It's nice having Billy interject once in a while. He's got perfect timing because he brings up info that you don't, so he's definitely helpful. He doesn't chatter too much like other channels that distract me. He does a good job. Only interjects when he offers good information or information that we may otherwise miss..thumbs up to him.
What a great question... (about your mom).. it lead to such great conversations... found myself smiling as Chelsea, kept saying “what”? It was sweet to see her be amazed and impressed with her mom ❣️
I really love your podcast. It's a perfect mix of structured time and chat time. I also find the podcast to be calming, inspiring and uplifting. You guys have nailed the perfect podcast. Thanks so much for time and effort put into the recording and publishing of the podcast. Wishing you all good health, love and cheer. Looking forward to seeing you again in 2021.
Great podcast ladies and Billy!! Love the picture with Sherri and Billy with the green, blue and white quilt!! Chelsi I love that your favorite colors change! Mine changes all of the time, I don’t even have a favorite season! They are all my favorites!! My little 4 year old granddaughter started being like Mimi, she changes her favorite colors now too. Sherri, I plan on starting your BOM on time this year!! Thanks for all that y’all do!!
This novice quilter is so happy to hear you will be giving tutorials for your block of the month. I hope to be able to join in. Love the photo of you, your mom and Billy. Your podcasts are so enjoyable and It’s so nice to see such a wonderful mother/daughter relationship. Merry Christmas 🎄
Amazing....quite excited about step by step tutorials.....greatly appreciated...2021 once my fabric and pattern arrives, i am making Chelsea’s tree quilt, with folktale, was hoping to start in December, but just as excited to do in 2021....thank you Ladies and Billy....
You guys seem so relaxed during these chats... feels like we are having a visit in my living room. Also... I think Billy’s voice adds greatly to the conversation ❣️ Merry Christmas 🎄 to you ALL
Looking forward to the new BOM. I just made the last block of the Labor of Love quilt, looking forward to putting it together soon. Thank you for all the fun tutorials and the podcast. Merry Christmas 🎄
My mouth drops when you said that you were 17 and sewing so professionally for some one. Most of us just sew our own clothes not for a debutante, please share the picture. I enjoy you two talks so much and I have learned so much this year and I shared you with people that I know needing some information for something. THANK YOU for doing the podcast and the tutorials. 2021 sounds so good that I look forward to seeing you all. Stay Safe till the next time in 2021.
Oh my God the potholder loom and the sewing cards. Haven’t thought about them for years. I LOVED the sewing cards. Wasn’t great working the loom though. Thanks for the memories!
It is so funny to watch Chelsea react to all the fabulous sewing her mom accomplished. Love that brother knew lots of fun facts. Merry Christmas to you and you whole family.
Love your podcasts and seeing your beautiful projects/patterns. Merry Christmas to you both and your families - enjoy the holidays and some time off! You will be missed though!! Always a special treat to see your new videos pop up!
I'm so late!! I wanted to tell Sherri that I started the exact same way. 2 classes at Singer then one at a local department store. You modeled what you made and wore accompanying pieces and got 25% off if you bought them. I made a striped shirt with ruffles at the top and down one side and at the sleeve, (I'm older than you are!) Both of my Grandma's quilted, but I'm adopted and came around late in life, so neither of them could teach me. My one grandma pieced and quilted blocks of Hollie Hobby that I did with Trichem paints with the rollerball. I bet you had some!! I look forward to being with y'all next year. Have a blessed Christmas and a Better New Year.
Love the podcast! I started sewing in 4-H when I was 9, but didn’t start quilting till this past summer. I’ve read the blog from the beginning to September 2015 in the last 5 days. Looking forward to finishing, and doing the BOM with you in 2021. Merry Christmas to you both!! 🎄
The pressing to one side came from a time when quilts were pieced together by hand. It would make the seams sturdier to press to one side rather than open. When I first started quilting to make sure that I cut accurately I would put a post it note next to the line I need to cut on. I have been known to cut a quarter inch off at times. The post it keeps me on track.
I have a "Jane Austen" fat quarter bundle and I am looking of a really good pattern to use it on. You both have such wonderful patterns, I was wondering if you have any suggestions. Thank you for all you do!
Does your Perfect Steam iron ever leak like regular steam irons? If not it would be so worth the money. Steam irons just don’t last no matter how expensive they were.
I’ve done a virtual religious retreat that had zoom time each day for discussion about the class links or the event links that we did in our own time throughout the weekend. Do you think you could do some like that where we could do a quilt retreat? I’ve always wanted to go to one but haven’t been able to. We could pay online and reserve spot

You two are so sweet together. I would love to see pictures of the dresses made a few years back. A neat story!
Yes... we need to see that dress 😊
Hope you all have a Happy Christmas, stay safe and best wishes for 2021!
I have the perfect steam iron that you have and OMG it is the bomb!! I had to save up for awhile to get it but have never regretted buying it.
I love orange!
Nice mother daughter team. Merry Christmas!

We had a Singer sewing store at the Mall too :). Wow impressive you made the pageant dress:)
I really like your podcast. It’s the first time I watched. I just bought one of your patterns. I am excited to start it.
You can also use a light hand weight at the opposite end of your ruler on long cuts
The best notification to wake up to
I so look forward to your podcasts. Question…Do you have any suggestions of patterns for a one color (plus white) quilt?
Happy Holidays ❤️❄️
Would you talk more about your 2021 BOTM plans on your January podcast? I think that would be a good experience for me next year. Thanks.
Yes, and it will be on my blog January 7th with the first block and information.
I have a "Jane Austen" fat quarter bundle and I am looking of a really good pattern to use it on. You both have such wonderful patterns, I was wondering if you have any suggestions. Thank you for all you do!
The big girl iron , this is a question for Cherri, what needles do you use when you hand sew the little flowers together?
I actually just use Primitive Gatherings binding needles...I like that they are sharp, easy to thread, and not too short.
Thank you, I guess she has a Etsy shop I will look. I enjoy you and Chelsea podcast it is my favorite.
Does your Perfect Steam iron ever leak like regular steam irons? If not it would be so worth the money. Steam irons just don’t last no matter how expensive they were.
Mine has never leaked, and I've had it about a year and a half. I mix distilled with tap water 50/50 for it.
Fun idea!
I'm cracking up about favorite colors. My kids and grands say my favorite color is red and white polka dots. They're right!
Do you have a link for 2021 block of the month fabric requirements?
I'll be posting for the first time on this on Thursday, January 7th
Where will I find information on block of the month?
First post will be Thursday, January 7th
❤️💚❤️
Hey, ladies!
Thanks both of you for great shows!
L💜ve these!
Hey, Chelsi, what is an IG “preset”???
