Both of you did a beautiful job highlighting The Villages. It was really only the tip of the iceberg but still a great job. As you must know there are a plethora of residents doing their own RUclips videos. Where yours is different is you will help a buyer navigate all the different nuances that come from buying at The Villages. Time and time again I have seen videos where some residents were caught by surprise on reoccurring expenses or really knowing what they would be getting themselves into. Again - love watching your vidoes.
Do they now have an rc airport? My uncle went to top of the world when he retired because at that time it was the only retirement community that had an rc field for planes and other flying craft.
They also forgot to mention that The Villages has their own agents and only The Villages agent can show you new homes or lots and of course previously owned homes too - they don’t participate in the MLS - but the VLS. Outside agents can only show you previously owned homes. So if you want to see new, “used” and lots to build on, you will 2 agents. One The Villages agent and one outside agent.
The villages agents represent the “ seller “ interest only. They are not buyers agents. You the “Buyer” beware of what you share with the seller ( Villages agent ) who is now you (the buyer) showing you homes. Dual agency beware ! ! !

Actually, with the huge expansion south of 44, Brownwood is the central location
Thanks so much, Helen! Great points.
I gotta say that is the most gorgeous older woman I have ever seen… holy crap Helen do you have a Facebook?
Blah...living in basically all white monoculture with a bunch of Trumpee's? Pass..
@@sebdewitt9205 She's gay.
Wao Wao waoooo nice 👍
Are there any condo style properties there?
Whats the support services for those of us single and disabled?
Great video
Do they now have an rc airport? My uncle went to top of the world when he retired because at that time it was the only retirement community that had an rc field for planes and other flying craft.
Do they have a tiny house division?
Hi, nice video! One correction, you CAN buy in The Villages if you are under 55. No one can live here under 19 years old. Just moved here, I'm 53 and husband is 51!
How are you liking it there?
Why then to we hear contradictory statements you gave to have one owner/ resident be 55?
could you send me a complete breakdown on the bond
Im 30 and retiring already 😅 but no joke we are moving to a house we loved in Summerfield next month and although we don’t go out all the time would be nice to know a couple of places to go and have a drink . I visited a restaurant in the Villages and had the best food , atmosphere and everyone was so friendly . I loved it !
She is mistaken on the age 55 requirement. They follow the 80/20 rule. Also, as of early 2022, it's closer to 73,000 completed housing units (59,500 north of 44; 13,500 and growing south of 44) with 130,000 residents.
What is the 80/20 rule?
@@suestephan3255 80% where at least one resident has to be 55 or older; 20% where neither has to be.
Good information as always!!!
Don’t forget that Leesburg has a smaller BUT “International” airport. KLEE.
Anyone mention about the Pineapple logos on the golf carts and what they mean?
As someone else posted, you do not need to be 55 to buy a home in The Villages. Just no one under the age of 19 can be a resident of The Villages.
Why not,? I am not 55
You have to be 55 to be a resident though
@Sue Stephan A few years ago I rented a patio villa from a couple...neither one was 55 at the time. They lived a few doors down from the patio villa they owned.
I'd like to contact Bree to talk about buying, but I cannot make out her contact information toward the end of video. Can you please provide that for us?
Bree@pozekgroup.com
Great Job! You really summed up what The Villages is all about! Paradise for sure! ♥
Well done video
Is Ben-Gay included?
If my husband is 55 and I'm younger could we live there???
Live on the Space Coast- not as hot and humid as the villages.
Good info..
Can grandkids use the amenity centers?
yes and there is pools for family and pools for over 33. Also special weeks said up with planned events for kids. A LOT of grandmothers in the villages and want the kids to come down.
Thanks for the informative video. I’ve been considering TV (for one day). I’m also a huge Disney fan so it’s a little farther than I’d like but it’s still on my list.
Check out four seasons 55 and over 5 mins from disney
They only come together at the squares at nite
Thank you Ken for this great review of The Villages! It seems like a wonderful area!
Place is 75 miles from Daytona Beach that's hour and half drive. Taxes n cost just raised again by greedy developer family owners. Rip off.
This looks plain weird from where I’m sitting in England…. I have so many questions! 😅
I understand this is for people my age which I love but have read issues abt things where both parents are deployed and kids and teens are left with grandparents in such areas as the Villages and others in the southwest. I prefer not to live around teens etc….regardless of the situation.. how does the Villages deal with long term family childcare? People have been critical abt young person restrictions
The stench I smell out side....the vultures on my neighbor's house and in my trees...disgusting. This is all b/c of some baffle or valve connecting ponds malfunctioned. Lots of unhappy ppl here.
So no one is going to talk about what it’s actually known for in Florida? Lol
MAGA.
@@classicsciencefictionhorro1665 not anymore. A lot of Democrats and independents who support Kamala Harris this time.
I am a nail tech. How is the job market?
What is Brees last name and how do I contact her? I'm watching RUclips about the Villages.
Title is Villages Lifestyle Visit, and it's not even mentioned?
What was the realtors name? She spoke so fast and couldn’t understand. Thanks
Susana Wight (info@pozekgroup.com)
Good for single men? My townhouse in Denver is paid off. Way too many young people flocking to Denver. I have a aspiration to move to Florida for retirement.
Yes, but don't believe the rumors about 'women outnumber men 2 to 1'. It's probably closer to 52% to 48%.
Lots of open-air bars, music. Brownwood Square is a good place to meet people.
Tell us about the Bond that you have to buy, and the Taxes. There is a difference in some parts as to the cost in different counties with Taxes. Grass cutting, garage collection, can't store anything on your property. place in the world to live. And besides the bond, the yearly maintenance fee will also show on your tax bill, and then the monthly amenity fee. If you are going to pay these prices, why not buy a home off of there prop. or a Nice condo over looking the beach.
I’m in SoCal, considering between Laguna woods vs the Villages…, I have four to five more yrs to think about!
Biggest concern, is the legacy issue when selling the property the drop in prices by the time I’m gone
the demographic of ages may have gone to the opposite? No more baby boomers???
Laguna Woods is awesome- I’ve rented there. 15 minutes to Laguna/ beach. Close to Newport, Huntington, Crystal Cove, etc…
Lived in laguna woods over 15 yrs...for my taste better selection of clubs & easier to get around outside of LWV...am in The Villages now...way too hot here!! Alot of restaurants: food is just ok & expensive!! 100 pools & NONE with an awning of any kind? Can't go to a pool b4 6pm b/c TOO SUNNY!! NO whirlpools REALLY?? PUBLIX & WINN DIXIE are expensive OR Walmart... that's about it!!
One important idea that wasn’t fully or accurately talked about is age. We’re 52 and just bought with no issues. The important detail in being under 55 is your children. If your kids are 19 years old you can buy at I guess any age.
Im going their in 8 days!
I want my own private sinkhole. With my Villiges home.
I know Ken Creely, a FSU grad from late 60’s or early 70’s. Great guy and was in on ground floor working out of a trailer. His so , Timmy is now involved. Just want to say hi to Ken from Stan in Texas.
Have left messages for Bree with your office and with the web site pop up ... no reply?
Hey Kamera. I don’t see your name in our website. Please call Bree direct at +1 (407) 492-5636
@@kenpozek Thank you for getting back to me. I called your office about a week ago and spoke with someone, asked for Bree, and left my contact info. Last night I went on your web site and the window that opens up and asks if you need help, I again said that I would like to speak with Bree. She just texted me and we will be speaking this evening. I was impressed with her knowledge in the video that you made. I am planning a move later this year and am trying to lay the ground work ahead of time.
Great community.
Kinda how Ford envisioned America. Small-town that were self sufficient. Everyone worked in the town and maintained their space. Factory workers lived in same neighborhoods together. Etc etc. Still happens in The UK and other areas. I'd rather live in the mountains myself. Quieter.
I grew up in Dearborn MI (the town Ford built). Very similar.
@@kenpozek same here in Pueblo CO. Steel Mill built and all the old neighborhoods were built for the workers, supervisors and managers etc. Biggest home on the block was the supervisor
If you love crowds, wall to wall traffic, wait list for many of the amenities, well this is for you. Been there and couldn’t wait to get the heck out. Margaritaville Daytona is far better!
Do you have deep fryers yes we have thousands and thousands smiles..great video most seniors can't afford your villages lots of money
Some Kind of Heaven brought me here.
great video & she's a stunner
Is there a place in the Villages where I could buy a large lot and not have to live in a cookie cutter shack?
Wow, Looking to move here.. Soon
What are the HOA fees?
They don’t call it a HOA, they call it a “Amenity Fee” and she said it was approx. $165/ mth.
I will be able to move to the Villages when I begin collecting Federal welfare, SS. I plan to collect in 2 years when I turn 70.
Thank you for this video. What in the world is Bree's email address???? I couldn't catch it from the video please.
Bree@pozekgroup.com
Ken great video and review of The Villages. I really think you should put Bree's information up above so everyone watching your video can reach out to her if they need anymore information about The Villages. At least give her a plug up above!
Yes...why not put her contact info? Isn't that just common sense/coursety? Must be some reason he STILL hasn't put it here. Sad...
I think Bree should have done this video solo -- no need for him.

The Villages would not be in existence were it not for big Federal Welfare programs like Social Security
@@jamesinkeys You paid into a big Federal Govt. program. Just like any welfare recipient you are being paid a benefit form the Federal Govt. program. Enjoy it!
You are correct Ed, Social Security is welfare and welfare benefits should not be spent to party like a jerk at the Villages.
@@jamesinkeys Please calm down James. No reason to feel guilty about accepting a monthly welfare check. Thank the hard working young people who are making this possible for you.
F*ck you. We paid into SS: it is OUR money.
