development and I am sure I will be happy there.

    The gentleman said that everything but your electric bill is covered? What about property taxes?

    • @Explore55Plus
      @Explore55Plus  3 месяца назад

      Hi John! Typically this does not include property taxes. He's referring to what the HOA covers. Property taxes are separate from the services covered by your HOA and/or CDD fees. While these fees cover various amenities and services, such as landscaping, common area maintenance, security, and sometimes even utilities like water or cable, they generally do not cover property taxes.

    Gateway to heaven, I knew a young lady her mom had a business that would come into the home when the resident passed and price out all the furniture and personal effects to sell. The relatives usually lived out of state and had no desire to travel down and deal with the process. She made pretty good % . And always had leftover items that she would then keep to do as she pleased
