Imagine if this happened during your Ragnarok playthrough 💀
On a serious note, before Ragnarok released I wanted to record a "one last time" Sigrun Lv. 1 GMGOW+ fight but never got the chance! After realising that Sigrun has the same grapple animation for both games, I figured it would be a perfect opportunity to transition back into 2018 gameplay and make it happen. To my surprise, muscle memory kicked in within 5 mins and I became fluent with Kratos' old moveset (still rusty ofc). Combat still holds up in 2018!
It feels like combat wise: Arkham Knight is the sequel to Arkham City as it is for God of War: Ragnarok to God of War 4
Arkham City and God of War 4 both have great combat but are elevated to such heights by their sequel's combat (Arkham Knight and Ragnarok) especially that Arkham City still holds up incredibly well combat wise as God of War 4 did

I just started fighting Sigrun for the 1st time yesterday. Now I can truly understand how insane this is. Definitely gonna try to implement the 180° strat.

@@matthewgabriele206 Not the only defense but one of the easier and faster ways for sure. You can interrupt her with your axe or blades. You can also simply look down at the ground.

This transition surprised me a lot, I'm playing the NG+ of the 2018 game and I'm loving it. Super fast and fluid gameplay. I learned how to do the continuous punch and it's really good 😊

Probably the hardest boss in recent gaming history sigrun took so much patience and understanding at first killing me on numerous occasions however once beaten she is mediocre on my second time around I absolutely decimated every single enemy that indeed stepped towards me in true kratos fashion they were torn limb from limb they posed barely a threat from every angle in numerous attacks and in numbers they are and always will be fresh meat for the absolute GOD OF WAR 💯

This fight was beautiful, would you say that the combat system in god of war 4 is better than in god of war 5? And also what’s your opinion on who is harder, Sigrun or Gná?
I would like if the music was louder because I feel like in the newer gow games the music is very silent, very toned down, in gow ragnarok I play with sfx on 4 dialogue on 6 and music on 10 in the options so I can hear the music better
